There are also restaurants here Hainanese chicken rice for 17.9 yuan Lin Shun Kee Could this be a place for Chaoshan cuisine? Because the lower left corner looks like The first dish served is soy sauce chicken Very appealing The soy sauce was added later There’s a heating lamp underneath Eating these will give you an appetite It’s not too spicy Maybe they think we Cantonese people can’t handle spicy food Not too greasy A little oil is definitely needed But looking at the surface, there shouldn’t be a layer of oil Hello everyone, welcome to our show It’s afternoon again, today is Friday Today I arranged to meet my wife in Fangcun But today we’re not driving to Fangcun Taking the subway This is Fangcun Station Line 11 has just opened It is said that another new line will open at the end of next month. Made an appointment with my wife to meet at Line 11. Just now this was Line 1. If you’ve taken the subway in Fangcun before, you’d know Actually, this part in front The old bricks over there are the old wiring This side is new There’s also such a beautiful screen here Auntie is admiring No, it’s a beautiful lady But this station seems to have no distinctive features Because Guangzhou metro stations are supposed to have unique characteristics If any Hong Kong audience members don’t know Just think about how the Sung Wong Toi Station is There will be some artifacts displayed inside What’s special about Fangcun? Raising goldfish Does this count as I don’t think so Flowers, growing flowers, planting flowers, selling flowers Can’t see many here either There’s one ahead Why recommend this place to everyone Actually, you can buy tea leaves here So if you want to buy tea, you can come here Every time I look Fangcun Line 11 It should be said to be the subway route map of Line 11 There can be many stories to tell It is a return line We are here now It can be mounted like this Or move to the back We’ll go to Dachongkou later Shayong Not sure, but if you want to buy tea leaves Right here Shiweitang You can also go to Ruyifang I made an appointment with my wife to wait for her here Because it’s a newly opened route with many details They are all relatively new For example, it will indicate weak cooling or strong cooling Clearly stating which part of the carriage will be particularly cold Actually, the old Line 1 couldn’t achieve this That car is too old A new car would be fine If you’ve arranged to meet friends First thing first, you need to figure out where they’re coming from The second one, can everyone see there’s a light? Next to the number 4 it says Carriage 1 Then you can tell the person you’re waiting for I’m in Carriage 1, so when they get off they’ll know to walk towards the front 1 means it’s at the front Also inside the train carriage you can also see the livery of this train resembles a high-speed rail It’s said this train runs very fast But not as fast as Line 18 Waited for quite some time Turns out Line 11 has long intervals Everyone sees 8 and 16 That means there’s only one train every 8 minutes Entering the station here My wife is on the next train Still 7 minutes until it arrives She said she just got on the bus at Zhongshanba Like this It’s no big deal to wait a while While waiting, let’s chat with everyone Here’s the thing Everyone returning recently Or let me put it this way, don’t say ‘returning’ It’s essential to take good care of your health during this period Because of the novel coronavirus It’s getting worse and worse I wonder if it’s related to me turning on the air conditioner Including myself, actually I don’t have a fever, cold, or cough But I always feel short of breath Is it because I’m getting older or talking too much, I’m not sure Let’s not talk about me, but others Have you all seen the news Famous male singer Mr. Eason Chan is currently earning money by holding concerts but he also confirmed that he got infected Got infected, can’t hold concerts This has already been announced Including myself sometimes listening to the radio Some program hosts would say it themselves Saying a few more people are gone They need to go back and rest Why? Because of COVID Why are they particularly vulnerable? Because it’s an enclosed space Unlike us who at least can walk outdoors They keep talking in an enclosed space It’s actually really easy to get infected The air conditioner might be old or something Suddenly there’s only one person left Or they played music all afternoon They hemmed and hawed, afraid to speak Only found out by checking their social media—turns out they got infected again Some people spoke up, different from before It’s better not to mention it before So everyone must be careful when coming back If you do come back, wearing a mask would be better People like us who aren’t afraid of death can forget about it Too lazy to wear a mask, don’t want to scare people Still waiting for the bus If I have to wait for the third one, it’ll take 21 minutes The subway in Guangzhou is much more frequent I’m not trying to compare with Hong Kong I’m fast, you’re slow Because the Hong Kong East Rail Line was built during the Qing Dynasty Being slow is quite normal It’s not that fast, but still quite impressive Indeed, the Guangzhou Metro is faster Even Line 1 is But Line 11 is really slower I remember when Line 5 had just opened Taking Line 5 back to