えっ⁉ 遠近感ってこうやって出すの?建物がグッとリアルになる構図の魔法
Hi, Hello, this is Shibasaki How are you? How are you? That’s great to hear Shibasaki is also doing well and painting happily today Well, the theme for this time is here Yes Hey This is a text, but you already know that, right? Shibasaki is available every week until the end of June, but there’s not much time left Okay! Maron-chan is calling Yes, yes, I’m sorry Yes, yes On NHK’s E-Tele, it starts at 9:30 PM on Wednesdays I’m appearing on a program that teaches you to master drawing in three months I’m doing various things within that, but This time, from that, you know, the streets change at eye level At that point This eye level and vanishing point I’m talking about the stories needed to depict the depth of a building or a city Today, we will follow that I would like to try painting that scenery you know well Now, I wonder what kind of picture will be completed Well then, please take your time to look at it Alright, let’s give it a try I think I’ll lower it a bit more First, let’s decide on the eye level, like this This is the vanishing point Maybe this way is a bit better It’s the idea that various lines converge towards the vanishing point here So, it’s a building represented by vertical lines Wait, I’ll stop this for a moment I’ll fix it I’ll move the vanishing point further out It’s over here This is the vanishing point There is a vanishing point outside the frame The lines of the buildings converge towards that point, right? When actually sketching like this, The vanishing point isn’t always in the frame I think I’ll try drawing like that again today Yes, that’s right Now, let’s shape it into a building this time Yes It’s a vertical line We will allocate buildings using several vertical lines There are several buildings lined up in the same direction here It’s that kind of place I think you are probably very familiar with this place as well This is the group of warehouses along the Otaru Canal in Otaru, Hokkaido Hey I think those who haven’t been there might have seen it in photos Please enjoy watching it Yes Well, here we have a row of warehouses of various sizes all lined up along the canal in one direction Alright, I’ll draw one of the buildings. Is this the kind of image you had in mind? How about that? Yes The eaves are all going towards the vanishing point outside the left side of the screen, aren’t they? Yes So, this is how it has come to be Especially, there’s a bridge here And from here, it goes this way
like this is the canal Yes It seems that the Otaru Canal took on its current shape in 1981 I think it was 1986 As for the building, I think I’ll draw it a bit more carefully This pillar here, there’s also a pillar over here, you know. I can’t see it though If you cross that part like this, then you do it like this See? Well, I made a mistake here. I notice these kinds of mistakes If you want to learn how to draw a house, please use this as a reference It has now become a tourist destination This Otaru Canal, you know, now the edges are all walkways Actually, I heard that this area used to be all canal as well So it must have expanded to about twice its current size Yes Now, while reminiscing about those times, I will start to draw shapes Yes I always keep an eye on the vanishing point in the distance while I draw This is the roof In a place like this It’s more of an entrance for unloading, probably I will start drawing the mouth there This entrance also has a height like this It goes towards the vanishing point on the left side of the screen, right? That’s important, isn’t it? This is it This is how it feels Yes There’s something attached around this upper area I wonder if the window is attached like this here That’s right.
