J-rock fan’s FIRST-TIME listening to Official髭男dism – 50% [Official Live Video] | リアクションしてみた
what’s up guys hope you’re having an awesome day my name is Andrew but you can call me Andy and this is JRock MD the show where we talk about all things J-Rock and guys on today’s episode we finally for the first time ever have official Heay Dundism here on the channel in their live performance of 50% let’s get into it [Music] that is right guys I am reacting to official Heigay Dandism for the first time here on JRock MD but full disclosure here I’ve actually heard of official Heigay Dandism i mean who hasn’t heard of them especially their lead singer who’s super popular vocalist in Japan um I mean the huge J-pop song Pretender we can’t forget that um as well as how I first heard them was from their collab with 10K Rock on their luxury disease album Gravity um but really I haven’t actually do dove too much into official Heigay Dandism as their genre really blends a lot of J-pop and kind of jazzy blues elements that said from what I’ve heard from a lot of you is that they actually do dabble in J-Rock um I’m not sure if this song specifically we’re going to react to is one of those that said it appeared on my recommended feed and I said “You know what today’s the day today’s the day we put official Heay Dandism on the channel.” And of course their lead singer is super popular in Japan that is Satoshi Fujihara love his voice very very good actually I think the one of the songs that I did here by him was I watched that TV show Ionori Love Wagon um on Netflix and he did the theme song for the Africa season so that was another song so yeah the sound is is really good really good vocalist there but I’d love to hear some kind of like stadium pop rock like that’s what I I would love to hear that so if you have a recommendation of something that can sell me on official heay dynism something that’s kind of fast pop rocky please leave that recommendation in the comment section down below if you love official heism make sure to hit this video with a like and why don’t we just get into the reaction reaction starting in 3 2 1 all righty we have our video up here 50% by official heism let’s go oh wow [Music] come on whoa [Applause] that’s a massive stadium did you say Nissan Stadium let me check i need to check this out did he say Nissan Stadium i think it did it just says live at stadium 2025 anyways this is a giant venue my goodness gracious me i didn’t realize they were this big in Japan oh yeah 3.5 million subscribers yeah they they ain’t no joke they ain’t no joke whoa [Applause] let’s go let’s go wow [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay I have to say so far I really loved that opening it was like this big grandiose stadium pop rock with the the chanting crowds really lends itself well to such a crazy stadium like this one must be what 50,000 plus 55 60,000 people in that stadium um and it is just a different vibe it’s a different vibe i’ve seen these big Japanese artists in big stadiums like Tokyo Dome and and then I’ve also seen them in in smaller club-like venues and it’s just such a different energy it’s such a different vibe it’s a different experience and this is an experience all in of itself really cool oh it’s so [Music] [Music] Okay okay whoa whoa whoa i need to wrap my head around what’s going on we started with a crazy big stadium pop sound we went into this really like kind of emotional um intimate piano type ballad with Satoshi’s voice uh just really ringing true and then we had this kind of soulful chorus with a really good message and now we’re breaking it down with a little bit of rap i love it hell yeah [Music] rock elements coming back again [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] this chorus is very gospel like it’s got a real soul to it like that’s why I’m saying this band really delves into the blues really or uh the jazzy elements and to have like the kind of backup singers lending themselves to this chord really adds a power to the chorus really changes that sound really makes it uplifting and kind of positive um but a big contrast to that kind of pop rock we heard from the beginning and then those rap interludes i mean the genre mashing is really really unique in this one 100.chech [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that’s wild that crowd is nuts nuts [Music] [Applause] wow i literally just got shivers at that part that change up with the electronic elements and how the song just bursted with energy at the end hitting that 100 that was so freaking cool you can tell the crowd is really emotional like look at this girl they’re so into it i love this what the hell i’m getting I Why am Why am I getting emotional what’s happening what’s going on guys let’s keep going [Music] [Applause] so nuts [Music] wow [Applause] oh it’s so [Music] [Music] Come on [Applause] what a cool song what a cool message [Music] so I take it this is the ending song of this live show ooh [Music] [Applause] damn that was That was dope i love that that was so big that was awesome as hell official Heay Dundism live at Stadium 2025 this was 50% it looked like a closing song here and um I approve guys this was my first ever reaction to official Heay Dundism here on the channel and I feel like we can’t end it here i loved this and if they have more songs like this that kind of hit home the messaging behind this one was so it really just kind of hits deep like the societal expectation to give it 100% um but we need to take a stand we we’re not giving all of our being every stress every knot in our heart to this lost cause when we can just honestly be good to ourselves why don’t we just get 50 cuz 50 is good enough right um I love it i love it and I don’t think um this is a song that you can kind of like take lightly it has a deeper meaning it needs multiple listens to which I will be doing i loved it it was really cool guys give me your official Heay Dundism recommendations in the comment section down below and we’ll have them on the channel here hopefully very very soon hit that subscribe button as well as the bell notification for when we do drop a new video you are the first to know guys until we meet again I’m going to see you all in the next one

as you said in the beginning, they are really diverse in their music, they have made songs from so many genres, from pop, jazz, soul, rock, there's even some songs with metal element in it!
I also have some live performances recommendation of their more rock-ish song if you are interested in checking them out!

If you wanna check out other live performance like this, you should check out their "chessboard" live video
I was there at the Nissan Stadium for this performance, there were approx 70k people that day and Higedan reached to all of us. Thank you for loving Higedan! Waiting for more Higedan reactions from you😊
official higedandism is banger❤❤
I attended the June 1st concert at Nissan Stadium. Finally saw them live after years of only watching them online.. It was daaang amazing. Btw, there were 4 songs after this song.
Crybaby and white noise is definitely the pop rocky song you're looking for
I flew to Japan to attend the stadium concert! It was the best concert I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of Japanese artists live (OOR, Uverworld, King Gnu). If you're looking for a J-rock song by Official Higedan, please listen to Fire Ground (live version not studio) by Official Higedan!!
Nissan Stadium was also known as Yokohama Stadium. So this was the venue where One Ok Rock performed during the Mighty Long Fall Tour. Although at that time I don’t think they had as many in the audience as Official Hige Dandism did. The Stadium has 75,000 mounted seats and if you use the field that’s room for more. So I would estimate 70,000-80,000 attendees. And this is the largest venue that they have played so far. So they and Yoasobi have really come a long way in these last few years. I recommend checking out their Music Video for this song. It’s one of their better MVs.
For artists, Nissan Stadium is the pinnacle stage with one of the highest capacities in Japan.
This venue is so strictly judged that only three artists are allowed to use it each year.
The fact that the Hige-Dan stood here is a testament to the fact that they are truly the best artists in Japan.
Mr. Fujihara, who is in charge of vocals, has previously spoken of his admiration for Queen, and performing on this magnificent stage is reminiscent of Queen at Wembley Stadium in the past.
I urge you to see them live in person, you will feel glad to be alive!
If you’re interested in performances or music style like this, I sincerely recommend songs like Cry baby, I Love…, Stand By You, and so many more
Official Hige Dandism is currently one of the most popular bands in Japan. As a fan, I really wish more and more people from other countries could listen to and appreciate their music and the sincerity in their songs. Thank you for everything you did, and welcome to enjoy the world of higedan’s music❤