my mother-in-law’s place and to my own home We used to go back every week before When my daughter was little She needed her grandmother’s approval to grow up Now she doesn’t go back anymore At the beginning, there was only one bus every long while Because we were holding a baby that’s why people gave up their seats otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten one but now it’s different First, there are fewer people; second, the traffic is heavier. Unless it’s during the morning rush hour. Otherwise, there are basically seats available. I called my wife, and she said she’s at the back of the train I need to walk to the end of the train It would be more convenient with that number The platform is just so crowded Actually not that many A few days ago I went to Hong Kong and had never taken the MTR before I picked up my wife Let me tell you a story here Can everyone see all the decorative lights? These decorative lights usually come in several types The first type is these decorative lights The second is that regulations require the lights to be on There are also several types of advertising light boxes called public service advertisements Are the public service advertisements not lit up? Everyone remember Then turn to this side These are paid advertisements. These are the ones that paid. If you pay but don’t turn on the lights, you’ll get sued. Why is that? My wife and I have always had this question. How can they not turn on these lights? It’s not acceptable to pay but not turn on the lights I asked someone There was an intern when I worked before He went to work at an advertising company for Guangzhou Metro Responsible for issuing invoices So I asked him why The answer he gave me was this Let’s see if this is acceptable Because the light box gets too hot inside It would cause the entire station to heat up So these lights are kept off Do you know why? I asked someone Why aren’t the lights on? It’s too hot. Because it would make the station hotter. So the lights are off. Do you think this explanation makes sense? Energy conservation is also important Actually it’s a good thing, better than forcing it Forcing it won’t happen in Guangzhou, never has This is called cost reduction and efficiency improvement We’ve all noticed that inside the subway cars because there are indeed many routes Some routes go very far There are indeed many stations The density of subway staff is lower than before But sanitation must be done thoroughly We really should give a LIKE to Guangzhou Metro The work still needs to be done this way but with fewer people I don’t know if the wages have increased, these are none of my concern More and more metro lines are being opened Everyone has worked hard Especially during this time period, it’s still manageable It’s not yet off-work time, when it comes there won’t be any rest This route is comfortable, newly opened Not walking east or west Those are called the ox-horse lines What are oxen and horses? They mean wage workers Toiling like oxen and horses – that’s exactly what it means Does this go to Tianhe? I think it goes to Chebei or… Line 3 is the scariest Line 6 is the most ridiculous There are foreigners on Line 3. There are more foreigners now. He came to film the crowded conditions on Line 3. It’s very tough. Line 6 is the same. The train cars are very short Don’t think there’s no one now, it gets very crowded during closing time It’s normal that there’s no one now, it’s 4:30 This is the old route we’re taking Look how worn these tiles are, that’s normal Some subway lines, like Line 1 don’t even have escalators For example, Ximenkou Station where I often appear has sections without escalators going up The continuous heavy rain has finally stopped now Coming out here This is where Granny’s Beef Offal stall is Only the auntie is left plucking facial hair Plucking facial hair Going inside leads to Luju Road Coming here, I always take another look every time I pass by Supervising to check how the progress is going Just kidding The property prices here are expensive These buildings are from China Resources Where is it old? That probably can’t be demolished Right in front at this position Once you go past here it’s already Huangsha It just turned out like this These cost five to six million each, is that okay? Heng Li Wan Pan is a bit cheaper Heng Li Wan Pan is a more established brand A bit older These in front should already be on sale The property prices around here are like this For example, the Luju Road neighborhood 19,000 yuan Last time when we were filming some viewers mentioned that he used to live there in those old houses inside Now there are only eight second-hand houses left for sale That place is not bad Just over six hundred thousand, just over five hundred thousand This apartment, this has nothing to do with it These are irrelevant He probably clicked into this Look at it this way All of these… these are all apartments Just apartments, I see Misread West Residential Area, Luju Road It’s an apartment Then there probably aren’t many buildings for sale nearby There’s also a Hengliwan Peninsula Where is Hengliwan Peninsula There aren’t any Can’t see it on the mobile app It’s right there in front of us Fangcun is considered a more established residential area It’s already quite good Those with proper estate