Some are private cars, some are Didi rides Everything is there, extremely chaotic Classmates who live nearby, or parents who have already dropped them off across the street Walk over by themselves But such situations are rare This is my breakfast Cheap, let’s see how much it costs 13.5 yuan, no It’s 10.9 yuan Why is it 2.6 yuan cheaper? Actually I don’t know why But it’s clearly written, I didn’t look closely There’s sticky rice chicken, because I want to eat sticky rice chicken Not because it’s particularly cheap, but because it has air conditioning Might as well go in and enjoy some cool air Good morning everyone It’s 7:20 in the morning now Today’s video goes like this Because it’s been raining frequently lately Evening shoots aren’t possible So today I’m bringing up another Relatively new topic It’s the morning school kids How they go to school I’ll film around my neighborhood Been out for too long, not very clear First, current students Middle school students usually go to school by themselves Some are brought by their mothers It’s very obvious, this is already a middle school student, this female classmate Some slightly older kids will go to school by themselves Like the boy who just passed by in front of us Of course, some are also taken to school by their mothers But elementary school kids are usually taken to school by family members Elementary school students couldn’t go to school by themselves In the country, in mainland China Our elementary schools implement the policy of attending nearby schools But there’s an issue like this Nearby. What does nearby mean? It means being assigned to a primary school close to home when you enroll. But often, families will purchase property. When classmates are six or seven years old and start primary school Maybe living nearby, but he went until sixth grade Perhaps the family moved, actually my own home was the same I moved after fifth grade 可能需要长途跋涉去上学 政府最初的意图是希望 父母不用那么辛苦地送孩子上学 或者由年长的爷爷奶奶接送 but in reality, there are many You can’t say others are exploiting legal loopholes In fact, this is permissible It means before he enrolls in elementary school He first purchases a property nearby, a school district house After purchasing the property, some time passed then sold it because the property price had risen or wanted to move to a better place to live usually the living conditions in school district houses are quite average After a period of time, the house was sold So the classmates who attended elementary school would live very far away They might need their parents to take them Born out of necessity, where there are many people, there will be an electric bicycle. Let’s not talk about whether they have the conditions first. Because in the city center, you can’t drive that far. Everyone has seen a few already But if it’s really too far Mom and Dad would drive him to school It gets a bit more complicated in middle school Because in middle school, you can attend any school within the same city Because you have to pass an exam to get in So usually we try our best… Unless you’re exceptionally good or really bad We generally try to attend nearby schools So some students start going to school on their own by middle school Of course, most middle schoolers go to school independently Even if parents want to accompany them They don’t want classmates to see it – it’d be embarrassing There are several methods First, like this female student in front Walk back by yourself The second one is incorrect, let me clarify first Like the one in front You can tell at a glance which school it is Riding an electric bike to school by themselves Actually, it’s not allowed—it’s illegal And not wearing helmets There are also some riding bicycles At this age, parents’ work will become increasingly busy It won’t be like elementary school when parents were still in junior positions When you reach a certain position in the company, you might get quite busy So the kids would go to school by themselves Students would welcome their academic year The second type is those who are very good at studying A very impressive classmate who stays up very late And goes to school very early in the morning Usually it’s more likely to be brought by parents If those in the middle are all going to school by themselves It’s more complicated Actually, to put it simply, only junior high school students would go to school alone This episode I’ll take you to see what the schools near my home are like The first one is formerly known as Guangzhou No. 21 Middle School It’s actually a very good school There’s also a group of football buddies around me All of them are from No. 21 Middle School Actually, because I myself… Because when I had just graduated from junior high school Sorry, correction I moved to where I live now when I graduated from elementary school My household registration is still at the old place, otherwise I would have gone to No. 21 Middle School Today I’ll take you to see Right now it’s early morning Not even 7:30 yet This is the morning scene at Baiyun Hotel The traffic is very busy And this spot is a great place for charging Ahead is the NIO battery swap station Many taxi drivers are charging at this location ahead It’s cheap so it’s always packed During the pandemic, I even tried charging here But… There weren’t as many cars back then And battery swapping too The Hong Kong public may not be very aware of what it is A battery swap station is for that pure electric vehicle The vehicle drives in and they will swap the battery for you It’s not cheap, these battery-swappable vehicles But it’s fast Because charging takes at least an