モロッコってウザいらしいけどさ。。治安、物価、料理、観光スポット in 迷宮都市フェス (世界一周中)

The three most annoying countries in the world. Thank you. I just bought it. The first road with a local feel. Hello hello. The top is super cute. It was given to me as a bonus. The way the ball walks. There is a shameless cat that drinks it like beer . Wow. It’s a tajine pot. Anpanman! It’s amazing. Is this shampoo? Natural shampoo. Is it okay? I got some beans. For locals… Japanese. There are cats too. I’m impressed. Is it a perm? A child who likes anime. Oops, it’s not tasty at all. It’s 20 delham. I’ll try it. There’s a donkey, a lively child! It’s a kitten that gets food, is it okay? Don’t get angry, grandpa. Let’s all move in together. Welcome to Fes city! Oh, they’ll take me there. (Morocco) (What’s wrong with being annoying?) Good morning everyone. I’m currently at the airport in Barcelona, Spain. And this time, it’s the Morocco edition, and in an hour and a half I ‘m leaving Barcelona for the labyrinth city of Fes in Morocco. If you watched my trip to Barcelona in the previous video, you’ll understand, but it was a fulfilling five days. It was a great trip. This time I’m going to Morocco, my first time in Africa! So, since I’m going to Morocco this time, I’ll give you some basic information about Morocco. Morocco’s official name is the “Kingdom of Morocco”. It is an Islamic country located in northern Africa, with Algeria to the east and Spain across the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Tarte to the north. It has an area of about 446,000 square kilometers. It seems to be about 1.2 times the size of Japan. It has a population of 37.37 million, and its capital is Rabat. It seems that 65% of the ethnic groups are Arabs and the remaining 30% are Berbers. I looked into it carefully, and it turns out that Arabs use Arabic and have Arab culture. On the other hand, Berbers are the indigenous people of North Africa and speak Berber. The assimilation of Berbers and Arabs progressed due to the Islamic invasion after the 7th century. Even today, the Berbers maintain their own culture, and there are occasional ethnic movements that claim independence from the Arabs. Arabic and Berber are the official languages, and since it was originally a colony, many people can speak French fluently. Since French is the second language, it seems that tourists who speak French can easily travel to Morocco. As for religion, Islam is the state religion and most people are Sunni. The currency used is the Moroccan dirham, and currently, in late February 2025, 1 dirham is 15 yen. The time difference with Japan is about 8 hours behind. However, the time difference will change to 9 hours during Ramadan. I actually noticed this a few days ago, but the date is still unknown depending on the condition of the new moon, but Ramadan is scheduled to start on the 28th of April. So, during this period when I am filming now, it may not be relevant to the video, but it will be 9 hours behind Japan. The main industries are agriculture, fisheries, industry, mining, and tourism. As for the climate, northern Morocco has a Mediterranean climate, and it seems that the temperature drops below zero in winter and exceeds 35° in summer. As you can see, the temperature difference is huge. The best seasons to travel are from March to June and from September to November. To briefly explain the history, Morocco was invaded by Arabs in the 7th century and became a French protectorate by the Treaty of Fez in March 1912. It gained independence from France in March 1956 and has since become a kingdom. Morocco is loved by famous designers and artists, and there are places like Rabat where the entire city is a cultural heritage site, and the festival I’m going to this time is also a cultural heritage site. Moroccan cuisine has a delicious Mediterranean color, and I’m going to try various spices such as olives, cumin, and dates this time. I think I’ll be staying quite a long time around Morocco this time . Fez, the first place I’m going to today, is said to have the world’s oldest leather tannery. Leather products are also very famous. So I would like to see things like that with my own eyes and share them with you all. I’ve said a lot of good things about Morocco, but of course, do you know about Morocco’s bad noodles? Morocco has been ranked in the “World’s Top 3 Annoying Countries”. The top three countries are India, Egypt, and then Morocco, but I plan to visit all three countries. I’ve already been to India. And India was certainly annoying. I looked into what was annoying about it, and found that there were reasons why it was said to be annoying. – Excessively familiar. – They always ask for tips. – Persistent touts – They make excuses and lies without hesitation – They don’t keep their promises. It’s annoying! It’s annoying. India was certainly annoying, but I know it. I have one male and one female friend in Morocco through my travels, and many Moroccans really like Japanese manga and anime, and there are many really nice people. So I know very well that it’s only some people who are annoying. People who are business-minded will lie or deceive you without a second thought. I learned this in India a while ago, so I would like to use that knowledge to have a fulfilling trip to Morocco this time, seeing both the good and the bad . Yes, one thing to be careful of this time is Ramadan. Simply put, Ramadan is the culture of Muslims, and they fast from sunrise to sunset and cut off all desires. After sunset, they have their first meal, called Iftar. Ramadan lasts for about a month, so this time I would like to refrain from going to a restaurant as soon as I get hungry, as I usually do . This is a bit long-winded, but to explain it briefly, it’s like this. I’m going to Morocco on a flight in about an hour, so I’ll relax at the airport in Barcelona. Now, my trip to Morocco and the festivals begins. By the way, the plane looks like this in front of me right now and it looks like it’s about to take off. Today the weather is relatively good and the temperature is not that cold, so yes, yes, I have just arrived at the festival in Morocco. So now I’m at the airport. The airport is really simple. It’s pretty small. It’s a little far from the airport to the city. It takes about 4 hours to walk, so it seems that it’s common to take a bus or taxi to the city. However, taxis are more expensive than buses and I don’t want to be ripped off, so I think I’ll take the bus to the city this time. It’s probably 4 dirhams. If the price hasn’t changed, it seems like it’s pretty cheap. Payment is only in cash, so I’ll withdraw money from the ATM for now . There was only one ATM next to the exchange here. I’ll withdraw money here. As expected, there’s a fee of 35 dirhams. It’s probably just under 600 yen. I