management Not like these old ones in front, converted from former dormitories In the past when we drove through here there would often be traffic jams It’s better at this time now because… No, this area has traffic restrictions anyway And this used to be a tram before The 106 has now become like this As we mentioned earlier Guangzhou is a relatively pragmatic city No money means no money There are many buses now have stopped operating No money Some cross-river ferry services have been suspended There are mixed opinions about this matter First of all This bus is for ordinary citizens The suspension is truly regrettable But another argument is that It’s just moving stools, no need to spend this money And there’s another thing So many subway lines have already opened For example For example, not many people go there There are several BRT routes outside Tianhe City I sometimes take it once or twice a year It’s really fast to take the BRT home from there Very fast, because there are no restrictions But the problem is it really makes the traffic in Tianhe increasingly worse. Opinions vary but talking about it is useless without money Many have stopped operating Another reason is that everyone is riding electric bikes That’s also one of the major reasons But on the other hand, driving cars has little impact on bus route operations It doesn’t have much effect There are many that will merge For example, this Bus No. 19 comes from Desheng Road It didn’t use to come here before There are many buses we used to take in the past Things I remember from childhood Where they go, like route number 27 and such Many of them have stopped operating For example, there’s a bus called Route 219 When I worked at the state-owned enterprise, I’d occasionally take it It passes through Kangwang Road It’s so refreshing once you get on It’s a bit like Hong Kong’s minibuses There are a few stops in the middle that are skipped directly before getting home So satisfying, it just stops These are the No. 15 routes I never used to come here before I’m not really sure Firstly, I rarely sit here Secondly… Because it changes frequently So I don’t remember Let’s not buy it today. Are we buying fruits today? If you want to buy, go in through here in front It’s Fangcun Central Market Actually, some rain would be nice It was very hot the past couple days It’s cooler today There are also restaurants here Hainanese chicken rice for 17.9 yuan Lin Shun Kee Could this be a place for Chaoshan cuisine? Because of this in the bottom left corner It looks like Chaoshan rice noodle rolls Beef rice noodle rolls, century egg and lean pork congee Just 16.9 yuan It’s normal that there’s no one around here And also Heat-clearing tea 6 yuan per cup Also bought a bottle of herbal tea This is dampness-removing tea Dampness-removing tea is definitely the right choice when in Guangzhou Because summers are always humid here This is one pack of 8 Still able to receive Entering the market again Let’s see how the market is at this time This is roasted pork belly We usually buy from this stall Now it’s as cheap as 18 yuan per catty This is really good And this one A few days ago I was in Tsuen Wan and saw that live chicken Of course everyone remembers, different breeds have different prices Anyway, it’s 50 yuan each here And it even includes gutting I saw it was 170 HKD in Tsuen Wan Converted, that’s about 160 yuan 150 RMB, just consider it as Here is 50 yuan I’ve also asked around Actually 170 isn’t expensive, in Hong Kong not in mainland China It must be more expensive in mainland China Qingyuan is even cheaper Not expensive compared to Hong Kong Isn’t that right? Tell me, audience If you’ve watched the Tsuen Wan episode After the rain, neighbors started coming out to buy groceries There are watermelons, buying watermelons now Not yet, maybe later Just haven’t bought it yet Wanted to buy it yesterday, things like these 3 yuan per jin We like to eat Black Beauty watermelons Selling loofah, I see it’s 2 yuan here I film an episode with only a general direction I don’t look up any information beforehand Later when naming it, I need to check some references Turns out it’s Tsuen Wan Market According to the data, the media reported The occupancy rate there, on the second floor is the lowest among all municipal markets in Hong Kong with over 50 vacant stalls At that time I saw it was indeed the case It’s still very lively downstairs The street shops and those Selling eggs and such But upstairs is really worse off, the part selling chickens As for this place, it’s actually where Guangzhou sells vegetables a cheap place so the difference can be huge actually, the things bought are pretty much the same Watermelon Still couldn’t resist buying a watermelon 11 yuan, but it’s very small If you have a car, you’d complain it’s too small If you don’t drive, you’ll complain it’s too big Summer has arrived, and water spinach is also available for sale 1.5 yuan per jin There are also many snack shops Just opened in the morning For example, this one Used to open every day Now closes by evening And there’s also some rapeseed These aren’t the most chaotic A few days ago in Hong Kong, it was 18 yuan per catty Here it’s 2 yuan The ones in Hong Kong are prettier than these But the prices are 18 yuan and 2 yuan It’s right to spend money where you