Well, Cam, your first goal of the season and it’s got a draw for you today in a very very strange affair. Yeah. Um, always happy to uh get on the score sheet. Um, you know, I want to get on it a few more times before the season’s out. Um, definitely a few more assists as well, but yeah, no, I’m I’m happy with that today. Um, the game I thought we could have we could have, you know, won in the end. Um, have a lot of moments and um, part of the game, but listen, it was a it was a tough game. Always is here. So, yeah, relatively happy with that today. Yeah, just talking to Andy about it as well and you know the strange decisions going on out there, you know, I’ll get you to comment on those particularly, but in those sort of circumstances, how important is it just to try and keep cool and to concentrate on what you can do? Yeah, absolutely. Um, we come in at halftime and we just said, you know, we’re it’s going to be about our second half. Um, you know, the conditions played a part in the game today, but you know, they’re no excuse. Um, same for both sides. Like I said, we had to roll our sleeves up here today. It’s a really tough place to come. Um I think the boys showed a lot of character especially to you know at one point be 3-1 down and you’re kind of looking around and thinking how have we got in this position you know to come back 3-3 and you know probably have the last chance of the game. Um but look a lot of character need to be better you know um in many moments but it’s tough for us to work on and you know we build on on um last weekend sort of um clean sheet and a point and you know a point and a tough place to go this weekend. a lot of injuries around the squad. Another one today with Jordan going off and you have to switch and and playing that back three. Comfortable there. Yeah. Um I mean it’s you know the cliche of you know if I’m on the pitch I’ll play anywhere sort of thing. Um the gaffer knows that. Um have to play anywhere, have to help inside. Um so yeah it’s um you know hopefully we’ve not lost bully. Um and you know hopefully we get some of the boys back soon as possible. So we you know sort of you know we’ve got a really strong squad you know when we’re all available. So you know we hope we get in that position you know sooner rather than later. Yeah. happy to play anywhere and happy to contribute. And that’s quite difficult as well. You I mean we are still quite early in the season, aren’t we? And a lot of new players coming in and getting used to each other. And when you’ve been disrupted by injuries as well, that doesn’t help. Exactly. Uh like I said, you know, we’ve got a lot of new players, a lot of new, you know, really good players, players that can be really strong at this level. Um and I think it’s, you know, building on relationships. You know, you want to have that consistency in the team and, you know, the person you’re playing with. But, you know, at the moment we’re in the position we are. Um the boys have got to show the character, which we did today. Um, and if we can show that and we get the boys back and we become a strong squad and we get, you know, get the momentum alongside us, you know, it can it can be a really a really good squad and, you know, hopefully we can have a really good season. Yeah. I mean, 10 games in and I know you still got a game in hand there with the Aington game later this month as well. Probably should be in a better position because of the the late build you’ve conceded in games. You know, you could be higher up the table. You better keep on moving on. Exactly. Um we’ve been disappointed with some of the goals we conceded um and and the amount of goals were conceded in in the in the sort of last few games. We put a stop to that last weekend. Um bit of a crazy game today. A lot of different factors maybe have played against us, but you know, we’ve um we’ve got a point um and we’re at home next weekend and listen, we want to we want to start turning better results, start putting some serious form together, but you know, it’s two games unbeaten, two tough games. Um and look, we look to get all three next weekend. Yeah. And and seriously, you’ve got to improve the home form. I mean, too many draws at home at the moment because that’s not helping you. Exactly. Um, you know, we we know how strong we can be at home. Like I said, you know, we know how strong the squad can be. Um, we’ve got to start turning those sort of moments and games into larger spells and games and have more control. Um, and really put some teams to the sword like we kind of did at the start of the season. Um, but you know, that will come with the more games. Um, listen, we’re not at all writing games off. You know, we we want to be higher at the table and we want to be we want to be up there this season. Um but that’s down to us. Um we’ll have a good week. Obviously we’ve got the midweek game as well for some of the boys maybe that haven’t got the minutes and you know boys that return for fitness which is massive for us. Um so hopefully you know in a in a few weeks time we’re going to we’re going to be full strength. Awful traveling conditions you know yesterday today for everybody but you still look in the corner when you’re 3-1 down you’ve got those fans that that have traveled to support you today. Yeah the gaffer you know sort of always sort of mentions that to us. You know it plays a big part. Um like you said you know the conditions have been awful. You know the conditions played a part in the game today. like I’d said um and sort of to see them there, you know, still sort of cheering us on with defending those corners right at the end, you know, is is is massive. We know we’re going to get their backing again at the weekend. So, you know, we need to start really repaying the fans for, you know, the sort of journeys they’re doing and the support they’re showing us. But, you know, we we see them. Uh we appreciate everything they’re doing and, you know, hopefully we can really give them some um good games to come. Andy’s always very straight talking when he comes and talks to us. I’m sure he’s exactly the same with the players and and he has said, you know, he’ll make some decisions that players don’t like this season. You know, you’ve been left out the side yourself so far this season. How important is it to have that spirit and that clear I know definition and conversation between yourself and the manager? Yeah, it’s massive. You know, I like to think, you know, personally, I’ve got a good relationship with the gaffer. Um sort of built that sort of last season and going into this season. I know what he expects. If you drop off what um he expects of you, you know, you’re going to come out of the side, there’s good competition. You know, it’s what you want in the side. you know, when we’ve got boys, it shows that we can come to places like this and still be be sort of disappointed we’ve not won the game and that’s, you know, without a full strength squad. So, that competition is massive for everybody. Um, I want to play in every game, but, you know, the gaff will hold me accountable if my performance has dropped. So, listen, I’m I’m happy with the performance out there today, you know. Um, and hopefully I can sort of um kick on from there now. And you still feel that, you know, I mean, last season obviously just about managed to stay in the football league. you really want to push on and the ambitions in the top half of the table I’m sure can yeah listen the um the what happened last season is something we don’t you know we don’t necessarily need to go over uh we do not want to have a repeat of anything that happened last season um you know we want to learn from it and you know sort of have a completely different season this season um you know all the boys are on the same boat with that the gaffford drives that into us so it’s not even really a conversation for us to necessarily think about so yeah uh more days where we’re sort of picking up points away from home and start picking up more points at home you score a goal certainly this season. Few more clean sheets though. That would help. Exactly. Um like I said, we sort of put a stop to it last weekend with a good clean sheet. Um and now we need to just put them both together. Like I said, it was a bit of a crazy game today. Um it’s good for us to be scoring. You know, we feel like we could put a few more away. Um but yeah, we need to be stronger at the back, score more goals. Hopefully we got more points.
