【Kis-My-Ft2 &Joy】ファンでも見逃してる”声の秘密”を専門家が解説!
This is Tsu-san, your voice trainer. How are you all doing? In this video , I’ll be analyzing Kis-My-Ft2’s “&Joy” music video . [Music] Tsuru’s Vocal Room. The long-awaited new song “Enjoy” from Kis-My-Ft2 FO2 has been released digitally ahead of its digital release, and the music video has been posted on YouTube. The single CD will be released on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025. I hope you ‘ll check that out too. It’s amazing to be able to listen to “Enjoy” and watch the music video in advance . I analyzed the vocals of Kis-My-Ft2’s “Enjoy,” and I was impressed by how much they’ve evolved beyond my imagination. While there are n’t any solo parts in “Enjoy,” the duo’s vocals were created in a way that made me wonder if anyone in Japan is doing it . It was just so amazing. I’ve analyzed these vocals more thoroughly and in-depth than anywhere else , so please stay tuned until the end of the video. Tsuru’s Vocal Room. This channel primarily features vocal analysis videos that convey the appeal of artists I’m currently interested in . If what I just said piques your interest , please subscribe and like the channel. And please also hype me . Each person can hype three times per week. However, you can’t hype a video three times per viewing, so I hope you’ll watch it three times and hype it three times. If many people hype this video, it will rank in the hype rankings, which will greatly increase the chances of me being able to reach people I haven’t been able to reach before, so I would really appreciate your cooperation. Now, let’s get started on the Kis-My-Food 2 vocal analysis. Here we go. Here we go. [Music] Wow, that’s cool. Isn’t this intro amazing? It’s amazing right from the start. This guitar phrase already makes you feel excited even in the intro. I absolutely love it. I’m curious to hear more. Here we go. Yes. Hey hey . Good. Hmm. The screen suddenly brightens from the dark scene at the beginning, and you can clearly see the members of Kis-My-Foot 2. It’s so moving. Wow, it’s irresistible. I wonder if they’ll start singing next? Let’s hear it. It’s like being carried away by the sky. Personally, I think the texture of the way these two vocalists produce their voices is very similar. They have masculine voices with a unique personality that really stands out. And the resonance of their voices is also very similar. The singing mainly uses the resonance of the air in the chest and the air resonance in the mouth. The chest clarity controls the thickness, strength, and pressure of the voice, and the inside of the mouth defines the contours of the words and also allows the singing voice to resonate with the naturalness of everyday conversation . The two of you have voices that instantly give off a golden vibe. This is the charm of the aviation clarity in your mouth. Let’s listen to it again . It’s like being in a cloudy sky . This incredibly uplifting vibe is heavily influenced by your perception of rhythm. How do I do it? I sing with a cutting image throughout . Like, “tata .” Sorry if I got the melody wrong. This cutting technique is called staccato. Using staccato gives the entire phrase a sharp, dynamism. It’s cool, isn’t it? Moving on. With a smile on my face, [Music] I’ll pause for a moment. The part where the note just rose is incredibly cool. Up until that point, the low notes expressed a masculine quality, but the sudden rise in the note is where it suddenly expresses strength. The staccato atmosphere I mentioned earlier is very easy to grasp here, so I’ll play it again, so please check it out. Here we go. A smile. [Music] Yeah. This part of the smile section is incredibly cool, isn’t it? I was captivated from the very beginning, too. Okay, let’s move on to the next part. Sometimes you have to work hard. [Applause] Oh, that’s good. The part where Arsa pricks her finger here was incredibly cool . The range of her deep breaths in this phrase is incredibly wide, isn’t it? Do your best with a smile. See, I tried singing this part, but it was about 1.5 times harder than I imagined. It’s a part with such a wide range that it’s hard to hit the notes, so I imagine it must have been quite challenging. Let’s move on. [Music] Yes. This is a duet between Sen and Tamamori. I think it’s something like this this time. Rather than solo parts, I think the song is more about parts sung by two people or all together. This kind of song is good for Enjoy. And it’s incredibly sexy. I think it’s really easy to feel the atmosphere, like the scene has changed completely when the B-melody starts . It’s really amazing how they can express this much with their voices as a group . Let’s listen to it again . Yes. The way these two produce their voices is based on the nasal sway and , of course, the chest sway. These two are the core of their singing voices. The sway is the control of the tone of the voice. These are the main points. This mature, sweet feeling comes from the nose. So, I think Tamamori is singing in a way that matches Sen’s public office this time. Tamamori’s normal voice doesn’t use the nasal timbre so much . He often sings with a mouthful of air. You can really feel the teamwork in these moments. It’s amazing. Let’s go next. I wonder if it’s going to go. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So, the first note we just heard was high. Even though it’s high, he expresses it with a soft voice while still retaining a certain tension. The key here is the subtle air in his nose, as I mentioned earlier. I mentioned controlling the tone earlier, but when you sing a high note, it’s easier to sing it if you sing as if you’re putting your voice into your nose. I think it’s a way of using the flower’s properties to your advantage. Let’s listen to it again . I wonder if the seasons are changing. [Music] Yeah. The part after “The seasons are changing” and “Going” is an incredibly difficult phrase to hit. This part, in particular, uses the changing composition from the song “Manager.” [Applause] There are many different types of “tencho,” but the one most familiar to everyone is the one where the key rises at the end. This is also “tencho,” but there are also “tencho” ways where the key changes partially, like the one we’re talking about now. This may be a personal thing , but I call it “partial tencho.” Let’s listen to it again . Here we go. After hearing the explanation, you might get the feeling that it sounds difficult. No, I think it’s a really difficult point. Let’s move on. [Music] Yeah. Ah, this is the point where it gradually rises from here and gets exciting. And since it’s a phrase with a lot of words, you can feel the sense of disappearance. It’s really cool. Let’s listen to it again. It’s not something missing, it’s Raki. Look, look, look, it’s good. This gradual rise. Well, so far it’s already a lot to listen to. With this being the case, I’m really looking forward to seeing how “Sabi” will develop. Let’s move on. [Music] Yeah, so cool. And you gave it partial points here again. The point where you feel like the atmosphere has changed a little is the part where there’s a partial transition I mentioned earlier. The opening of what we just heard also had a partial transition. And the high-pitched long tone at the end. This part is also amazing. [Laughter] Let’s listen to it again. There’s a manager here. Yeah. See, it’s also great. And then from here comes the rust. No, this is, I’m looking forward to it. Let’s go. Have fun today too. Wow, so cool. [Music] Well, the melody is super catchy and really cool. And, as for “Sa,” it feels like everyone is singing together, and the unity of their voices is amazing. What’s amazing about Kis My Family 2 is that even though everyone is singing together, they’re all singing in perfect unison, even down to the smallest details. Of course, the sound and the atmosphere of the voices are great, but even the smallest details of the rhythm are perfectly synchronized. So, the staccato in Kaido and Yoko’s part that I mentioned earlier, this atmosphere, they all cut the sound at the same point when singing. With that in mind, let’s listen to it again. Come on, come on. See, it’s amazing , isn’t it? Like, taratarateta. They sing it like this. Wow, what can I say? Moving on . Yeah. It’s cool. This catchy atmosphere and this sense of speed are incredibly comfortable, aren’t they? And this sense of loss, the stacker I’ve been talking about, is the key here. [Applause] Cutting the sound creates a kind of power in the words, and this power creates an atmosphere of the sound moving forward. Let’s listen to it again. Yeah. It’s, it’s awesome. Also, the stack-out, which is a rhythmic element in the music , but the strength of the pronunciation in the scene is also a key point. I think scenes like “S” are the parts that really grab your attention, but what really makes this scene so powerful is that all the members sing together. I ‘m sure there are very few boy groups in Japan that sing in such unison. Maybe Kis-My-Ft2 is the only one. I think they’re so thorough in how they sing, down to the smallest details. It’s really amazing, isn’t it? Let’s move on. Wow, that sounds fun. I just made a weird noise. I