Inoue is legit & arguably number one or two now that Crawford retired, but the criticisms are valid. He's had some decent names relatively, but the competition isn't really there in his divisions. You have to beat greats to be great or do the unimaginable.
Where is the pressure for him to keep moving up & challenge himself like there are with Black fighters? I remember when people wanted Mayweather to fight GGG at 160. It was always clownish, but let's end the hypocrisy. Let's see Naoya move beyond his contemporaries & do something remarkable against the odds

This interview jsut shows you the difference in focus from japanese boxing and western. The questions are about dumb p4p lists, gimmick fights, some other boxers retirement and a fight thats not even scheduled yet. Boxing has become a spectacle.
