  1. Людочка – красотка❤❤❤

Обеим не повезло с соперницей по первому кругу. Рада за Людмилу 🤗🤩

  2. The question now is whether Patrick Moratoglou is actually the right coach for Osaka. I’m not seeing him bring anything new to the table, and from the few short clips I’ve seen on YouTube—just a minute or so each—it looks like he’s doing the same drills he used with Serena. But Osaka isn’t Serena. Serena was a much more complete player, and Osaka has certain shortcomings—technical ones. So he’s going to have to take a different approach.

Maybe it’s time to consider advising her to play smaller tournaments, where the level of competition might be slightly lower. That way, she can actually start winning matches again and build some momentum. Because right now, closing out matches against players ranked around her level—or higher—still seems to be a real struggle for her.

  3. The game has just evolved too far past Naomi’s play style. Even shortly after she won her last AO slam, girls like Sakkari and even Teichmann were figuring out how to absorb Naomi’s power and neutralize her game on her preferred hard court surface.

  4. I feel bad for Osaka. At this point she should just quit tennis and be a full-time mom to that wonderful girl.

  5. Such a joyful victory, very deserved by Samsonova !!! Very well played and thanks Ludmila, you're a great champion in general, an example !

  6. Hope Naomi can get it together but don't want to overshadow all of the amazing players in the WTA at the moment! They are playing!

  7. Naomi needs to make it more difficult for her oponents to get to the ball: More difficult angles, flatter, play more to their backhands and further away from them.

  8. Everyone keeps blaming Osaka’s form for her losses, but honestly, it’s clear that Osaka is too mentally unstable and weak. I say this as a fan of hers. She has got to build the incredible amount of mental fortitude she is lacking. I think she’s just so low mentally, she’s lacking the confidence she once had and isn’t handling losing well anymore. She’s a former champion so she’s expecting results, but she hasn’t learned to adjust her game and mentality. We keep saying the same thing.

I think Osaka still has so much to give but I don’t know if she’s mentally willing to continue this journey. She clearly loves to play, but she is seemingly unwilling to take the journey with the ups and downs of the sport and put in more work than she probably wants to now that she has her daughter. She’s expecting the same results from years ago but naturally with time, things change. New players come in, the game evolves, you get older and so you have to adapt and grow or you just get left behind and this is what is seemingly happening. I don’t think it has to do much with what people think because we’ve seen other moms, notably Serena and Clijsters come back.

  9. Naomi played the 125 k on clay, very interesting she decided to play a packed 500 event instead of the 250….

  10. Самсонова это русская Пегула без состоятельного папы. Усердно пашет и движется вперед.

  11. Красотка Людмила, мои поздравления🎉🎉🎉Одна из моих любимых теннисисток!

  12. Would like to see Osaka play doubles over the summer. Gives her more match play & would help her in singles.

  13. Yet another 6-4 in the third loss for Osaka (she’s had four of them this year, and another match she lost 7-6 in the third). I hope she doesn’t lose patience and quit. Just needs a slight improvement and she’ll start winning

  14. 他の選手に比べて筋肉筋肉していない!自分の高さを勝手に決めているのでは?たまたまそう観えたのかなぁ?

  15. Osaka did drama when she was at her peak. Mental health, maternity break at the age 22-23. She did not love love tennis so tennis is not loving her back

  16. The issue is COMPETING. She’s very fit, moving well, and has a great team….but she is NOT competing. She disappears when she should be present. She’s present and ferocious when it’s irrelevant.

I’m not sure she ENJOYS competing. I don’t think she knows herself as an athlete like she once did. All of her convoluted talk about mental health as pushed her into a corner. I don’t see this changing. I think she was better off getting upset and angry rather than trying to subdue her emotions.

She’s flatlined. I think she is a good person, but definitely not thinking like a competitor anymore.

  17. Naomi needs this kind of match to strengthen her tennis and return to her winning form. On her comebacks, most of her matches were in three sets and that shows her tenacity in playing tennis.
Still looking forward to see Naomi winning matches and championships. She just needs variety, consistency and mental toughness to win every match.
Liudmila did a fantastic job of sticking to her guns and win this match.
    Congratulations to both players.

  18. Ever since Osaka surprisingly sacked her coach Sascha after coaching to win her second Grand Slam at the Australian Open her game has struggled badly .
I'm glad her game is coming together. Hopefully the wins will come because she is evidently working hard.