said “wow.” Sorry. Yes, I think what’s great about Kis -My- Ft2 is that they mix cool with fun expressions like this. Their songs and vocals make you experience a variety of emotions. This is what makes Kis-My-Ft2 so appealing. Let’s listen to it again. Hmm. It’s amazing. It makes me so happy I can’t stop smiling. I really think they’re an amazing group that makes you feel that way. Let’s move on. Yeah. Good. It’s really great. Personally, I think that listening to Kis My Family 2 songs on days when you’re feeling down is the best way to change your mood. Moving on. [Music] Yeah. Yeah. I can’t get enough of it. It has that idol vibe. [Music] It’s so sparkly. It’s like he has a prince-like vibe all over him. It’s just too amazing. Moving on. [Music] Yeah. That’s good. He uses falsetto here. Such a beautiful falsetto. This beautiful element. This is because the voice has a dark tone called head voice, which resonates with the head. The dark tone of head voice, not just in falsetto but also in natural voice , is what happens. By using head voice, the singing voice has a really clear texture, and this part uses that head voice. Let’s listen to it again. [Music] Yeah. I thought it was falsetto, but there are members singing in falsetto and members singing in natural voice. So there are two parts. That’s what I thought when I listened to it just now. If it was just falsetto, I think it would have a more airy atmosphere, but because there are members singing in their natural voices, it has a voice that feels airy yet powerful . See, they record with these kinds of details in mind . I really admire Kis-My-Face 2. Let’s move on to the next one. [Music] Ah, I see. So they don’t sing in the second half. I see. That’s the arrangement. I wonder if there’s a feint meaning here, like they’re going to come but then they don’t. No, we’re only on the first verse, but I’m really excited. Okay, I guess we’ll move on to the second verse. Let’s go. [Music] Yeah. This is Fujigaya-san and Miyata-kun’s key point. The combination of Fujigaya-san’s gentle voice, which is amidst this wild feeling, and Miyata-kun’s beautiful singing voice creates a sense of spaciousness that’s amazing. It’s like an atmosphere, you know. Let’s listen to it again. [Music] Yeah. Now that I’ve listened carefully, Fujigaya ‘s voice is dominated by the Kyomei of the chest and the Bisora resonance of the flowers, while Miyata’s is dominated by the Misora resonance of the nose. It’s like they each control their chores , or rather, their singing style. I think the key is that Fujigaya expresses the overall masculine wildness, while Miyata expresses the soft, airy feel of his voice and the beautiful nuances . It feels like the two of them create one singing voice. Moving on. I want your heart. My mouth’s hanging open. It’s just too good. Having just discovered that the two of them create one singing voice, I was so moved by this that I listened to their voices again, and they were so good I couldn’t help but drop my jaw. These are the kinds of things you can’t really understand without detailed analysis, so I’m glad I learned about them this time. I’m incredibly happy. Let’s listen to it again. Hmm. Good. And, as expected, the two of them are perfectly in sync when it comes to cutting the sound and when to emphasize the silence, so there’s an incredible sense of unity. [Music] It’s the best. Let’s move on to the next part. [Music] Yeah. That’s good. This sad phrase is where Michi and Yoko’s voices really fit. For this Enjoy, have the parts been divided up, or have the duet singers been decided yet? I think it was Kato and Yoko who sang the first part of the A-melody. They also sing the B-melody of the second verse . Is that the case? Let’s listen to it again. [Music] Breathing . The momentum of this voice, pushing forward, is irresistible . I think Futami-kun created this part, but I think it’s Yoko-kun’s voice that really emphasizes the individuality of the voice . It’s the perfect tag team. Let’s move on to the next part . [Music] [Applause] I think this low range really emphasizes Yoko’s nasal, oh-so- no-Kyomei sound. Yoko has a very unique way of producing his voice. It’s the way he creates a tone that’s very close to a speaking voice, which gives it a golden feel in a good way . Let’s listen to it again. Happy’s okay. Because he’s here. So cool. So awesome. [Music] Even though they’re singing together, they create parts that bring out the best in each of them, which is irresistible. Now, let’s move on to the chorus. [Music] Let’s go beyond something. Yeah. I really love the vibe of this song. I