Fish Taco Build Showcase (Town Star)

[Music] The Townstar competition happening on May 6, 2025 will feature the fish taco meta and the addition of a new building called the Mexican restaurant. The craft requirements for fish taco are one tortilla, two tuna sashimi, and one tomatoes. It is crafted in the Mexican restaurant with the craft time of 2 minutes and stored in the storehouse. For this competition, Fish Taco will give 89,000 stars for each one sold. The trade time for this competition is 90 seconds with a one gasoline cost per trade. The starting layout provided for this competition is a desert biome with a river on the north side, mountain on the south side, and ocean on the west side. The oil seep is located closer to the west side. The cash boosts for this competition are tortilla from 9,800 to 67,000, tomatoes from 350 to 3,500, which is a 10 times cash boost, and Tunisimi from 18,000 to 78,000. The rewards for this competition are the standard Galla rewards for reaching the top, 1200 placements in the leaderboard by the time the competition ends. Rewards are usually distributed directly to your accounts within 5 days. This is the fish taco design that I’ve created for this upcoming competition. It is doing 147 fish taco per hour and it has been running for over 10 hours now. So, this is an accurate production rates. I’m going to scroll through the production monitor here so you can see the production rates of everything. This one is not as complicated as other fishing related designs in my opinion. And it doesn’t require any nuclear power which is great, but it is still expensive due to all of the restaurants that you will need in order to make this work. But there’s not a whole lot of things you need to worry about when it comes to balancing this one compared to other ones such as sushi boats. So overall, in my opinion, it is easier to do this design. And the cash boost that they provided to us with tomatoes especially being cash boosted 10 times, it is going to make it so much easier to get all the cash you need to actually finish this design in a good amount of time. Let me go ahead and break down the crafting process as usual. Starting with the easy windmill crafts, which are salt and corn starch. I do have three logger houses in charge of collecting the wood from the eight tree farms. There’s not a whole lot of wood required in this since the only things that require wood are salt and corn starch. So, the wood gets taken to the windmills directly, unless you’re running a lumber mill to make the lumber that you need to build a lot of these buildings, but you don’t actually need lumber at the very end. And then I have five farm tractors in charge of picking up the crops. We do have seven salt fields. Six are on a green crowd timer since they’re right next to the ocean edge. One is on a yellow craft timer since it’s one spot away, so it only has the two out of the three salty that it wants to have. And then I have three corn fields to craft all the corn required to get this to work. And there are a total of four silos. Three on the west side, one on the east. Of course, all the corn should get deposited to this silo. And all of the brine gets deposited to one of these two silos. And as you may have guessed, the three windmills on the west are the ones making salt. And the three windmills on the east are the ones making corn starch. That means there’s a total of six windmills. They are all on a green craft timer since they are not being impacted by shade. So, they’re able to craft the salt and corn starch at the fastest craft time possible, which is 30 seconds. And there are a total of five storehouses. Most of them can be found in the edges right here. Two on each side. And then there is one on the center here. Probably more storehouses than necessary, but it makes it easier for everything to be dropped off at the closest storehouse for more efficiency. Moving on to shrimp production. I have seven seaweed farmer houses in charge of collecting the seaweed from the seven seaweed farms. Six are on a green craft timer since they’re right next to the ocean edge since they are positively impacted by salty and one is on a yellow craft timer. Same situation as the salt field up here with only having two salty. It allows me to get all the seaweed that I need to make this work. Of course, all the seaweed should get stored here in the closest silo. Then I have 10 aquaculturous houses in charge of collecting that seaweed and taking it to the 10 shrimp farms right here. None of these are being negatively impacted by dirty. So, they’re all on a green craft timer, but it is important to not have any buildings that cast dirty next to them. Otherwise, you would slow them down. And I have the one seafood warehouse to store all of the shrimp and tuna in. Now, for tuna sashimi, I have six fisherman. These only cast one shade, so it’s nicer to have them over here closer to the windmills without casting shade on them. I have nine fishing platforms. These do require two water and two shrimp in order to craft tuna, but they do craft tuna at 60 seconds, which is much faster than you would get from using the wild net fishing, which do have to be next to a waterway. So, I would recommend using fishing platforms over the wild net fishing since it is more efficient in terms of the craft time. Yes, you will require twice as much shrimp, but that really shouldn’t be an issue. to the shrimp won’t take up as much space as say having 20 or so wild net fishing. Plus, you really need the uh spots next to the ocean and riverside for the tree farms, salt fields, and