hour But battery swapping only takes three minutes At this time, many students are starting school Elementary schools usually start later High school students definitely have it the hardest Because they might first Have to travel far away for school Because they won’t attend nearby schools anymore The second thing is They will indeed spend more time on studying Junior high school is actually a bit more relaxed Some students just aren’t particularly strong academically They take it a bit easier There’s also a well-known vocational school nearby called the Finance School They’re even more intense I’m talking about the past, when they got out earlier than my daughter’s kindergarten dismissal It seems like these few classmates in front are arriving at this time in the morning when things are already starting to get very busy 7:30 AM The Canton Fair has already ended Those traffic restrictions are no longer in effect But the road ahead is still very congested Usually I would take the car in front of Guangda Dental Clinic lol Back to the office There are many bicycles right in front here Because it’s near the subway station entrance Some shared bikes For example, the blue one represents Ant Group which is part of Alibaba The yellow one is Meituan And this one is quite interesting—why is there a trunk at the back? Actually it’s a power bank, those shared portable chargers Or as Hong Kong audiences would say Right in front is the subway station Today we’re not taking the subway, we’re walking To this spot right in front It’s the exit from Baiyun Hotel When you reach this point, you need to drive very carefully Because those classmates who come from far away for school Many parents drive their children to school They have to squeeze in when they get here Because the school is just ahead So we usually drive in the morning Try to avoid going this way But actually all routes are congested And there will be Didi cars This one might be a Didi car There will also be taxis There will also be private cars There will also be buses It’s very chaotic Many ride their own bikes to school Like that classmate ahead Some parents, as mentioned earlier Take them to school on an electric bicycle Not too far, actually this is a pretty good method Everyone is rushing to get to school When I was in junior high, I had to go to school even earlier Is this already open? It doesn’t open until 8 o’clock It’s not open yet A busy day begins Ahead is Guangzhou No. 21 Middle School The school uniform looks like this, I remember it used to be blue Maybe I remembered wrong Up ahead here There are many cars stuck here Because they’re about to drop off their kids For school here 就是这个 Some are private cars Some are Didi cars Extremely chaotic Some even stop for a while The police officer wouldn’t not approve it either Stopping for an hour is definitely not allowed Actually, everyone is just rushing against time You need to see the child actually enter the school before feeling at ease Of course, living conditions have improved. When we were kids, we never heard of parents driving their kids to school. No matter how well-off a family was, we never heard of such things Walking straight ahead is Guangzhou No. 21 Middle School A very beautiful school, but it has since changed its name Guangdong Experimental Yuexiu School The nearest subway station here is Taojin Station This area used to belong to Dongshan District It was considered one of the better middle schools in Dongshan District – No. 21 Middle School When we were kids, it was even further away For people like me, this was already quite far That is, living in Sanyuanli Going back to Jixiang Road or Qiyi Road for school But now it’s different Some might even go as far as Panyu Especially if the child is quite bright and gets into schools like No. 21 Middle School No matter how far it is, Dad will drive them to school What to do? Then you have to buy a car Actually, it’s not that easy to achieve Cars have indeed become much cheaper these days Even these cost just over 200,000 For even cheaper options, there are some at 88,000 It’s not very difficult or strenuous For nearby places, of course I’d ride an electric scooter. On this road, you’ll see many beautiful trees like these. I had already noticed this before I moved here. I moved to live nearby around 1992 I remember coming here once in 1988 At that time, I took the bus, probably route number 10 Seeing so many beautiful trees lining the streets How could there be such a place in Guangzhou All the way from the TV station to Quzhuang, it’s been like this It’s not as hot in summer These classmates, since their parents take them to school They would cook breakfast for them in the morning But there are always some things I can’t cook The more independent ones go to school by themselves Sometimes I would pass by and buy myself breakfast Or eat at school My daughter eats at school Sometimes she buys food outside If it’s late, she’ll buy food outside This is the price of their breakfast Actually not expensive If viewers come back to live here There are actually many hotel options We won’t focus on that today Behind the camera There are a few near the subway station For example, in front There are also a few there Everyone come back on time If you really live around here For breakfast, I highly recommend eating at the hotel The nearby area isn’t like those in Xiguan There are many very traditional tea houses Are there any tea houses? Yes For example, if you go up here to the 63rd floor, they’re all tea houses Everyone must have heard of the 63rd floor, right? There’s a Baiyue Building