  3. The Black Douglas took Robert the Bruceโ€™s heart with him on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem 1330 but stopped in southern Spain to fight with Alfonso XI against the Moors. He died fighting at the battle of Teba in Andalusia. There is a monument built for him there.