seaweed farms. So, it really doesn’t make sense to use wild net fishing. So, once again, that is why fishing platforms is the way to go here. And I have six wasabi farms. These are positively impacted by shade. So, you do want to have three shade casted on them to have the fastest craft times. And there are a total of 14 sushi restaurants, all of which are making tuna sashimi. They do have to make three trips to the silo to pick up seaweed and wasabi and one trip to the seafood warehouse right here to pick up the tuna. Now, for the fish taco production, I have two tomato farms. These are not negatively impacted by shade, so you can have shade casted on them. They will still retain their green crowd timer, but they are negatively impacted by dirty and salty. So, you don’t want to have them close to the ocean or close to any buildings that cast dirty. So, there are two tomato farms. All of the tomatoes should get stored in the closest silo, which is this one. And there are a total of 13 Mexican restaurants for this. Five are making tortillas. They do have the two passive water that they need from the two ponds that are behind them. And then the other eight are making fish tacos. These do have a higher craft time. That’s why we need more of them. And they do have to pick up a few more items. Here’s the other one right here. So, that’s everything for the fish taco production. Now, to explain the other things, we do have the gasoline setup right here next to the oil seat that was provided. So, there’s two water pumps, two power plants, the refinery in between them crafting gasoline. The refinery to the side crafting petroleum with the fuel storage next to them. So, you will always have excess petroleum here. So, it’s important to put petroleum on the auto cell, which I will mention again later. And the oil seep is provided to give us passive crude oil for the refinery crafting petroleum. So, we don’t need forklifts or oil pumps for this. And this power plant also has the passive crude oil that it needs to craft energy. So, you can easily get all the energy that you need to finish building everything here. And for the trade setup, I am using two trade peers, one on the west side and one on the north side here. with a high trade time really does require you to use at least two of these. Even if your build is pretty well balanced like this one is, you don’t want to have trade depots or trade pierce close to the fishing platforms as dirty will negatively impact them. So, you do have to be careful about where you put them. And there are several other buildings that are not required at the end, but they would be required at some point in the building process. Those are the lumber mill to craft the lumber that you need to build all the leaves buildings right next to the water pump and power plants here and a lumber yard right here. You don’t want to keep this in the end or if you do, you want to jam it with lumber. You don’t want any wood going in here or it will slow down your salt and corn starch production. I do have a warehouse right here to store energy in if you need it. And there are several wind pumps that you would want to use to get the water to finish building the ponds, the fishing platforms, and the shrimp farms. But besides that, you don’t need to keep them at the very end. You could also just use wells. The only difference is that the wind pumps craft water quicker, but they do cast one shade. And there is part of the cold or ice block setup right here, the master wizard or water facility if you wanted to use that instead. It’s cheaper to craft the ice blocks and then the Santa’s factory to provide two passive gold. However, keep in mind that you do need three passive gold here in addition to the two water drums. So, right here, you could have the wizard’s workshop in order to finish crafting the five ice blocks that you need to build the seafood warehouse. And then once you’re done with that, you do absolutely want to have a storehouse here for efficiency. But in the very end, you really don’t need to keep these two buildings. You could replace them for other restaurants if you’re trying to improve the production rates of this even further. Here is what the auto trade looks like. I have all of these items at an auto trade quantity of 10, including petroleum. It’s very important that you also put that in there or eventually petroleum will jam up your fuel storage and you won’t be able to store any gasoline. Here is what the build looks like on the visualizer. total cost is going to be closer to 40 mil because we do want to account for the additional wizards workshop that you’ll need. Of course, if you’re using a water facility instead of the master wizard, it will be cheaper, but 40 million just to be safe here. Wages are about 32,960 per minute with this setup right here. You do have a lot of additional spots that aren’t used. They can be used if you’re trying to improve this build. Or you could just have some builder houses on those spare spots to help you finish building everything else or even extra temporary lumber jacks. And then you could have some temporary tree farms at the very top to help you gather the wood or the lumber that you need to finish building everything else. Just wanted to mention that here in case you were wondering what to do with those spots. But as always, you can find the file for this visualizer on my Discord server, and an invite link is in the description. For the cash rush strategy, as I mentioned before, tomatoes are a great way to go because of the cash boost given to them for this competition. You can very