just got 700 dirhams. I got two 200Dh bills and three 100Dh bills. The front of the bill features the face of King Mohammed VI. The back of the 100Dh bill features a camel and the Sahara Desert. The back of the 200Dh bill features the lighthouse at Cape Spartel near Tangier. Then there’s the Mediterranean Sea and a cargo ship. The paper is pretty rough, like regular paper. I’m going to take a bus to the city. I’m just outside the airport. By chance, I met a Japanese girl who is a fourth-year university student. Amazing. The airport in Fes looks like this. It looks pretty beautiful. There’s a Moroccan flag over there . Yes, I just left the airport and walked a little to the right and there was a bus like this. It seems to go to Fes station, so I’ll get on. It seems to be 4 dirhams one way. I didn’t have any money in elementary school, but Lina had 20 dirhams, so she paid with that for now. The inside of the bus looks like this . We’ve just arrived in the center. The center of Morocco is more developed than I expected. There are big buildings and big buildings like shopping malls. There are electronics stores like this, and people around here just sit wherever they want. Oh, oh, oh, it’s a tajine pot. I was walking and found a cafe-like place with a lot of local people like this. Because it’s a local price It looks like a good place, so we’ll have a late breakfast here and then go for a walk. The name of the restaurant is Creamery Nice. The sign isn’t just in Arabic. It’s quite a local price. We’ll just order something. It seems they have a tajine pot, so we ordered a tajine pot. It arrived. It was quite cheap. A delicious looking musunmen like chapati. (3Dh) And a tajine pot for 20Dh. We didn’t know that bread was included, so we also ordered a large hot sandwich. Is that okay? We’ll eat. We tore off this bread and put it in the tajine. Let’s eat. Yes! The curry is delicious. We’ll also have something like musunmen. It ‘s layered and looks like a pie. Let’s eat. Yes, I don’t like it at all. (Female college student: Would you like to try this?) Really? You can eat this instead. It’s not tasty at all. This is the hot sandwich that Rina ordered. It has sauce and some fried potatoes. We’ll try it. It’s delicious. This is delicious, but… I probably can’t finish this pita bread, there’s quite a lot of it, so it wasn’t beans. It was olives! There was a kind person. There’s a local person next to me, and he gave me tissues to wipe my hands. Oh, by the way, there are a lot of stray cats in Morocco. It’s a kitten. We had a leisurely meal at a local restaurant here, and then headed to the old town. Yes, it was a feast. I couldn’t finish it. Ta-da! I ate the whole tajine pot and the musommen, but I couldn’t finish the pita bread that came for free. I left some of the olives. I paid 100 Dh and got 77 Dh in change. It was a feast. It was delicious. The new town has quite a tropical feel to the roads. And there’s more traffic than I expected. There are proper traffic lights, and both pedestrians and cars follow the rules. I was surprised at how orderly it was. There’s no trash on the ground. We’re still in the new town, and since there are just the two of us, we decided to take a taxi to the old town. This time, we will use a taxi dispatch app called Indrive. If there are a lot of people, it is a good idea to use a taxi app like this. Another option seems to be to take a shared red taxi. Fes is known as a historical city in the north of Morocco, and the old town has a history of about 1200 years. The entire city was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1981. As it is called a labyrinth city, it is known as the old town with the world’s most intricate maze-like roads. The old town is in a large space of about 2.2km x 1.2km. In terms of historical background, Fes was built by Idris I in 789 and flourished as the center of learning and art in the Islamic dynasty. Amazing. The walls are really like cheesecake and everything looks delicious. Does anyone have a spoon? We just arrived in the old town. Lina-chan seems to have booked a pretty nice historical hotel called Riyadh, and we got off the taxi in front of Lina-chan’s hotel, which was right there. But in my case, you can tell without me having to tell you, right? I stayed at a cheap hotel as usual. From here, I walked 20 minutes to the hostel. I was surprised that there were no people around. It was amazing. I walked along a narrow road that seemed like only one person could pass through . A trolley came from the opposite direction. It was pretty calm. There was a convenience store in a place like this. There was a local cat. It seems that the cat was going through a tunnel that I didn’t really understand. Oh, it’s a proper road. Surprisingly, the signal was good. It was a very steep downhill slope . It was like an uphill slope and a downhill slope. This time, I used eSIM Airalo. If you don’t like the hassle of changing SIM cards, eSim is easy to use, so I recommend it. If you use this coupon code, you will get a $3 discount. If you are using eSIM for the first time, please try using Airalo with the coupon code . Wow. There were cats again. There are a lot of cats. Is this real? Wow, there was a real kitten. It’s too cute but I wonder if it’s okay. Oh, is it a parent-child reunion? There’s a restaurant like this. Amazing. There are roads like this that look dark at night. What are they doing ? They were making something. The map doesn’t work well around here. Some people said it would be better to hire a local guide. I understand that feeling. I think I passed this far ahead. There are also many roads with cats. Wow, it’s so amazing, it’s a real maze. There are so many naughty boys around here. Oh Japan? Yes! Thank you. Thank you. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes , there are probably a lot of tourists around here. Thank you, yes, yes, yes, what is it? I found something like a cloth tray. All of these places look like souvenir shops and are cute. I’ve come quite far into the old town, but the further I go, the more local it feels. Hello. It feels like I’m walking around. It’s not just dirty, but I like how run down it is. Oh, is it okay? There are a lot of really young people playing tag . Wow, it seems like there are shops like this too. I want to drink a cold drink now, but there is no place that sells cold drinks. I suddenly found myself in an area with a lot of tourists. As I walked, I saw a bakery like this. I wonder if someone graffitied it in the surrounding area? It’s a powerful piece of art. Is this place okay? It’s pretty dark, but it seems that the hostel I’m staying at is around here. There it is. Here it is! The hostel I’m staying at this time is called Moroccan Dream Hostel. It’s a real alley. It feels like I just arrived