um my coworker he did an interview oh yeah yeah i’ve been to Thailand just before this oh wait oh J no yeah thailand and then what about in Japan in Japan we’ve been Kyoto and Osaka as well okay you it similar to Oh no it’s not like massive it’s not massive mother’s Day is probably more massive yeah it’s you get flowers yeah flowers little present but you just get a card and just like I know so we’ll be having meat and veggies and we’re going to be cooking it all of it in here and there’s going to be a pot later and you’ll have the raw eggs you can whisk it you dip everything in raw egg and you eat it oh yummy is there usually is that like common to have with raw egg only in the sukiyaki okay yeah but there’s like two different kind of sukiyaki the way they make it they make it in like a shallow pot with soy sauce and sugar they have one that’s already been everything has been mixed and you just pour the liquid in and you cook okay yeah there’s two ways we’ll just take a picture first and then we’ll It’s amazing well I love ginger i know i just love eating ginger on it yeah on its own you don’t eat it together with the sushi though in Japan you don’t no you don’t okay that’s good then you eat it so you eat sushi and then as a palette cleanser you eat ginger i’ve been doing that so wrong this whole time wow okay where do we even start you can take one chopstick out and I’ll There you go oh there we go they give us Yeah you can you can take a guess squid no is it not squid it’s not squid that’s tuna that’s red tuna yeah so this is this is medium fatty tuna and this is the red meat of tuna flounder oh never had salmon you can use your hands you know easier and then when you I’m like terrified to show you guys how much so when you eat sushi what you can do is maybe I’ll show you maybe we’ll eat the same thing maybe we’ll start off with lavender okay so you can tilt it and then put it on the side you can So is it normal to use your hands to eat sushi really only sushi and then you can dip the fish side and you put the fish side on your tongue okay wow it’s such It’s a whole process sushi yeah okay gosh it’s like drowned in soy sauce one bite there you go that’s so good good there is on it but like oh my gosh that is delicious that’s not what I was expecting flender to taste like it’s just like that’s the first time I’ve actually liked wasabi something literally it’s delicious that’s good yeah that’s good yum i guess you can take this you can take an extra one fatty tuna yeah the fatty tuna we doing that now yeah go ahead everyone says that the stuff like just melts in your mouth nothing okay oh I can’t flip it it does melt in your mouth that’s nice it’s like what they say melt in your mouth i didn’t believe them oh it’s so good i literally know what I would like tuna if it’s not the way I have it in Scotland like honestly like you will never find sushi this good i’ve only been having like 7-Eleven sushi or like bad sushi from back home this is like better a whole new ball game mhm it’s like sour yes this one’s more sour like this one’s got more fat so that’s why it’s more buttery this one’s more meat go ahead [Music] mhm that’s my favorite one have like all like beans on toast not quite the same level no not at all there were only one order in it so we ordered enough okay okay how often in general do people eat Wagyu here cuz obviously Is it It’s a Wagyu sushi wagyu sushi how often in general do people eat Wagyu here cuz obviously it’s like an expensive very expensive so I would say if you have a family maybe once a month it’s more than that actually i mean not like you don’t go to like a high-end place you know like a kurushi like a like a familyfriendly price somewhere around that range okay how would we do this i mean who whoever wants to eat first go ahead we’ll do one by one even top of that you can go it’s such a big slice of meat yeah i don’t think you can do one bite on this so we can like go one more maybe you can wrap it wrap the rice with it wait you can use your hands yeah like a burrito wagyu burrito wagyu burrito nice i don’t think one bite’s going to fit good oh my god that is really good good does it like melt in your mouth no it’s just like it’s like the flavor oh my gosh that’s delicious that is so good that over the fish sushi it’s like the That was like medium fatty tuna but then the meat scrambled you name it they’re normally cooked this is a bite-sized pork okay this is uh roast beef and this is apple and tofu oh this this stuff is tofu okay and then the greens are spinach ooh and then there’s apple on the side oh nice [Music] so hondo in Japanese it means temperature okay that’s why it’s got that circle on the side and what they do is they age it for one year under subzero temperature yeah and I think they age it between -2 to -4 for one year wow okay for one year for one year yeah they use different kind of uh rice they use rice from uh Kyoto okay it’s called Yamadanishki it’s a famous Japanese rice okay and they use that to make this rice wine interesting yeah and the flavor profile is more like pear and apple kind of scent that sounds okay that sounds [Music] The left side is sirloin the right side is rum meat okay i you can whisk the eggs okay okay you have to go anyways can I just go for it yeah you can pull the plate up and then and like the whole piece at once no you don’t have to yeah that was so good oh my god beef has never tasted this good oh my gosh can you try it it’s so good oh my gosh and the raw egg actually just really like tartar a lot oh you did and yet it’s got raw egg on it then you’re then you’re good so good it does like melt in your mouth it does oh it smells like pear smells like pear yeah I know that that’s juice okay I really like that that’s really You can taste actually the flavor in it that is so good i was a bit scared not going to lie i was a bit scared but that’s actually really tastes like it’s kind of like white wine yeah like a dry white wine better than white honestly kind of fruity too a bit sweet yeah that’s good 10 out of 10 10 out of 10 10 out of 10 that is good 10 out of 10 okay i like sake that’s good i guess when you drink your first like sake or like anything you got to have a good stuff you don’t want to start off with like bad stuff and hate it there you go and then you just have that like a good first try you’re haunted by the first time yeah you want something better and better and better it’ be hard to beat mhm that’s how you get to the bougie life [Music] good got more liquid okay it’s a different broth okay yeah there’s a lot of different broth like chicken broth um there’s pork broth this is mostly soy sauce and um sugar [Music] [Music] [Music] no