easily make 3,000 tomatoes per hour or even up to 6,000 tomatoes per hour with some effort. And that will rake in between 10 million to 20 million cash per hour. Then you would just have that running for two or a few hours and get all the cash that you need. Then you need to gather all the materials to finish building all these things because the restaurants do take up 10 wood, 10 lumber, 10 energy. That does take a while to build. But really, the cash shouldn’t be the issue here. It should be very easy to get all the cash that you need for this. And thankfully, like I said before, you don’t need to worry about nuclear power. Now, the new building here, Mexican restaurant, which was just added for this competition, does have an interesting effect radius. As you can see on the effects cast right here, it does cast three shade, which is more than the other restaurants cast. So, you might not be used to that, but it also cast one dirty, which is a dilemma because it prevents you from putting them next to the shrimp farms, otherwise it would slow them down. And the same thing goes for putting them next to the fishing platform or wild net fishing. You wouldn’t want to do that since that would also slow them down. But you do have to be careful about where you’re planning to put your Mexican restaurants in your design. And as for the rotation of the building, something I don’t mention on every video, but it’s especially important for the fishing platforms or wild net fishing. If you are using those, I highly suggest rotating them so that they are facing the road. So, normally when you build them, they do have the little pond right here facing outside of the build, which makes sense, but you want to rotate them 180ยฐ to face the road right here. It is going to look very weird. It looks like there’s water on the road and they’re walking on water. But it is so much more efficient to do this because the fisherman can just go up to the side of the fishing platform here and easily drop off the shrimp or pick up the tuna for the most efficiency. And for this meta, I do like the idea of having the paved road right next to the fishing platforms. You could have a one space gap between them, like have the main road here and then have a couple of buildings over here, but I really don’t think that’s the way to go here, especially since that might prevent you from having green timer windmills on the sides over here. And we do have the mountain on the south, which I believe the only purpose of the mountain is to screw you over from having more greentimer windmills on these five bottom rows. But thankfully, we’re still able to accomplish this goal with only six windmills all on a green craft timer. So, no windmills on a red craft timer for this one, unless you’re planning to improve the production rate, in which case you would need more windmills. So, talking a little bit about improvements, I was originally going to stop at about 120 fish tacos per hour, but this was pretty fun to work on, and I just wanted to continue tweaking it as usual. I didn’t think I would end up at over 140 for this. I wasn’t trying to go this far ahead, but there are additional tweaks that could be made. I’m not going to talk about all of them, but a very easy one would be to build another Mexican restaurant making tortillas in order to use up the rest of the corn starch and salt, which is at 155 per hour. That would improve the tortilla rate to 155 per hour, which would then improve the fish taco rate to about 149 per hour. judging by the leftover tuna sashimi there. Now, if you wanted to go closer to 155 fish taco per hour, that would probably require another shrimp farm and maybe an aquaculturist or just some kind of better, more efficient layout here. And maybe a couple more restaurants, which I mentioned before, you don’t need these two buildings. These could easily be replaced for other restaurants. And you do have the two passive water from this pond here. So that makes it work if you do want to have one making tortillas here. So there’s a couple mentions of improvements that you could make to get this closer to 155 per hour, which is a great rate. I think it’s already good enough, especially to place in the top 1,200 in the competition. But then there’s still space over here that you could use. So there definitely is still room for improvement in this design. And you don’t actually need all these trees, but it’s nice to have some extra wood production in case you’re planning to build a couple extra buildings and you need to make some lumber while you’re still having the production running here. So, I tried to keep this simple, but it still is very efficient, which is great to see. And I believe that’s all I have for this build showcase. I hope you found this helpful enough to create your own design or use this one or further improve it and informative so you can perform better in the competition. 1. Great build thank you for your help ,then I work on it and it help me to get better 2 weeks in a row I got under 600 very happy about it ๐Ÿ˜Šโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿซ‚โค๐ŸŽ‰

  2. Great build! I was at 150 an hour on my weekend test build and your efficiency tips helped me get up to 173 an hour with some basic skins and cards. Unfortunately due to our all night party on Valley games discord hangout/tournament the night before I got 6 started hours late, but well worth it!

  3. Hi. Tell me why 4 hours before the end I lose 200-300 places? I slightly improved your build, there is no need for water if you put stations.Right now it's 540th place. Thank you