think it has a charm that makes you want to listen to it over and over again. The reason for that is the strong vocal teamwork when all of Kis-My-Hood 2 sing together. I think this is the biggest reason, but it’s because everyone’s voices are all in sync, down to the finest details, that they create this kind of “glue” feeling , and it’s so cool. Let’s listen to it again. See, the overall scene is strong. I thought in the first chorus that it was all about the “C” at each point , or maybe the second chorus is a bit too strong. In “No. 1,” the “C” sound is pronounced strongly throughout, perhaps amplifying the power of the vocals , but the strong point of this scene is also because all the members pronounce it strongly in the same place. This is also their love for Kis-My-Ft2, is n’t it? I think it’s a reflection of their desire to deliver the best performance they can to the people of Kis-My-Ft2. It’s truly amazing, isn’t it? Moving on. Look. Hmm. Yeah. I think I’ve released about 15 videos for Kis-My-Ft2 songs , and with each new song, the vocals of all the members have evolved. But this time, the evolution was far beyond my imagination . It’s more like the evolution of Kis-My-Ft2 as a whole, rather than the individual vocals. Like I said earlier, it’s way beyond my imagination. I feel like they weren’t even on the same page in terms of the small details . But they’re really putting in a lot of effort behind the scenes. Kis-My-Ft2 is amazing. Moving on. Yeah. I love this part. This part is great. I have a feeling that the “enjoy” part will have a call-and-response feel in a live performance, like they might do something like “seii.” I think that’ll be it. Let’s move on to the next part. [Music] Here we go. That’s good. The part where the breath range suddenly increases at the “horror” part is really cool and fast-paced. A really great song, “enjoy.” Let’s move on to the next part. [Applause] [Music] I see. This is where the “back melody” comes in. Fujigaya-san’s “good day” at the end of the “sa.” That’s cool. Really cool. And now the “back melody” starts. Sorry. I was surprised just now, but the “back melody” is a duet between Tamamori-kun and Senga-kun. It seems like the members who sing in duets are fixed after all. I’d like to listen to it again from the beginning of the “back melody.” It’s amazing. [Applause] [Music] Hmm. It’s full of sex appeal. As always. And this laid-back atmosphere is also very comfortable. This song uses a technique called half-tempo, which is an arrangement technique. What it means is that the tempo is half of the previous tempo . If the previous tempo was ‘tan tan tan’ , then at half tempo it becomes ‘tan tan tan’. The two voices perfectly match this laid-back atmosphere. Let’s listen to it again. [Applause] [Music] Yeah. Yeah. It’s great. So, I guess the key here is that Sen creates a sweet, sensual atmosphere, while Tama provides the vocal attack and power . If you listen closely, you can hear them both expressing their respective roles clearly as they sing. And then they create a sense of unity, which is truly amazing. Moving on to the next song. ‘ I’m happy too.’ It’s incredibly high-pitched. Here, both of them use what’s called mixed voice. It’s a voice somewhere between their natural voice and falsetto. However, this mixed voice is officially called middle voice, but I think that in today’s world, about 99% of people refer to middle voice as mixed voice . That’s why I explain to everyone that a voice somewhere between chest voice and falsetto is mixed voice. But I hope you keep in the back of your mind that the official name is middle voice. This voice is incredibly difficult to control. It’s a voice that requires very delicate use. Let’s listen to it again. Happiness overflows in spring, summer, fall, and winter. [Music] Yes. The last part, “Overflowing with happiness,” is a perfect mixed voice. The rising feeling of this sound is really exciting, isn’t it? Moving on. When you feel overwhelmed and can’t control your emotions, this is the place to go. This time, the key changes, and the key drops. By lowering the key, Fujigaya-san and Miyata-kun’s voices become very masculine and thick, which is incredibly cool. Let’s listen to the music once more . It’s so emotional, it makes me want to listen to it. Yeah, it’s good. Here, the two of them each create their own roles and create one voice, but Fujigaya-san has a manly, sexy feel, and a really cool voice that uses his chest. Miyata-kun, on the other hand, adds this kind of crying singing style to create that voice here. I wonder if the theme of this song? The enjoyment