upstairs, and as far as I know, there’s another one but I can’t remember the name Xi’ai Xuan, I think that’s what it’s called This is the location of Guangzhou’s first McDonald’s I had already moved in to live here at that time I remember it was really popular back then It was roughly right in front of the camera at this position It has now been moved to the second floor This is from the hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel Go straight ahead, there’s a primary school in front Maybe the students haven’t arrived at school yet I’ll go have breakfast first And another thing is, try not to film too much at the elementary school entrance. Now that we’ve passed the school, everyone take a look. Aren’t there fewer cars here? No traffic jam The buses on the opposite side go to Tianhe. So actually, the traffic flow is quite heavy. Sometimes, for example, when I need to go out of town, I would take the road on the opposite side in the morning Because the places I usually go to are If heading east, you have to take the road on the opposite side My wife sometimes wakes up late and there will be traffic jams Speaking of dim sum, there’s a good place across the street Right in front of the camera I can’t remember what it’s called Xing Yue Restaurant, that’s right I’m planning to have breakfast here now This place should be called Metropolis Let me see if it’s still here Because this building… It’s gone Because the owner of this building may take it back for other uses The capital city has been open for many years For a period of time Mom and Dad pass by here and always buy food to take home The contract has expired It’s gone I’m going across the street, there’s another place over there Cross the street, and let me tell you what’s on the other side Can everyone see that yellow building across the street? It’s called Huanshi Middle Road Primary School This is an elementary school It’s relatively good in the neighborhood Facing Huanshi Middle Road Some school scenes are starting to appear Nowadays, it’s common to see parents riding electric bikes to drop their kids off at school because driving a car here is impossible It’s impractical to park if you drive Because Huanshi Road there is always super congested with traffic Across the street you’ll see a whole bunch of those electric scooters passing by like this As for whether there are safety hazards or if it’s illegal The most important thing is being able to get to school This street is next to an elementary school Actually there are many famous landmarks here The first one you’ll see when walking in is the Provincial Public Security Department Which is where we process our Hong Kong visa applications It used to be sent here for processing The second one is just ahead Keep going straight and you’ll reach Xiaobei That leads to Xinjiang Street Tiansheng Village, the Xinjiang cuisine is right there in front Or those African delicacies, Middle Eastern dishes They’re all on this street The road narrows, and scenes like this become more common Electric bicycle Some parents take their children to school It’s really tough But the police officers will be watching The police officer would say, “This is not right.” It might really be a very close classmate. Or perhaps his parents have already dropped him off across the street. Then he walks over by himself, but such cases are very rare And when I got to the elementary school gate, I didn’t go too close. There were more security guards. In fact, not just one, but two. There were even police officers, so I stopped recording Elementary school students start school later than middle school students There’s one more thing That generation of middle school students Also has fewer siblings with younger brothers or sisters Because at that time the two-child policy hadn’t been fully implemented yet Or some simply chose not to have children, like us But actually when they reach elementary school, there might be older brothers and sisters, younger brothers and sisters Because the two-child policy had already been fully implemented at that time Elementary school would start a bit later So there would be cases like this where The older brother would go to school by himself My younger sister is taken care of by mom Why were there fewer police officers at the school gate during junior high? Because… I’m just saying hypothetically If there really were some bad people doing bad things Junior high school students walk a bit faster High school students too But elementary school is more troublesome, with even more at kindergarten gates Elementary students need better care Let’s go ahead and have breakfast at Zhen Kung Fu This is already the Exit B of Xiaobei Subway Station If you want to go to the Xinjiang restaurant to eat It’s not at this exit, remember remember Right in front of Exit A It’s quite a long walk from here The last scenario is taking the bus But actually, this is becoming increasingly rare Taking the bus to school Because the timing can’t be confirmed But isn’t there none, there is some I plan to have breakfast here Kungfu starts serving breakfast at 7 o’clock Let’s see if there are really elementary school students eating here I wasn’t wrong earlier Mom came early, actually why did she specifically come a bit earlier Don’t want to get stuck in traffic, right? That’s how it is. As for me, I’ll just go in and have breakfast But also in a hurry What do they have for breakfast Go order food Those above are asking you to join the membership Is this the right shop? This one will do. Glutinous rice chicken and salted pork bone porridge combo Minced meat rice