by going through the narrow alley over there. This time I booked a women’s dormitory for 9 euros per night. I’ve booked for 2 nights for now. I’m thinking of extending it, so I’ll stay for 3 to 4 nights. I ‘ll check in for now. The room looks like this and has an interesting shape. I think this is probably a traditional riad-like architectural style. There’s no one here so I’ll introduce the female dormitory. There seems to be one person above me, but I’m staying here now. I’ve just had a little time to relax at the hostel and take a shower. It’s 5pm now. I want to get some water and other things before the sun goes down, so I think there’s a convenience store or something, so I’ll go for a walk around there. Morocco has a pretty slow internet speed, but I think you can search on Google Maps more than I thought . By the way, the view from the rooftop of the hostel was really beautiful. It goes up to about the 5th floor, and when I went to the rooftop, the view was really good. It was really beautiful . There’s wall art. Hello. Hello. I was told to go down the stairs and turn right for water. From the other side, it’s all a market. Oh wow, they sell eggs here. They’re all olives. There’s olives and pickles lined up. There’s some dough that’s been steamed, like it’s been permed. This seems to be what makes the dough look like a little bread. Oh, they also sell meat. If you’re cooking for yourself, you might want to buy meat here. Ah, I just love it, this is beef. Will they give me juice for 3 dirhams? They also have dried dates, which are sold for between 30 and 70 dirhams per kilo. These are probably the olives I ate earlier, which are sold for 35 dirhams per kilo. They’re from Imo Rocco Cat. I just came from the street over there and there was a corner selling cold juice. I just bought some. Um, 1.5 liters of water was 6.5 dirhams and a Coke was 0.45L . Ah, good morning. Thank you. It was 5.5 dirhams. The prices are written in places like this. Some drinks are written like this, with 5.5 dirhams. There were a lot of things that were pretty easy to understand. Whenever I’m in a hot place, I want to drink a Coke Zero. I drink it regularly. It’s delicious! I’m so impressed to be back in a local place after such a long time . It’s so crowded around here. Today is Tuesday, a weekday, but there are tourists and quite a few people wearing short sleeves. Now, I see a cat walking around with its hairy hair, so I’m going to walk around here with my hairy hair too. It looks like there are vegetables, so I’d like to go there. They sell vegetables around here. There’s also a pot repair shop around here. There’s a really strong smell around here. It smells like it’s definitely rotten. It’s a vegetable shop around here. I don’t know the price . What’s this strange smell? It smells really bad. Even the locals are covering their noses. It smells like Ambonia, which I’ve never smelled in India before. Wow… lively kids! Countries with lively kids are generally good countries. The ground is dirty too. Oops, are you okay? Flashback to India. People aren’t annoying at all. There are shops like this and everything you need to survive. If you go down this alley, it’ll probably look like a residential area again, but everything here is sold for 5 dirhams per kg. 5 dirhams means about 75 yen, which is really cheap. They sell it per kg. There are people who say things like, “They’re really pitiful, so please give them money.” There are also people who try to sneak around, but if you refuse, they just click their tongues and go somewhere, so it’s not particularly bad. The view from here is really beautiful. This area is also a tourist spot, but there are a lot of locals and it feels like they’re just intruding. There are really cats everywhere . Welcome to Fes city! Yes, this is a famous store. There are all kinds of people lined up and it’s pretty busy, so I think I’ll try a little here. When I said I wanted chicken, they measured it out like that . It looks really delicious. Oh, so that’s how they put it in the bread. Wow, it looks delicious. Chicken sandwich, 20 dirhams. I’ll try it! Yeah it’s delicious it’s quite spicy and has a strong taste. As expected, the restaurants that are popular with locals are delicious. By the way, it’s a slum area so they don’t sell any alcohol at all. I’d like to mask this with cola. This time it’s zero. Yes, yes, I’ve just eaten it all. It’s a noodle pie. I heard it was quite spicy and it was almost warm and spicy. Well, I’ll be back. There was something that’s been bothering me for a while now, I wonder what it is [laughs] . They had some kind of bento-like snacks and they said I could take one for free so I’ll have one . It’s from sesame and they give it olive oil. Yes, it was as I expected. It was quite squishy and it tasted like sesame. Yes, it’s a tasty food. It’s 60 per kilo so 100g is about 6 dirhams. Yes, at the restaurant I was at earlier, it was 60 per kg. It was a ham, but they said they wanted 100g for now and I thought it would be 6 but it was 10. Yes, yes, I was just walking and I found the Moroccan flag over there. It seems that the Koki also has a meaning. It’s red with a green star, and apparently that star is said to be an impression of Suleiman, the Star of Solomon. The red symbolizes the prophet Muhammad and green is a sacred color in Islam, so that ‘s why the star is green. They used red, which is the traditional color of Arau that has been used since the 17th century, and this red color seems to represent perseverance, bravery and mental strength. The star is called an impression of Suleiman and comes from King Solo of the Old Testament. It’s a symbol of the peace of the people and the stable development of the country, and it’s quite a bit like this with that atrium, it’s like a half-open space, it’s getting a bit dark so I’ll hurry home, but what’s up, my brother and I are all moving, well , I’m pretty full this time, I want to buy some, I’ve changed the water so I’m in preparation for tomorrow , I’ll take it easy today, and see you tomorrow, the next morning, yes, good morning everyone, it’s 11:30 the next morning, right here at the festival, they have the world’s oldest river rice factory , they don’t use scientific methods, they dye leather using natural materials, I heard there’s a place called Ri where you can see a view like this , so I’d like to walk there. Anyway, we’ll start the second day. By the way, I just came out of the hostel and when I look up, it’s a sunny day. Yes, amazing. Oh, what amazing weather. They’re even selling smartphones. Amazing. I guess all of these are for sale. There are quite a few used items, like irons, bags, cords, batteries, remote controls, and all sorts of things lined up. There are quite a few people. I guess there’s a market