   このレベルに大苦戦、というか凡ミスの山。
   これでグランドスラムで結果を・・・って厳しい現実ですね。
   最後は相手の消極的プレーと堅実でミス無いラリーで勝ち切ったのは収穫かとは思いますが。
   ３rdで大きく引き離された時点で怪我を理由に棄権するだろうなとてっきり思いましたから。

   I watched the entire match from the first to the last point, and I have to give credit to Naomi for completely changing her tactics after the first set.

   In the first set, she was playing “boom boom” tennis—rushing shots, going for outright winners too early, and her footwork and positioning were all over the place. She made around 150 unforced errors, which led to her losing the set quickly and convincingly.

   But when the second set started, it was a completely different Naomi on the court. She stopped going for low-percentage winners and instead focused on constructing points, which is exactly how you should play on clay.

   Every shot had purpose and patience—she wasn’t hitting tons of winners, but rather targeting specific areas of the court to force Dianne into errors, and it worked.

   Her serve down the T was spot-on.

   In the third set, she was down 4-1, but you could see the fire in her eyes.

   All in all, huge respect for the tactical shift. I really hope Naomi realizes that tennis isn’t just about flashy winners, 200 km/h serves, and highlight-reel shots. You can win matches without hitting many winners and still play aggressive, smart tennis.