of Kis-My-Hood 2 is that the two of them each create their own roles and create one voice and expression. Maybe that’s it. I don’t think there’s any other boy band in Japan that does this. I think Kis-My-Hood 2 is the only one. Moving on. Season of Choice. So cool. So amazing. I’m already grinning. So cool. It’s incredibly sexy, but the voice quality is just a little off. [Music] That’s what I get when I hear it. It feels like he’s smiling as he sings, and it just warms my heart. Let ‘s listen to it again. [Music] See? [Music] It’s amazing. This is amazing. I’m sure everyone at the bar feels the same way. It’s truly amazing. Let’s move on to the next part. [Music ] Isn’t it amazing? Sorry. I stopped right away. It was so cool I had to stop. This “burn, burn, burn” thing is so cool, isn’t it? In musical terms, this is what’s called a “decisive point.” The hand movements like this, “bum, bem, bem, bem,” are a little weird, but this is how the instruments in the background play the same rhythm and use the same sound to determine the point . I think artists often coordinate their movements with that “burn, burn, burn” in their performances. That ‘s the key point. Let’s listen to it again. Like, hey, hey, hey, hey, burn, burn. It sounds kind of uncool when I do it, but that’s what it was like. As expected, the performance was timed with movements that matched the strong accent of that decisive bang. Super cool. As expected from Dai. Let’s move on to the next part. Oh, I see. I see. So the first part is the decisive point, and then it flows like the usual chorus. Wow, that’s great. Let’s move on to the next part. Yeah. Ah, here we go. No, this is getting me way too excited. For some reason, I feel like my voice is louder than usual. I’m so excited, it’s really cool. [Music] Let’s move on to the next part. Oh, so that’s where we’re going. [Applause] It feels like it’s almost time to end, but it brings up feelings of joy and loneliness. So here we go. I ‘m so pleased. [Music] I’m so pleased. It’s a really great song. It’s a really great song, the lyrics are amazing, and the performance is so cool , it just hits all three notes. Enjoy. Let’s move on to the next part. Ah, that’s nice. Looks fun. Nice. The smiles are lovely. I have a feeling it’s going to fade out like this, but I wonder ? There are about 30 seconds left, but I wonder if it’ll gradually, like, get quieter and end. Let’s continue. [Music] Yeah. Right now, the six members on top of the music video have taken this pose, so it ends here with a bang, and I thought there might be some kind of another story, but it looks like the song will continue like this. Is this also a feint by Kis-My-Hood 2 towards the Kiss members ? Let’s continue. [Music] Ah, it kind of feels like it’s over. Ah, I see. They’re gone. The normal reaction is, they’re gone. On the screen, all the members of Kis-My-Hood 2 have disappeared, but the song continues. It continues for about 20 seconds. I wonder what’ll happen. Here we go. Enjoy. Oh, it’s getting dark. Oh, they’re out. They’re out . I thought it would end with the intro, or rather the lighting color at the beginning of the song, and then Kis-My-Fu 2 makes their first appearance. Ah, that’s how it felt. Here we go. Mori-san seemed to frame out of the screen for a second, did he fall or something? I wonder? No, it was really cool and fun. And that concludes my Kis-My-Fu 2 Enjoy vocal analysis. Wow, it was amazing. As expected, Kis -My-Fu 2 is amazing, showing amazing evolution with each new song they release . This time in particular, I think they expressed a vocal performance that far exceeded my expectations . The perfect balance of vocals in the two-part division, the perfect vocal resonance, and the expressiveness of the two of them expressing one voice together. The overall feel and atmosphere of the vocals created by Kis-My-Ft2 make you want to listen to it over and over again . It’s no exaggeration to say that the songs are perfect, and the vocals themselves are perfect . Enjoy Kis-My-Ft2. It was amazing. I ‘ll continue to follow Kis-My-Ft2 with all my might. Soon, I’ll be releasing a compilation of all the Kis-My-Ft2 vocal analysis videos I’ve released so far. Some of you may have already seen them, and some may not. I’ll be releasing them in the description section, so you can select and watch each song by chapter , so I hope you’ll check out the compilation. I also hope you’ll look forward to finding out what songs are included . That’s all for today’s video. If you enjoyed the content, please subscribe and rate it highly. Well, this is voice trainer Tsusan.