around here. There are quite a few people around the market. There are rows of them. I didn’t pass by around here yesterday. Yes, there are also things like local cafes. Amazing. This is yesterday’s market. Anyway, if you go straight from here, you’ll come across ammonia. Yesterday’s ammonia is probably from the river dyeing, and they also use cow waste and pigeon droppings, so it seems like ammonia flows all around. Ah, I see. [ Laughs] It’s still delicious. I can only smell something like a sweet or something spicy. Yesterday there was a lot of people here and it was also very popular, like Don’t get angry, don’t get angry grandpa, don’t get angry, I love that kind of thing, it seems like these kinds of fabrics and scarves are pretty famous now, and then there’s the wallets and bags from the river, and things like this are probably made from seeds, I think, and these were sandals with a name like Savage, I think these were also made in the river, they’re really cute and beautiful sandals, I think they make good souvenirs, I don’t know what’s going on, but yes, there’s Messi and Conan, I’m happy, and so on and so forth, there are a lot of people in Morocco who really like Japanese anime, and so on, it’s made by the river There are also some quality shops. [Music] Yes, it’s wonderful. Yes, everything around here sells cloth and scarves. It’s amazing. There are donkeys underneath. Amazing. They’re carrying luggage now. It’s like that.[Laughter] Ah, it ‘s kind of calming. Seriously. There are a lot of old men carrying luggage. Yes, yes, on the way there, I came across a mosque that is said to be the oldest, and a place called a Madrasa. Madrazo is Arabic, but in English nowadays university simply means university, so there are facilities like that, so I’ll introduce them to you. Yes, it’s something like this. Anyway, at the Madrasa, you can enter if you pay 20 delhams. Beria Beria [Music] [Music] It seems fine. Yes, yes, I went in front of the mosque and paid 20. It seems like you can enter through a gate, so there are a lot of regular people there, so I think I’ll just blend in and go in.Yes, yes, I’ll go in for a bit.Okay, okay .[Music] I was given something like this. It’s amazing, what is this? It’s like this, this is the world’s best madras.Ah, it’s quite like the surrounding area, the ceiling is open.I see, it’s 20 ham, so I think it would be about 300 yen for two, but it’s like this, and there are a lot of tour groups too.Yes, I just came in through this gate, and the gate is quite Jupiter-like in design. It’s like the surrounding area is decorated with tiles like this and around here it seems to have Arabic carvings on it.What do you think everyone?Thank you so much to everyone who has maintained it this far.I wonder what this is, I wonder if it’s a fountain, it’s probably something like this, it’s beautiful to drink miso soup with, yes, there are windows like this that let in nature, I can’t read Arabic so I don’t really understand, but there are what look like old characters carved into it with black marks, there’s another room here too so I’d like to go in there as well, I wonder if this is it? Is it a substitute seat?Ahhh, it’s taken like this, I see, it ‘s taken like that, it’s amazing, it flickers a little around here, but the top is decorated with stained glass, and the roof is quite heavy, I can’t get it in the camera, but the wood carvings are deep and it’s decorated like flowers, yes it’s really beautiful, what is this? There’s a rather sophisticated metallic light, I wonder if it flickers at night It seems you can go up too, I see, you can see the market from over there, see, you can see the market, and, wow, as expected, the market is really beautiful from here, everything, everything, yes, I just came here, this is amazing, this hairstyle, there is a door that only reaches up to my knees, and from here you crouch down and look down, I see, I see, I entered from there, and over there was a stained glass room, and it’s Umiharu, what is it that they show you from over there, I think it would look the same if you looked from the other side, like the middle part below, yes, this is the mountain, and it feels like you’re standing there looking at it, [music] , it has a roof and no windows, so it’s easy to let in nature, and from every room you can see outside a little over your waist, it was quite spacious than I thought, and I could see the green riverside The houses around here are really cute and the tiles underneath are really stylish too. Now, I’d like to go back to what I was saying earlier. Yes, I just went to Madra, which is over here and it was like this . I think the market around here is called Atari Market. I just happened to pass by and there is an ATM there that you can withdraw money from without paying any fees. It’s called AL Barrier Bank and you can use the ATM without paying any fees so if you’re using it in Morocco, try using it. I’m heading to this place now, it’s called Dabar and I heard that the view from the building here is really nice. Also, someone walking in front of me kept following me, or rather he kept acting like he was guiding me, but when he asked for a tip I couldn’t pay him. He was just following me on his own, so right in front of me is Dabar. That’s the place, it’s probably around here, mint mint Osecu, this is the place on the Nashi side where they sell jumpers and stuff like that, and I just got some meat, so take this and go, and there are a lot of bomb shops in the area, and they make it by stepping on the river, so the locals probably do n’t think the smell is that bad, and they don’t even notice it, it follows you around, but it’s okay , it seems there’s a natural process going on, and it’s coloured with red and saffron and other natural things, and it seems that it’s mixed with cow and pigeon fat, and there are people who work every day to colour it, which is amazing , by the way, where did that person go? If you just keep looking at bugs, they’ll go somewhere, the view from here is like this, it’s really beautiful, it’s quite stimulating, and the strength of the smell varies depending on the day, It seems to be changing , but today it’s not so crazy. There are people watching from over there, but I think there are probably some areas over there that you can’t get in unless you pay 20 dirhams. Yes , yes, there are quite a few ordinary people walking from the other side, so I think you can probably go under here. I’m not sure, but I think I’ll go. From here, you can enjoy a nice view and see the manufacturing process of river products, they are really made by hand from scratch , the dyeing and peeling are all done by hand, so there are quite a lot of customers around here. So, I wrapped the guide around, and if you say there is a guide, they will