earn it Selling at such a high price is justified But indeed I’ve also seen the news Going up to Shenzhen from Tsuen Wan to buy groceries Of course it’s not as convenient as in the Northern District Actually, it’s not that inconvenient either I knew it after going there once It’s just a short ride away Going up to Shenzhen to buy groceries, in Tsuen Wan Are there any audience members living in Tsuen Wan who do this? Going to Shenzhen to buy groceries Comparing prices between the two places It’s actually quite an interesting thing to do If you haven’t seen that episode of the video, you can check it out For example, the photographic paper we bought That photographic paper had to be shipped from Japan It’s definitely cheaper in Hong Kong, no question about it We’ll calculate it more carefully later It’s like buy two boxes get one free at the price in mainland China That day I spent…after discount it was 90 HKD per box I calculated the 10% discount as 80 RMB per box 240 yuan, but if it were in mainland China It’s 130 yuan per box in RMB Everyone can do the math The price of two boxes still can’t match one These things must be cheaper in Hong Kong And there’s the famous Auntie Fei’s rice dumplings that everyone often talks about, right here. There’s a stall right in front here. This is at the Huadi Street dispersal point here. This place is called Huadi Street Since the rent for these shops is cheap, naturally the prices won’t be high. Finally found mangoes for sale, must buy some for my daughter. Pork loin mangoes, five dollars for two catties. What else is cheap here? Hong Kong is really affordable, durians 18 yuan…not sure if it’s per pound or per half kilogram Either way it’s a win, it’s cheaper than Guangzhou This is Auntie Fei’s Zongzi Salted egg yolk meat zongzi, 10 for four pieces The factory is right ahead, I’ve said it many times Every time I would say it The factory is right ahead Just go straight along this direction Just go out towards Huanhua Road, it should be That is, near the Trust-Mart It’s also a great place to buy groceries Cheap Now we’ve come to another market Actually, the two markets are connected together This place is called Lily Garden Market There’s an indoor section, and here is the outdoor section Both are selling fruits But there are more pastries sold here Both Chinese-style and Western-style are available Also, everyone take a look here again So that’s why I saw this price in Tsuen Wan at that time I also thought it shouldn’t be right but later I saw it was true Mainland also has this price Looking back at the records, the boss said it himself It seems to be purchase-restricted Can’t let someone buy them all at once Also, it has to be… He said there’s a daily limit Purchases are all subject to quantity limits Then he said just those eggs alone were losing six to seven thousand yuan a day Is that really true There used to be people buying vegetables too Also paying attention to vegetable prices In most parts of mainland China, they are actually the same They sell whole cakes. Some buy by the piece. If there are many people at home, they would buy a whole cake to take back. Easy to carry But if there are few people For example, migrant workers coming from other provinces It’s rare to finish eating it all Even eating one a day would take a month to finish How much is one cake here? It’s twenty yuan per cake Now we’re going to have dinner Having dinner in Fangcun won’t be expensive at all One of them, we recommend this Fatty Lam First of all, it’s not wild What does it serve? There’s donkey meat In the past, Fangcun had many places serving donkey meat There’s less now But it’s still there There should be some in winter now But fewer people eat it Besides donkey meat, they also have chicken dishes It’s not just these foods White-cut chicken is 68 yuan for one Roast chicken is 68 yuan for one, and it’s very big Fermented black bean goose is also available for 48 yuan Braised pigeon for 28 yuan It’s a good deal here If we were driving, we would park the car here Then went to buy groceries Didn’t drive today Besides donkey meat, there’s also fish of course Reservoir bighead carp These are all cooked in one pot They eat hot pot Pot by pot, donkey meat slices hot pot Just like cooking beef Lamb bone hotpot – I think we’ve had lamb bone hotpot before Wenchang chicken It’s been open for a long time It was also open during the pandemic Not back to work yet Or this one is 32 yuan What 4300? The wife is talking about this salary Over four thousand yuan The department head also gets five thousand yuan That’s how it is The boss is always present here There are many things that don’t require the minister to handle The minister just needs to manage the people below Moreover, with the boss around, you don’t have to worry about collecting money or anything So the salary is a bit lower If there are some positions with more responsibilities Of course they pay more money There’s also a bunch of restaurants across the street Hunan cuisine Hunan cuisine This is Sichuan cuisine Wanzhou is in Chongqing We all talk about Sichuan cuisine There are all kinds, many late-night snack stalls But they’re all from out of town There seems to be one that serves claypot porridge It’s the style from the Chaoshan region They even have pork offal porridge There are