noodles with salted pork bone porridge Glutinous rice chicken and egg combo Everyone remember that price 7.9 yuan is actually not its regular price This is the price after joining the membership That is, the member price There’s also soy milk and big buns It’s 8.5 yuan without discount Actually it’s not that expensive I wanted to drink soy milk For example, these But I don’t want rice noodles And zongzi, the Dragon Boat Festival is coming soon Pork sausage For breakfast in the morning, there are rice noodle rolls 这个好 Minced meat rice noodles and salted bone porridge I actually wanted sticky rice chicken and soy milk But it’s too chaotic How did you have breakfast when you were kids in Guangzhou? I believe most of us had it at home. Or there was a period of time when we had something called “inter-class meal.” Some parents are too busy to have time to cook breakfast for their kids By around 10 o’clock at school there will be a breakfast served Usually before that, we would have breakfast once Times have changed now Some parents, even if they have time Would still let their kids eat at fast food restaurants My breakfast has arrived This right here is my breakfast But it was clearly written, I didn’t look carefully This is sticky rice chicken, because I wanted to eat sticky rice chicken But there’s a problem with the delivery… I picked it up myself, but they could also deliver it But I realized the glutinous rice chicken isn’t actually that big Should’ve ordered a zongzi instead It’s fine, only 10 yuan. What more could you ask for? Inside is like this. These are exactly what I often talk about. Steamed for too long, mushy and overcooked. Not sure if it is. You’ll know when you eat it And there’s a small piece of salted egg yolk inside Like this, after being steamed for a while The second one is the egg This egg has been shelled Shelled Plus a cup of soy milk Actually I was hoping to find some chilled soy milk But there wasn’t any, only hot soy milk Don’t ask for too much when it’s so cheap These are breakfast options cheaper than market fair food Eat the egg first Since when did breakfast become this affordable We really have to thank McDonald’s When McDonald’s had the 6-yuan breakfast deal Were you still in Guangzhou at that time? 6 yuan This is a tea egg, not a soy sauce egg But it’s very tasty Delicious Studying at a boarding school Of course I want to save some money Only had eggs for breakfast It’s indeed handled very well, this is good The soy milk is a bit sweet Not too much Today we’re here at Zhen Kung Fu Actually, when everyone comes back to Guangzhou for a visit in the future If you really can’t think of what to eat in the morning You woke up very early again Walking around, is Kungfu Restaurant acceptable? I’m not recommending everyone to eat at Kungfu But when you pass by, at least I’ve tried it once You’ll realize there are actually these breakfast options available It’s alright Not as bad as I imagined But if we’re talking about good, it definitely doesn’t qualify A bit of umami flavor The lotus leaf also has a fragrance And after all, it’s a big company, a large enterprise They wouldn’t dare to mess around Do you know the story behind Zhen Kung Fu? I won’t go into the lengthy details Those melodramatic plots Originally came from Dongguan, as far as I know It was previously called Twin Seeds, I think My university classmate from Dongguan came to Guangzhou He couldn’t decide what to eat, so he went to Double Seed I think it used to be called Double Seed before Or maybe it was called Thumbs Up, I can’t remember Focus on health Those meals won’t be too oily or salty Steamed rice is great in every way It tastes really good, just steamed for a bit too long There was a time when I worked at China Plaza and would often eat at Zhen Kung Fu Back then, my boss would also order meals from Zhen Kung Fu to eat His steamed rice is very healthy Try the salted egg yolk Luckily the sticky rice chicken wasn’t as bad as I imagined I’m full, what do you all think it looks like The value for money is very high, extremely high Because I only paid 10 yuan and I could have a breakfast As I mentioned to everyone before Even when eating out, it’s still this affordable Actually, you can find even cheaper options to eat Is budget living possible in Guangzhou? Of course it is After all, this is inside a fast food restaurant Still need to choose a set meal to eat For something cheaper, there are buns for 3 yuan 3 yuan is considered expensive This is what makes life in Guangzhou so good Big cities have these advantages Alright, enough talk, let’s keep moving forward We’re heading to Xiaobei To see another school called No. 17 Middle School No.17 Middle School was quite famous in the neighborhood back then but later it probably didn’t transition into a private school so it got overshadowed No.17 Middle School used to be very prestigious It’s not as impressive as it used to be But the school is still quite large And they are very good at playing football That’s the current impression of No.17 Middle School This is Zhaoqing Grand Hotel It used to be called Zhaoqing Building That’s right, all of this is Zhaoqing Building Now Zhaoqing Building, because it’s near the subway station Business has gotten much better, with many more Turkish restaurants. We came here last time. Almost wanted to buy it. But didn’t end up buying it Turns out it’s across the street The Xinjiang cuisine place Correction: It should be Exit D Not Exit A, my mistake earlier Exit A is over here Exit D is that way, go straight ahead Walk under that bridge and you’ll find the Xinjiang cuisine