go off somewhere. They were quite persistent and it seems like the locals are showing you around. They are guiding you through this part of their job, so I gave them a little tip of 20 Personally, I think it’s better to pay for deli ham. Oh, it has quite a strong smell. It’s like this. They tan the leather. Oh, it’s amazing. Yes, there are cats too. Japan Japan Shin , go like this. He’s licking the river and making it. As Asuka Sekyuu. Oh, this is scary. He’s doing something. Amazing. Everyone is welcome. Amazing. Sekyuu . It’s like he’s guiding us around. Channel. Your Security. Yes, he’s like the ruler here. Ah, this. He’s like a man. Ah, he’s removing the hair now. Ah, he’s spitting out cow hair. I guess it’s done like this. Ah, he’s removing that hair. Ah, his feet are pretty much like this. They’re dirty so if you come here wearing sandals you’ll die. Amazing. Ok , I’m the only one who’s like a guide. Ah, wow, Prombu, Okay, that’s what it’s called. It’s called saffron and it seems to be the source of that coloring. Kao , Okay, what is this machine doing? It’s washing the leather with this . [Applause] No, no , I meant to give 20 but I gave 50 and they said they wanted more. It looks like you can go out from here, but it looks like a parking lot. It’s really dirty. The tunnel itself was amazing. [Music] If you go from the building I introduced first, you can see the view from building number 10, which is said to have a great view . You can see the actual view from above, but if you go down, you’ll be guided around by the local workers. Basically, you don’t have to pay for the amount of guidance, but the amount of work they do is so high that I feel like I’m paying as a token of appreciation. They showed me around so well that I paid 50, but after that I paid another 50. They said it had to be 100, but I think 50 is a pretty good price, about 750 yen.I gave it to them in that 5 or 10 minutes, so that was just a token amount, so of course I gave a tip.I’m starting to get a little hungry so I’d like to walk around and look for something to eat.Anyway , the tunnel was amazing. It was a really cute street. This is actually kind of like a photogenic spot.Yes, the top is really cute.It reminds me of Nepal.I’d like to drink some mint tea. I’d like to ask people around here and go to a place where I can drink mint tea. There are really a lot of shiny gold shops around here . The locals also have some kind of gold painted time jars, but I don’t know what they’re used for. You can also hear the sound of metal being hammered on. I just looked at the map and it seems like this area is like Safari Square. Adora Abura Tiaratio, this is a famous tea shop that a local person recommended to me . Google When I looked at it on the map, it was a very popular place. It’s minty. Oh, it’s wonderful. Wow, wow, I’m the only one there. It seems to be a very popular place. The name of the shop is Adon La Cafe Abdon La Cafe Abdon Laoui. It ‘s 10 dirhams, 10 dirhams, 10 dirhams, 10 dirhams, 10 dirhams, 150 yen each. It ‘s very local. Oh my god. Oh my god. The surrounding area is like this, with a very traditional landscape. I asked a local person and they recommended it to me and said it’s a very popular place. I looked it up on Google Maps and it said that Mitoti is a very famous drink in Morocco and if you come to Morocco you have to drink Mitoti. It’s my first time. They boil the water like this. Is this water normal? There’s a lot of mint. [Music] [Music] Shikra wow this tastes like mint tea no it’s amazing it smells like mint and I heard that it’s good to add a little sugar normally I don’t add sugar to coffee but this time I asked for some since there was no one here Japan Yes from JA panotoniha hello hello hello hey you’re such a playful old man this is my first time having mint tea yeah yeah it’s not hard to drink hello ma haban yes mar haban yes mar haban this is the hello It’s so delicious, I want to drink this every day, and it’s only 150 yen, I think it’s amazing, it’s pretty light, and the aroma of meat is faintly coming out of your nose, it’s so local, right? Yes, I just got a lot of mito tea, and it was quite a lot, but it was delicious, and it was delicious, and I ordered another one, so I’m going to warm myself up and come over here, it’s yesterday’s, but it’s another one , it’s super sweet, but even people who don’t like mint or anything like that can drink it, it’s sweet enough to really taste like tea, yes, I just got my second one, it was super delicious, I ordered two, so I paid 20 lakhs, it’s pretty long, it’s getting really crowded, it’s already full over there and I can’t sit down anymore, I’m going to have a seat It seems I wanted to ride it for the first time today, and it was really delicious so I’m going to go from here. The owner of the hostel I’m staying at told me about a famous market and a famous colorful street, so I’m going to walk there. Yes, there was a cat here. Oh, what is it? What is it? There is a man with lots of stuff. What is it? He was tinkling, tinkling, tinkling, and he was lined up. Yes, this is the market that the owner of the hotel I’m staying at introduced me to. The name of this market is something like Henna Souk and Pottery, and it’s pretty, the roof is like this, it’s shaped like a Jupiter, and it feels like a bar. If you go in a little further, there is a place called Maura Lesbos, which is like a tomb and only Muslims are allowed in, and I think this is the tomb of the Maura Lesbos. Is it okay to go in there ? Yes, only Muslims are allowed in here, but I got permission to take it from here, so I would like to move it here. Dris, who built Fez, There is a grave of the deceased inside, and it looks like Muslims are praying there, so it’s a very fresh place, so you can’t mess around here. It was something like this. Yes, dirty. For now, I would like to go down this market and go to a famous street. This is like mascara. It’s makeup. The woman puts this on her face, but she apparently grinds it up and puts it in a bottle. Wow, it’s beautiful. She grinds it with a branch like this and puts it on her face. [music] It’s amazing. You can mix it with water and use it as a pack. Most spices are 50g, like tempura, lipstick, lipstick, lipstick, wow, isn’t this amazing? I thought it was just some kind of tea, but apparently you can use this as your lip or cheek. metal , it smells really good, it’s amazing. forricei andusing expensivecanuse how Igotit They used saffron as a colouring in the funnels over there, and that’s how I found out it was fake. It smells really nice. I’ve bought 20 perfumes and 25 solid perfumes. He let me taste all of them, and he’s a really nice old man. He said I could introduce this shop, so I will, but he said the shop doesn’t have a name, so he told me