several Teochew claypot porridge places There are two claypot porridge shops And also a pork offal porridge There’s also a cat that went to the middle of the road It can’t come over But don’t worry, these are very alert So alert that as soon as you’re about to take out food, it comes over It says, let’s see what good food there is See if there’s any It says it’s very hungry Of course it will eat these Not necessarily, some cats don’t eat it Some cats don’t eat cat sticks? That’s right These are owned cats, not strays Just a bit thinner though Kitty It remembered there was a pile of cat food here originally Not eating cat treats? It sniffed first, then ate Very clever It doesn’t want to eat from my hand It insists on eating like this by itself It wants to lick it by itself It’s not the greedy type either Or call friends over It took a glance Really enjoys eating, yes Seems to still really enjoy eating She also ate those, but there were a bit of ants But she just wouldn’t eat the ones you squeezed out over there She would only eat after putting it down Then she slowly ate it over there Very happy But this neighborhood only has this one Behind it is a grassy field Probably a shop’s pet cat A clipped ear means it’s been neutered It’s probably not a house cat, more likely a stray Or a cat that’s been hanging around the area If it were a house cat that got neutered, they wouldn’t have its ear clipped It’s a stray cat There’s another one inside A yellow cat Demolished one house after another It’s turned into a grassy field – Shengyuan Restaurant Trees have been planted I really can’t understand Can’t understand why they planted trees here Subway station? Didn’t go that far back Really don’t know Wouldn’t it be nice to have rentals there? Luju Road area has already been demolished Where is the late-night clay pot restaurant I don’t know either, it’s been demolished like this It seems to be over there We’re now heading to the front, Hongmian Court Where to eat Wen Qifu Wen Qifu I like coming to Fangcun because there are many old memories But they are disappearing here For example, the Dongbaihua Bay across the street Directly opposite Previously, the business had to close due to poor performance But later, it was reopened That’s how this era is Maybe the contract expired and wasn’t renewed at the time Later thought about it and renewed since it couldn’t be rented out We’ve also come here to film videos before Then all the neighbors came to shop We’ve also filmed it Something about Dongbai Huadiwan, something about farewell Something about bidding farewell to Fangcun Finally started doing it all over again Really, it’s too funny Those department stores Probably really can’t be rented out So we called him back to continue working Actually during the pandemic, in the first wave The urban areas had already started to get it under control But Fangcun suddenly became very severe again At that time the entire Fangcun area was sealed off It caused great inconvenience to many people The memory is still vivid to this day Which wave of the pandemic was that considered to be If we count the first wave, which wave are we in now? But now we don’t even count which wave it is. Actually, I believe this disease, the novel coronavirus, will accompany humanity For a long time It should be, I think If not, for example, having immunity There wouldn’t be, actually not It’s gradually subsiding, starting over It’s just that there aren’t as many unknowns as there were back then And everyone knows to wear masks Fangcun has lots of delicious food, let’s keep going There’s food here too, this is for eating pizza. Ahead is Wen Qifu. Kids’ favorite, durian pizza. Next to it is the pet store Dongbai Department Store Dongbai Huadiwan Department Store A bit further ahead is Sweet Garden Desserts Also quite good It used to be on Luju Road, then moved here after the demolition You should come back and try it sometime Their ginger stewed pig trotters are also quite good Let’s come here tonight Wen Qifu Restaurant They serve nostalgic dishes here Things like these The 99 yuan set meal, let’s just go with this one Half a soy sauce chicken Choose one from each side 99 yuan is still a good deal You want six dishes for 99 yuan? How is that possible Ridiculous Even so, 99 yuan is still a great deal The opening time starts relatively early Customers gradually start coming in Those who get off work obviously won’t come that early also neighbors from nearby Now vegetables are being sold in Hong Kong bloodbath but the catering industry in Guangzhou is highly competitive These are only available with group purchase meals We’ve decided to go with the group purchase meal But as for which specific one Let’s take a look first There are appetizers Let’s not talk about the appetizers Choose one out of four Crispy roasted pork, clearly stated to have ten pieces Or maybe char siu Or perhaps… This is a four-choose-one But there are only two varieties And nostalgic classics Clam meat patty Five willow eggs Shredded Chicken with Egg Whites Crispy Rice with Tangerine Peel Pork I can finally understand it clearly The font is so small, how can uncle read this I’m already struggling Skip Meal for four The twin treasure combo for two should be the one just mentioned Double Delight, this is how it is Soy Sauce Chicken with