Based on a Japanese folk legend that echoes the tale of Robin Hood, this ninja thriller follows the exploits of Goemon Ishikawa, who leaves his fighting clan after its chief is murdered and uses his skills as a thief to help the poor. so far best ninja movie i have ever watched. it was sad to see Saizou go like this with his family. aside from Hanzo and Goemon Saizou was the best ninja that this fantasy world could offer.
Love this movie – absolute work of art, and this scene in particular shows how intense some of the emotional beats can be. Also love the musical score for this movie!