restaurant Come back and give it a try when you have the chance After my recommendation, several viewers have been there and couldn’t stop praising it. In fact, within the Greater Bay Area, when it comes to Xinjiang cuisine, this place is among the top. Let’s not just say among the top, it might actually be the best This is Exit A of Xiaobei Station on Line 5 There are escalators going up and down No. 17 Middle School is just a short walk from here There’s something I said wrong earlier Just now I mentioned getting in through junior high exams but that’s not entirely accurate There are actually two systems The first one allows examination admission During the exam, no matter what score you get Unless it’s extremely poor Otherwise, you’ll be assigned to that junior high school The designated primary school for enrollment Randomly select one from the pile for you The second scenario is if the child excels academically then they can take the exam There are also nearby classmates attending No. 17 Middle School here Those living nearby, including the grandson of the aunt downstairs from me I chatted with her earlier, she said it’s No. 17 Middle School There’s also a river channel near No. 17 Middle School It’s been beautifully renovated now This is the mountain spring water flowing down from Baiyun Mountain It travels all the way here as part of the Donghao Yong waterway To the left in front of the camera Actually comes from No.17 Middle School But you have to cross the intersection Turn left ahead There’s also a very famous kindergarten It should be called Guangzhou No.1 Kindergarten If I remember correctly Very prestigious, it’s public My daughter wanted to get into one of these before It’s almost impossible Very difficult Competing to go But now fewer people are having children These public schools are so competitive they’re fighting to get in No kids can get enrolled This one is slightly better Insufficient student enrollment After all, it’s considered relatively better Especially for kindergarten enrollment It definitely needs to be more nearby Elementary school being farther away doesn’t matter The kindergarten is too far, that won’t do So there’s this issue A bit further ahead is No.17 Middle School, right in front At this time of day, junior high students 8:14 AM, they should all be at school by now The rest are people starting to go to work As for kindergarten kids, they can go to school at whatever time they prefer Of course, don’t make it too outrageous Mom and Dad just took him to school like this There are more cases of driving to kindergarten This one is a bit of an exception Because it’s really good, many parents drive their kids to this kindergarten Why is it good? Let’s all guess. Just a few steps further is the No.17 Middle School. This place used to be If I remember correctly, it was an urban village Because I have a former colleague living here She also married into this place Her husband owns a house of that kind Of course, it’s not the American-style house It’s a village house Nowadays many have been converted into something like dormitories Or called converted public housing The elevator was installed later There are also some parents taking their kids to kindergarten You can hardly see middle school students going to school anymore Even if there are, they’re very few and far between It’s right up ahead here 如果我没记错的话 No. 17 High School used to be a girls’ school Was it called Guangdong Provincial Girls’ School or Guangzhou Municipal Girls’ School? Why did girls’ schools emerge in the first place? Because during the late Qing and early Republic era when public enlightenment had yet to take root providing education for women to gain knowledge actually required separate schooling arrangements Otherwise, some parents wouldn’t let them go to school. Of course, that was the old way of thinking. Now, of course, that’s not the case anymore. Nowadays, girls are much better at studying than boys Already at school but still seeing the security guard Even in middle school There are also many at the school gate Places selling food This is selling fresh milk, it’s fine Selling stationery Because sometimes The teacher assigned homework What if stationery is insufficient? Just make the long trip to buy some Or wait until going home? That won’t do These stationery shops can solve the problem As for this place in front of us, it’s Xiaobei Road Around here the most famous one should be the place in front of Beiyuan Restaurant, but it doesn’t serve tea Monday to Friday Only available on weekends for tea Or Yinji Rice Noodle Roll Having these for breakfast isn’t expensive Or even cheaper, just buy a loaf of bread The price index is really low in mainland China Unlike before, or the high price index outside Even a standard sandwich breakfast is considered expensive 15 元 After the kids go to school The busiest are the parents Some still have to go to work and rush back to the office It’s about that time now, some are still dropping kids off at school If it’s the grandparents taking them, after bringing the kids to school Just went to stroll in the park Across the street is Yuexiu Park There are many ways to have breakfast For example, these bakeries It only costs a few dollars The Capital Fast Food across the street Moved here, that one closed down Actually, Capital is quite good too Capital Fast Food is very crowded Founded in 2000 All are chain-operated Around here plus at this time There will definitely be fewer students coming for breakfast Usually it’s uncles and aunties who come in the morning Because more and more of these restaurants