Rose Flavor Braised Spring Chicken Roast Pork Yellow croaker Goose feet and wings And also Magang goose Choose one from here Not that many options to choose from Or perhaps Just choose B Pepper ginger egg with fish maw – never heard of it Preserved meat vermicelli pot Taishan Cauliflower with Cured Meat And also Twisted Pepper with Pickled Vegetables and Local Pork Steamed Loofah with Golden Garlic and Whitebait And Braised Spring Vegetables There’s also a black fish fillet That’s how it is Tea is not included Which means tea charge is separate I understand Actually, it doesn’t matter There’s still morning tea 80 yuan With so many options, I won’t read them slowly Actually can’t see these words Or a meal for six There’s so much food Okay See what to eat – a meal for two Mostly combo meals for two Fangcun offers great value – this bag of mangoes Not for eating now, 5.6 yuan Impressive Besides group-buying deals, there’s also à la carte There’s no reason not to have à la carte options. What can be ordered à la carte? For example, roasted goose for 88 yuan. Squab for 58 yuan. Soy sauce chicken for 88 yuan And this Sun Char Siu, Ming-style roasted Honey-glazed Sun Char Siu Probably stuffed with salted egg yolk in the middle, I guess Their roasted pork is also quite good There’s a lot of food, and it’s written as being very good This is crispy rice crust with tangerine peel pork That’s how it is This was posted by my eldest cousin sister, who’s in Hong Kong It was shared in our own family group chat News from Channel 01 Everyone needs to wear masks Really This is no joking matter But the weather is getting hotter It would actually slow down a bit Nationwide resurgence of COVID-19 cases Positivity rate higher in southern regions than northern ones Guangdong reported 23,000 cases on April 6th (recorded cases) Reading the Hong Kong news, it mentioned two gentlemen who came to the hospital as patients and tested with slight positive reactions At the time, there was speculation about whether it could be reagent contamination No reason, it was about a month ago Now it seems, not really Seniors must wear masks properly Tell a story This restaurant is called Wen Qifu Who exactly is Wen Qifu Is there any connection with Qifu New Village Is there any connection with Qifu New Village? I don’t know It turns out Mr. Wen Qifu had already been managing Guangzhou Restaurant since 1984 rising to the position of Chairman and retired in 2008 Started this place right after retirement It began in 1984 We were just 4 years old at that time Then we started taking charge of Guangzhou Restaurant To elevate Guangzhou Restaurant to such heights is truly not easy Besides excelling in taste you also need to keep up with service standards At that time, we also had to receive foreign guests. It wasn’t just about the taste being acceptable. They were from Shunde. There are also a few nearby at home It’s been renovated so beautifully now One of the main purposes is for wedding banquets They are very restrained in opening new stores To my knowledge, they won’t bring in much capital either It must be available all the way to the northeast, not that kind Very few Especially since he’s a Shunde native He would be even less likely to do this I’d rather have tourists come here Even if it’s just tourist food, it’s better than expanding to other provinces There are several types The first dish served is soy sauce chicken, very appealing The soy sauce was added later There’s a lamp lit below, very nice The second dish served is stir-fried beef hor fun The sesame seeds are sprinkled beautifully Just right I originally wanted to wait for it to heat up a bit more But the wife was impatient and tried a piece Very beautiful, very smooth Crispy skin Then let’s not wait, dip it in some soy sauce Didn’t choose wrong, of course Just now I was considering soy sauce chicken and braised duck Definitely soy sauce chicken How can you not eat chicken in Guangzhou If you’re afraid of undercooked chicken These are fully cooked Soy sauce chicken is usually fully cooked The skin is very crispy This is a group buy meal for half portion Very crispy The second one is rose liquor We usually call it soy sauce Add some rose wine That’s what makes the soy sauce fragrant Delicious If you’re visiting Fangcun for sightseeing and want to find a decent restaurant, this one should be good This is sauerkraut fish My wife thought it was stir-fried fish This is one portion from the set meal The stir-fried beef hor fun is not included I’ll keep eating chicken Try this piece That’s fine Not too salty “Not too salty” means what exactly The heat control is just right And the chicken breed isn’t bad either The bones are firm enough Especially after being soaked in the soy sauce below or after being soaked in rose wine like Yangsheng chicken breed starts to warm slightly because if the chicken breed isn’t good for soy sauce chicken Very poor What does the wife mean? The skin of soy sauce chicken is prone to shrinkage The most particular thing is the skin, there are several ways to prepare it Or pan-fry it in a wok Where is the best place to eat it? Xiangqun Soy Sauce Chicken Half a portion at Xiang Qun is still just half But Xiang Qun charges 88 yuan No, it’s 68 yuan Over 60 yuan is still a good deal Needed Chicken again If buying chicken