to just remember it as the shop right in front of the famous cafe restaurant. It’s like this, there’s an old man who chats with the locals in a friendly manner, so we’re going to a place like the famous Rainbow Road, and when we come back we’ll have tea together, so I bought it quite cheaply. It’s amazing, it’s a little bit like Nepal from this angle, doesn’t it? ?This colourful cloth and some kind of cloth ninja technique, welcome, thank you, I know, they keep repeating the phrase “use” and there are a lot of shops like this too, yeah, the thing hanging down like this is probably a babush, this sambal , yeah, amazing, little magnets, wooden carved magnets for 10 dirhams, Muslim-style bags for 20 dirhams, little pouches for 10 dirhams, postcards like these sell for 5 dirhams, they also sell things like leather wallets like these, they don’t say the price or anything but I wonder if they’re nice, they also sell cloth like this, leather items like these are really cute, they even sell animal skins as is, oh wow, amazing, yes this is probably them, they sell nabe pots like this There’s a pot-like thing called a “pot” and there’s a cat sleeping here. It’s like a hotpot shop. They sell spices and other things and there are a lot of shops like this lined up around here . They’re not the usual fake ones that you’d see somewhere before, but famous national products lined up, so it’s really fun to look at. Right in front of me is a boy dressed as Zoro from One Piece and he’s so cute. There are a lot of kids who like that kind of thing. It seems like there are a lot of them in Morocco and when you’re walking around, they often use magic or something, I don’t know what it’s a term from an anime, I think. I think if you go to the left on the street around here, it seems to be a famous photo spot. Rain It was called something like Bow Street, what do you think? Is it there? It’s amazing, the walls are quite high so even when the temperature is high they keep out the heat and the road itself is quite cool and refreshing. Yes, I just asked the boy at the shop if he knew where I wanted to go to Rainbow Street and he showed me there. He was a really nice boy, it wasn’t like he called out to me, it was like he called me himself. Oh dear, what a nice guy, he was like, “If you go over here you’ll probably find it.” I don’t know where it is, but around here there are really spice shops and other stores that are amazing, lined up with slurs. Welcome, welcome. Surprisingly, I don’t know that my wife doesn’t do it, but there’s a sign saying kg Most places have prices listed, telling you how much it costs. This is yellowtail. Yes , I just got some beans, like this. These are for 2 lbs., and I asked them to add a little spice to it. [Music] Yes, it’s delicious. Good . I really want to put this in a bag and take it home. I’ve seen cats, but there are probably dogs here. They ‘re being fed meat, so it’s probably purchased meat, but there was a cute dog. It’s called Lok Koke. Sanji is too cute. Bye. Around here it’s pretty good, and I don’t get the impression that you’re being ripped off. There are a lot of spices, beans, and vegetables available. I think this area is probably a market for locals. I just walked over from the market, and once you leave the market there are no shops or anything. Look, it’s a clear day. Around here there is a gate like an upper wall on the border between the old town and the new town called Boujour Damon, and it was built in 1913. It was erected when it was in the French capital in 1940, and it is still there.Right now, I asked a boy selling something there and he said it was over there, so I’d like to go there for a bit.Yes, my name is, my name is, is that a donkey? Or a horse?A donkey, it’s a donkey, probably.Yes, if I leave here, I think I’ll probably end up in the new town. There are a row of things like walls above this.If you go inside, it’s the old town, and I think this is the Boujloud Gate, is that correct?Yes, I just asked a really kind old man, and he said that the Boujloud Gate is on the opposite side of here.I do n’t know where it is anymore, like, where is the bull, oh, death, I don’t like it.That kid at the beginning was so stiff, and he was really bored, so he tried to trick me, and I was tricked, and it’s not like I’m going to take your money, but if it’s just a little thing like this, I don’t care.I have some Mez clothes, hapum Japan bread , hello, onshikran, bye bye bye, if I call you, you might play soccer with me, yeah , waaaah, okay , bye bye, with a super cute girl, 2 The person was holding a soccer ball and asked me, “Which one is Boujourde?” It was like that. There are a lot of red trees around here. Yes, yes, we have just arrived at Boujourdemont. It was like going from Sake to New Town to Kyushu City. It took a long time to get here. ら見てくださいねーわ。 English: It’s got quite a lot of tiles scattered about, or rather decorations, but it wasn’t there at all before, but now it’s decorated in beautiful blue and I can clearly see that it’s not the same gate as before . Ah, this is Boujour de Monts, and it seems like this is also a famous tourist spot. So I haven’t gone in here, but I’d like to go back to the old town. I wanted to try some chinchika and couscous, but I’ve never eaten couscous, so they said they have couscous , and it’s a famous restaurant called Chez Tami. I ordered a Coke for 15 delhams and chicken couscous for 50 delhams. Around here, I came in from Boujour de Monts and there is a popular restaurant over there, so I asked a local person if there was a popular restaurant around here and they recommended this place, it’s a Moroccan restaurant that is listed in the “Landscape Guide to the World” guidebook. I wonder when it was from, but it was from 2019 or 2020, so I’m grateful. In particular, there was a zero, so let’s eat. Cheers. It ‘s delicious. I end up drinking it like it’s beer. Oh yeah, I forgot. Usually, Moroko comes with bread like this. Olives are different from the olives from yesterday. They’re yellow, normal olives. Yes, let’s eat olives. Yes, these are delicious olives. Yes, yes, I just pounded the couscous. See, they’re laughing, “couscous.” Everyone, this is chicken couscous, and this is probably chicken, isn’t it? It has some kind of raisin-like fruit on top. This is what they call cous. Wow, my first couscous, let’s eat. [Music] Yes, it’s sweet. Couscous is sweet. Amazing. Couscous is really delicious. Ah, it’s not sweet. The sweet one was refrigerated. It’s like a cucumber, it’s really soft. Let’s eat. Cucumber. It tastes like eggplant. Ninja. Hmm , it’s so soft that you can mash it under and under. Let’s eat the chicken. Chicken is delicious . It’s delicious. You’re watching my YouTube channel. Let’s eat. Yes. 1 So I’ll have some crushed olives and