are becoming popular Not because it’s particularly cheap but because there’s air conditioning If you compare it to before having breakfast with me aren’t there a lot fewer classmates going to school Actually, there are three schools nearby in this area The first one is a bit further away, Guangzhou No. 2 Middle School If we’re talking about proximity, it’s actually right across the street ahead There’s also Xiaobei Road Primary School It’s a very good primary school And if you go further in There’s another room inside Normally at this hour, there are far fewer students going to school Going to school is always a rush You can be early, but never late Rushing off after work too Can be late but never early So going to school in the morning There will suddenly be a period when it’s especially crowded But once that time passes there’s no one left But the evening rush hour is different During the evening rush hour, the crowd size increases dramatically It will be much bigger As for Yingyuan Road ahead here I’ll walk over here to take the subway Take the subway at Memorial Hall Just now, the master mentioned here Another well-regarded school in Guangzhou is called Guangzhou No.2 Middle School There’s also a landmark known as Sanyuan Palace If you all wish to come back and pray for blessings Actually, there are several places in Guangzhou, three that I think Taoist The first one is Sanyuan Palace Another place we often go to is Renwei Temple There’s also one that requires going to Haizhu District I can’t remember what that one is called There are many trees But there’s some construction work going on ahead Really don’t know what kind of construction they’re doing So noisy It digs a hole underground A pillar can be installed down there Maybe they’ll build a railing here, I guess And there was a bucket we saw earlier The water bucket, haven’t seen one in a long time, right? Brother Hui would have seen it Turn in here and it feels much more comfortable This is Yingyuan Road Why is it called Yingyuan Road It was where scholars came to take imperial exams in the past “Yuan” means achieving scholarly honor “Yingyuan” means coming here to attain scholarly honors There are many communities with houses ranging from cheap to expensive Today I won’t talk much about property prices with everyone There are also many laundromats The laundromat from my previous company is still here But not this green one Besides the fast food restaurant we just had breakfast at There are also these options available This one is called Weiranxiang Those breakfasts are all very cheap There are noodles for 15 yuan Vegetarian options are also available Or this refreshing breakfast above Actually, they’re all priced at 9.9 yuan Includes noodle dishes and meat-based mains 4 beef meatballs Plus a marinated egg for just 9.9 yuan And you probably don’t need to join or buy any membership card The price index is lower in mainland China You can’t even find breakfast at such prices We’ve all eaten in Hong Kong before Everyone can see that, of course Hong Kong’s version is much more spectacular Sometimes do we really need it to be that spectacular? Probably not You can choose the cheaper option Just like what we saw earlier 10 yuan For a month, I’ll calculate based on the days you work and eat Eat for 20 days Actually, you don’t even need 200 yuan The cost of living is cheap, it’s really good to be back Groceries and such, how much could they possibly cost Let’s go check out Guangzhou No.2 High School up ahead It’s right there in front It is said that the examination venue is right here in front of us Of course, it wasn’t like this before It was renovated in later years I remember it should have been renovated a few years before the pandemic Hope I didn’t remember wrong … Guangzhou No.2 Middle School For a very, very long time it was the best middle school in Guangzhou Around me, Guangzhou is full of those talented people They all came from this school When I was in elementary school … There were one or two classmates in the class who were exceptionally good at studying They all managed to get admitted here But by now they’re no longer the best Definitely among the top few Among public ones, I’d say It should rank within the Top 3 And beyond Dongshankou area I think it should be considered number one Remember, it’s public … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … Please help share my video with your friends … See you next episode, bye-bye Bye Bye

Guangzhou Huanshi Road, a vital east-west thoroughfare in downtown Guangzhou, spans approximately 7.6 kilometers across Yuexiu and Tianhe districts. It is divided into three sections: Huanshi West Road, Huanshi Middle Road, and Huanshi East Road. Constructed in the 1950s to alleviate urban traffic pressure, it evolved into a commercial, financial, and diplomatic hub as the city expanded. The road hosts high-end office towers (e.g., Guangzhou World Trade Center), luxury hotels (e.g., The Garden Hotel, Baiyun Hotel), shopping malls (e.g., Friendship Store, POLY World Trading Center), and foreign consulates (South Korea, Japan). Cultural landmarks like Guangdong Radio and TV Tower and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra are also located here. Transport links include Metro Line 5 stations (Guangzhou Railway Station, Ouzhuang, Zoo) and connections to Guangzhou Railway Station, Inner Ring Road, and Airport Expressway. Blending modernity with historical sites (e.g., Overseas Chinese Village), Huanshi Road epitomizes Guangzhou’s post-reform urban development and remains a key area for business, retail, and tourism.