in Hong Kong, it’s 170 HKD Always remember Live chickens 170 yuan each This one is 50 yuan each, three times the price And I’ve asked around, 170 yuan is considered cheap This one gets more flavorful the more you eat After being soaked in rose wine because that rose wine is actually soy sauce There’s a lamp heating underneath I dare not say for sure Mr. Wen came up with this idea But indeed Using a clay pot to keep the chicken warm is quite bold Continuous heating will make the chicken tough It takes a lot of courage to do something like this I estimate that we might eventually receive foreign guests Not sure if that’s the case The chicken dripping blood scared away the foreign guests Other provinces couldn’t withstand it either There might be these reasons Because usually these big restaurants serve fully cooked dishes Very satisfied Next, let’s try this one Stir-fried beef hor fun The beef should be tenderloin More finely chopped Stir-fried beef hor fun is also a dish that tests a kitchen’s skills With wok hei, like the charred aroma of pan-fried noodles That feeling, that fragrance It’s intense, like a burnt sensation lingering afterward Try this, the beef pieces are huge And it’s not the kind marinated with lots of seasoning powder Reasonable And it’s not too greasy, which I like Coming to this Sauerkraut fish It clearly states that black fish is used Eating these will give you an appetite Not too spicy Probably you can tell at a glance that we Cantonese people can’t handle spicy food Not too greasy A little oil is definitely needed But looking at the surface, it doesn’t have that layer of oil These are made by Cantonese chefs These are good to eat in summer Not bad either There’s also the aroma of sour fish soup That oil The moment it hits Releases the flavor Sour and spicy The pickled vegetables are also well-prepared, crisp and refreshing The boss is from Shunde The dishes are also very light You can taste the original flavor of the food, same with the stir-fried beef noodles No need to pair with white rice Normally these would require white rice to go down, but it’s great Good service They also change the bone plates I think this meal costs 150 yuan The additional dishes should cost around 50 yuan in total I’d say around 120-130 yuan That’s all the dishes we have Two or three people can come together Actually, there are set meals available The competition is fierce There isn’t one left across the street The restaurant across the street is gone, Sheng Yuan has closed down The most satisfying dish is the soy sauce chicken Drizzled with soy sauce This piece is delicious This piece is very delicious Heated from below, the skin is also crispy The wife is very satisfied with the stir-fried beef hor fun There’s a bit of a barbecue flavor That charred aroma Only when the stir-fried beef hor fun has that smoky barbecue taste does it have proper wok hei Can’t be oily The final bill comes to this amount 99 yuan, but I actually only paid 95 yuan Which means a 5-yuan discount 156 yuan This is a Meituan discount Not the restaurant’s 5-yuan discount Super nice This area is considered relatively good The taste is quite nice and the seating is comfortable Of course the set meal offers good value for money The individual prices aren’t exactly cheap Of course the group purchase meal is more cost-effective Fangcun has always followed the affordable and good-value route The taste is quite good Very satisfied with the soy sauce chicken And that stir-fried beef hor fun She was very satisfied with the stir-fried beef hor fun Delicious stir-fried beef hor fun With a charred aroma The subway is quite convenient Next we’ll take the subway home Just take it to Zhongshanba Station up ahead Yes, very convenient There’s no reason not to talk about property prices Fangcun is where we’d choose if we must buy property in Guangzhou Currently don’t have the capability to do so But if we could, we would choose Fangcun It seems this whole area is called Huadi City That’s where we just fed the cats There’s a Walmart downstairs and Zhongshi Market next to it Guess how much it costs This price is actually reasonable Now it’s 37,600 yuan For example, like these Over 3 million 3.4 million The most expensive reaches 4 million Very good, 4.78 million These would be great if the orientation is favorable You can see fireworks at home Last time we watched fireworks, we walked a bit further ahead there Fireworks happen once a year After dinner, we can take a walk Walk straight ahead in front of the camera It’s from the riverside Or you can go that way too Very convenient to get to the market You can come down to buy groceries when it’s time to eat If you don’t want to cook, you can also come down to the restaurant to eat Parking is also cheap Parking here is very cost-effective, and you can play with cats too This cat is shy The cat hiding under the car Cheap parking There are those 500 yuan mother-child parking spaces nearby Correction, 900 yuan At Wong Tai Sin, just turn left ahead Actually it’s not very far I believe these won’t be expensive These used to cost just over two thousand When they were first put up for sale Our company’s colleague bought this place It’s a great deal, just 2000 yuan Sold the old house on Xihua Road Moved here to live Living near South China Agricultural