a Coke Zero and this one, couscous, and I’d like to eat it slowly. This guy is really looking at me, and there’s a shameless cat eating here. Yes, yes, I’ve just finished eating. Yes, I’ve finished it all. It was a feast. It was really, really, really delicious. But as I get older, I’ll probably eat it a few more times, but for now, it was the perfect first experience. From here on, I ‘ll make another one. It was a feast. Ah, he’s Ten-san from the restaurant. Me. [Laughs] Thank you, thank you. Okajapa was so much fun, really. And that angel has a really great impression of Japan, and I think there are a lot of Japanese people too. I think the people who read that are probably [Music] Ah, than, oh , oh, Just OneHe shows me all sorts of thingsThis boy is the one who showed me the way earlierAhh , it’s amazingIt’s kind of like a Torsh CafeYes, he seems to be making it nowI would like to pay for nowIt’s 15 dirhamsAmi , it looks like we’ll get a lot of subscribersCuteThis boy just signed up, so it’s a plusThe boy gave me a spiced coffeeI guess it’s called? Mahamarhan Aliba AlibaOkay, bye bye, he was a really nice boyIt’s really deliciousIt’s pretty goodIt seems to have a lot of spices in it, like ginger and other spicesI’ve never heard of themIt’s a very small amountBut the caffeine seems to be quite expensiveIt’s a drink I’ve never had before so I’m really happy to have had this experienceThey also sell a lot of productsHello, it’s niceThe people here are really making money from everythingYes , yesJust now, with the old man where I bought that puff, I wonder what it was, T I promised to beat him up, so I want to go back there now. It smells like chicken around here. It’s amazing . He mixed some tea for me and went to buy some tea and said we should drink it together. I was on guard while he went to buy it. Then, two boys came and said “Niha”, I think, and I said “No, it’s not Niha, it’s good afternoon”. Then they said “Japanese”, and then the other boy said “Kamsahamni”, and it was like “Kamsahamni, no, no, it’s red”. It seems like the little ones are studying something like that too. Maybe when they grow up they’ll be able to use it in business. It seems like they’re learning a bit from when they’re young. I thought it was interesting in my environment. Yes, I’m having mint tea now. I’m wondering how many cups I’m going to drink today, but it’s a natural thing. Right now, the uncle is serving customers. There are customers lined up in front of me. He even gave me some snacks. [Music] Too active, too kind, it’s a meal. As you can see, it’s sweet and bitter, so I’ll take my time. Yes, I just talked with the guy for over an hour, and he said that when I’m around, a lot of people come, so I was like, please stay a little longer, and he was really friendly to everyone, and we talked about religion and stuff, and I learned a lot, and it seems that even among Muslims there are many different ways of thinking, and I don’t say much on my videos, so I listened to a lot of religious stuff, and I realized that there are ways of thinking like that, and it was a learning experience. Well, I don’t have anything else to do now, so I’m going to head back to the hotel. Yes, I ate at Godilham yesterday, and the restaurant is on the other side, but I picked up something like this at the restaurant in front of me, it’s a fibrous food, and it’s like the noodles have hardened. [Music] Yes, it ‘s quite oily, and the texture is a bit interesting, like bread, and it’s quite a good taste. I’ll eat it with some hol. [Music] It’s not too late yet, Pano Ineed, Pa bye bye no no no, you know, the kids with the loud voices do it, bye bye knife, you know the ones that beggars often do, you know the ones that they do, these two kids were following me in front of the hostel, I was like, I don’t have any money, but I couldn’t stand them messing around anymore and just laughed and went home, and that’s how it felt. Yes, the Wi-Fi at the hostel isn’t working at all , so I might have to buy a new one, but Moroko is just in the middle of the phase now, but the internet environment is terrible when you walk around. It’s a bad impression, the internet speed is really slow, like 3G, so I have to book a hotel, and it seems there is no good internet, so right now it feels like I can’t even edit, but for now I’m going to check the bus at the hostel, and if I can get a bus, I’m thinking of going somewhere different tomorrow. Today, I’m going to take it easy and rest at the hostel, it was a really fulfilling day, so see you tomorrow, the next day. Good morning everyone, right now it’s 10 o’clock the next day and I’m at the festival, but from now I’ll go to Chefchauvin , which is a little further north from the festival . So I want to go there by bus, and the bus company CTM seems to be the mainstream in Morocco, and it seems you can make reservations online too, so I went online to CTM and tried to pay, but it seems that Japanese credit cards are often rejected, and my Visa and MasterCard were rejected, so this time, I’m going to go directly to the bus company and get a ticket at the bus office, but I’m not sure if that’s possible, but if there are seats available, then today too , it’s a clear day, but I guess it ‘s still the same as always, like an ammonia state. The Dream Hall here is quite like a traditional riad and it was really nice. So I have to go through the old town and towards the new town, I can’t get a taxi so I’ll head towards the bus stop. Bus office Good morning. Yes, this is Kyushu Cat. Good morning. It’s kind of emotional. Just now, as I came out of the market, there were a lot of red taxis like this. The red taxis around here seem to go by meter. Yes, yes, I’m on that Kyushu Street, is it still Kyushu Street? Yes, there are quite a few red taxis on the street, and I came across a SIM card company called Orange which I think is the most popular in Morocco , so I went in. I only have 5GB so I started to think that 5 might not be enough and I checked my EM recently but EM for mobile phones is quite expensive so I thought it would be a local SIM video and when I asked this orange how much it would be for 10GB I was told that normally it’s around 100,1500 yen for 10GB but they run promotions regularly and even now during the promotion period they said even if I bought 20GB it would only be 100 yen so I thought 20GB for 1500 yen would be pretty good so I just bought some more so it’s cheaper to buy a local SIM card just to let you know. Anyway, I’m going to take a taxi to the bus office called CTM. Yes, yes, I ended up taking a red taxi for 200 yen. I get off at the bus station, and maybe a mentor would be cheaper, but they drive pretty safely and it’s very comfortable. Yes , yes, yes, I’ve just arrived at the CTM office. That red taxi