University, a bit further away Working on Datong Road, of course this place is much closer Because there’s Metro Line 1 It’s convenient for commuting, so I bought this place When will South China Agricultural University have a metro? Now How long has this subway been here? This is the first line So he bought this place in Fangcun and didn’t live near South China Agricultural University There’s a gas station just a bit further away Actually, there aren’t any problems No leaks or anything like that Refueling is also convenient There’s a charging station across the street We used to love charging here Back when there weren’t many charging spots Gas prices have dropped a lot recently Take a look at the front, there’s still no discount 7.12 yuan, it was almost 8 yuan some time ago, for the cheapest one #92 Most people are filling up with #92 It’s become much cheaper during this period Because oil prices have dropped After a 7.12 discount, it’s estimated to cost less than 7 yuan It doesn’t feel too crowded to live in How much is the gas price here? The #98 one is more expensive 1.2 yuan, no discount I remember there was some here We went to Wen Qifu for dinner. If we didn’t go to Wen Qifu we could also consider this place Actually it’s just above, Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank the Cuicheng Restaurant upstairs Either way is fine, the subway station is just ahead Straight ahead, go down to the subway station Extremely convenient I previously made a video about this It’s not what I said It’s what the United Nations said – the most livable city in Asia, not number one What’s Guangzhou’s ranking? Ranked first? This is based on… according to the United Nations Based on climate, healthcare, and education And the price index, this point is very important It’s not randomly evaluated, it’s well-grounded This is how it was evaluated That’s right, for example, Shenzhen’s price index definitely isn’t as low as Guangzhou’s Education should be about the same as Guangzhou But healthcare isn’t as good as the provincial capital’s Too new So this is one benefit of living in Guangzhou Asia’s most livable city – no joke And warmth is also very important We’re afraid of heat, but actually cold is worse than heat When it’s hot, I can turn on the air conditioning But when it’s cold, especially extremely cold You can’t even step outside the door If it’s winter, during the northern winter You were about to go home, but if you can’t make it back, then don’t bother I can still stay at this late-night food stall, it’s unbearably hot I drink a bottle of soda, and I can still handle it Talking about two extremes, heat and cold, the cold is much more difficult to endure Uninhabitable Now these are only selling for just over three million Over three million can buy you a hundred square meters in Guangzhou Very convenient Go down here to take the subway There’s also a food court downstairs The underground mall connects directly to the subway station This is Fangcun’s underground shopping mall Not as popular as before About ten years ago This place was the most popular Very popular Because back then you had to buy clothes from outside The physical store’s business is good Now it’s just a little bit short Before, even restaurants couldn’t open here You can hear the sound of the subway passing by This is the oldest one There’s a reason why China’s table tennis level is so high Even walking through the mall, they’re playing table tennis Younger sister is studying You’ll be an Olympic champion in the future Keep walking towards the subway station There will be more restaurants and greater foot traffic There’s Maxim’s and McDonald’s over there We had this last time too It was also great when we watched the fireworks that day High cost performance Kimchi pork rice bowl, 25 yuan per bowl Or curry rice for over 20 yuan, eel rice is a good deal Over 40 yuan, some are 39 yuan Better than eating at a sushi restaurant The eel we had at that sushi restaurant last time wasn’t as good as here Not as nice as here, of course The eel we had last time was sliced too thin This one is fatty enough These spicy noodles are perfect for one Just trying to solve dinner alone Especially with that saying, it’s summer now And they even give free drinks Spend over 30 yuan

Guangzhou Metro Line 11 is the city’s first loop line, spanning approximately 43.2 kilometers with 32 stations (including 19 transfer stations). It traverses Tianhe, Yuexiu, Liwan, Baiyun, and Haizhu districts, connecting major transportation hubs such as Guangzhou Railway Station, Guangzhou East Railway Station, and Guangzhou South Railway Station, as well as multiple commercial centers, earning it the nickname “Urban Loop Line.” Construction began in 2016, featuring fully automated driverless technology. The line faces engineering challenges due to complex geological conditions and dense urban areas along certain sections. Scheduled for full completion in 2024, it operates at a maximum speed of 80 km/h with 8-car Type A trains. Projected daily ridership exceeds one million passengers, significantly enhancing Guangzhou’s rail network connectivity, alleviating downtown traffic congestion, and boosting urban renewal and economic development along its route. It is a key project in Guangzhou’s 14th Five-Year Plan for transportation.