just dropped me off and a lot of local people get on, so I have to apologize for bringing large luggage and such, but that’s also interesting , it has the CTM logo, or something like that, and I think this is probably the office. I’m going to buy a ticket, the price is the same as online, you can pay with a credit card and it was 120, the same as online, and there’s a luggage check-in counter, and if you check in a backpack, it costs 5 dirhams, which is normal for the CTM bus company in Morocco, so I think it probably becomes a kind of tip for depositing. Anyway, there’s still time until the bus departs. I have about an hour and a half, so I’ll have lunch around here, then come back here and go to Chef’a. Yes, yes, right now I’m at CTM and I’m walking along the CTM building. There are a lot of restaurants around CTM , and there are also a lot of taxis and convenience stores, and there are also places like tea shops where locals eat. Yes, as I was walking, I came across this place called Brinchar, or something like Brinchar. It seems to be a bakery and there are a lot of locals here, so I thought I might go in. What is it? What is it? Oh, it’s tiny, there are a lot of breads that have stopped moving, it’s amazing, there are only locals there, oh, it just randomly puts it in. I don’t know how much it costs, but I get the impression that everyone buys it by the gram. Yes, yes, right now, there are a lot of different things in this store . They measured out about a variety of things, I think in grams, and the total came to 23. There were a lot of local people piling up boxes of this, that, and that, so I thought it might be closed, but I went in anyway, but this store is really interesting, so I’ll just give you a quick introduction to what I bought. Firstly, there was this thing called Fan Chocolat, which I think was Funda Chocolat, and there was a loaf of bread , and they gave me about 10 different kinds of sweets, like these little hard ones with nuts and some kind of cookie , and these kind of cookies with almonds that look like they sell in Turkey, and some kind of cookie , and some kind of really sweet sweets, I don’t know what they are, like these really crunchy looking things, like pie crust, and they also gave me a lot of other sweets, so in total it was about 23 hams. This is my lunch for today, I’m going to eat this while waiting for the bus, so please come and have a look. If you come to the festival, try coming to this store , and although the staff don’t speak the language, if you just point and say “this, that” they’ll smile and put more and more of these in your bag. I was surprised because I bought that, and I just took a video, and when I took the video, they gave me a souvenir as a bonus, a sweet snack and a little chocolate cookie. I’m so happy, you should definitely come here, I highly recommend it, it’s so cool, you’ll fall in love with it, the girls give you so much, it’s like a taste, they say they’ll buy this and when you’re wondering what to do with it they’ll hand it to you like “try it, try it” It’s like this, it’s all gone, yes, yes, I just found a really local place and got some meat dessert, and I just got it , today I made it sugar-free for the first time today, and I also want to eat these sweets I just bought here, it’s right in front of me, like this, there it says CTM, and that’s soon to be the bus station, the bus office, so right in front of me, I’m drinking mint tea like this, yes, I’ll have my first cup of mint tea today, it’s like a first in Turkey, I said today, so I ‘ll go, yes , it’s a little sweet even without sugar, it’s a little sweet even without sugar, it’s delicious, this is 150 It’s much better than going to Starbucks. I don’t know if you’re eating the tan chocolat I just bought, but Morocco is free to do that kind of thing, so I got a little carried away. Yes, I got some inside, and there’s a little bit of chocolate in it. It’s beautiful. It’s pretty high quality and I was surprised. At places like that, even if you buy these things from Panasonic, they’re often quite dry, or even if there’s chocolate in the middle, they’re still quite dry, but this has a slight smell of butter and is really crispy and chewy like bread. [Music] It’s cool, it’s the best. And more than anything, the Moroccan people are warm and fun every day. It’s been 3 years since I arrived here . Only a few days have passed, but I’ve already come to love Moroko. It’s true that it’s annoying, but the young people with digestive problems try to force their way in and out of the way. Even when I tell them it’s okay, they just say, “Just follow me, I’m not a monk.” If I get lost, they’ll say, “Please give me some food, please give me some food.” All of that combined makes Moroko so interesting. For now, I’ll relax here, and in about an hour I ‘d like to head to the CTM-bound Fuschau. The bus is coming, and it looks like the bus has just arrived . It’s exactly 1 o’clock now, so the bus was 15 minutes late, and it was earlier than I thought. Kannai is really beautiful. Do you know what that feels like? The walls are beautiful, and there’s a cushion battle, and it’s not particularly worn out. From here to Schau, it’s 4 It seems to take a little time, so I think we’ll probably get there just before 6 o’clock. There’s also a hostel. I didn’t take a picture this time, so I’ll look into it on the bus and decide before we get there. They’re arguing, it’s already departure time and we’re on our way, but they’re still arguing. They’re arguing about the reclining seats. They want to lower it a little more, but they’re so narrow and they’re arguing and telling us to sit down quickly. It’s a good idea to do this kind of thing. Yes, we finally departed at 1:10, which is about 25 minutes later than planned , but it’s fine because we’re not in a hurry. Yes, there are local people selling fruit like that. Yes, we’ve arrived. The current time is 5:40 , so it took about four and a half hours. It’s quite a climb, isn’t it? It’s a pretty high-altitude area, so it feels a little chillier than the festival , but it’s really swaying and swaying . It’s been a while since I got bus sickness. Anyway, we arrived as planned in 4 and a half hours, and the surroundings are very blue. This time, I’m going to wrap it up here for Fez, so I think I’ll stop here. How was Fez, Morocco? Personally, I’ve heard that it’s a really annoying country, so I came to see that, but I found Morocco to be really interesting and the people to be warm. I hope I can keep this impression, but I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next. Thank you for watching up to this point. If you enjoyed it even a little, please click the like button and subscribe to the channel. See you again in the next Chefchaou edition. Bye. [Music] me