This window is also on the left side of the screen It’s a relationship towards the vanishing point I wonder how it is Grasping the height of the eye and the vanishing point This is very important for depicting perspective in buildings and such Yes And this bank of the canal is reflecting in the same direction as everyone else, isn’t it? This way, yes Well, it seems like it’s starting to look a bit like a canal, doesn’t it? Don’t think it’s difficult; just make sure to grasp the vanishing point firmly If you try to draw it, you’ll find that you can do it surprisingly well, so please give it a try See, it’s being reflected like this That’s right I wonder how it is You can see the mountains in the distance Otaru is different in the areas facing the sea, though That’s not it. The back part is a mountain, you know I’ll put up a streetlight here Yes It’s a bumpy handrail, so shall we go with that feeling? It’s a streetlight, isn’t it? Yes, I stand tall like this But even so, It’s nice to add something like this, isn’t it? It really feels like a port, doesn’t it? It’s a streetlight Alright, I’ve started to shape it
The sky has clouds like this Okay
Then I think I’ll try painting it Ah, right
I’ll draw a boat here After all, it’s lonely without anything, isn’t it? The sightseeing boat occasionally runs with passengers on board That’s how it feels Okay, then I’ll paint Alright, let’s keep painting Now with pencil drawing Eye level and vanishing point
That creates something I have confirmed the shape of this warehouse building once Keeping that in mind, I will boldly apply the colors now I’ll keep layering the colors, you know Please look forward to it You painted it red at first, right? But it will take an unexpected turn, you know Please take your time to look around Acrylic gouache is really nice, isn’t it? You can truly layer colors freely and abundantly It dries quickly, so you don’t have to wait slowly like with an oil painting It’s really great how I can make quick decisions and keep layering colors to produce results with this art material Look What do you think? The feeling of the sky will change, won’t it? First, the color of the sky Then, determining the brightness of the sky is an important part that influences the painting How you depict the sky For example, it could be the season, the weather, or the time of day Various things can be expressed here, right? Well, the colors have started to overlap quite a bit How is it? Doesn’t it look fun? This is how it is Yes Well, the sky looks a bit brighter further away And I will paint the mountains in the distance It’s a distant view, so the colors are a bit grayish Let’s draw it vaguely It’s quite far in front, though You can see a few tall buildings here, so I’ll sketch that a bit But this is a distant view, you know It’s nice to have a feeling that something might be happening You don’t need to explain it too thoroughly Can you see something that looks like a building? Now, let’s go to the important building Yes It’s a bold dark color from the very beginning That’s right This place was originally the sea according to some documents I saw, but it has been reclaimed I heard it was made into land Yes It seems that there was a warehouse facing the open sea at first, but I suppose there would be some influence from the waves and winds So first, we will fill in some of the sediment to create land, and then we will build structures there On the inside, it’s on the opposite side of the sea They made this a waterway unaffected by waves and winds to load and unload cargo here It seems that this is the prototype of the current Otaru Canal Yes, this is brick It’s quite a flavorful color for brick, isn’t it? Layering colors one after another to create that kind of feeling But when drawing this, the distance and closeness are indeed important Yes I’m talking on NHK, but If it’s the same thing, the farther away it is, the more grayish it becomes and a little brighter, right? Yes Well, this is a somewhat reddish building, isn’t it? Let’s boldly add some color and make it vibrant It is gradually becoming a distant building How about that? Does it start to look like the Otaru Canal? Hey Yes That’s right Buildings are easy to draw, aren’t they? So you mean to draw it in the shape of a box? Bright side, dark side I will depict it as the sunny side and the shaded side Yes, and it’s a canal As expected, this reflects the surrounding situation This is the part of the ground that supports this warehouse in Otaru This is a stone wall It’s like this, right? It’s made of stone walls, isn’t it? Well, it’s the vines that are entwined around this warehouse building, isn’t it? It’s green Green and red are complementary colors, so When green is added here, it becomes much more vibrant Is this how it feels? Yes I wonder how it is Yeah I’ll place the colors down one by one This is the entrance to the warehouse And the roof The roof has a somewhat bluish appearance, like it’s made of corrugated metal It’s a window Is this okay? First, decide on the eye level This time, let’s determine the vanishing point outside the screen on the left side The other vanishing point, of course, is not within the screen; it’s far to the right By determining such vanishing points, we can grasp the shape to a certain extent So, when it comes to coloring, it really means that you can draw with stability For those who think they are a bit bad with buildings, If you like Shibasaki’s videos, please watch them repeatedly Please fill in that part a little Yes I’m trying to capture the feel of a brick color pattern And it’s the blue roof, isn’t it? It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Yes This is the kind of place, isn’t it? It’s a window door, isn’t it? Here we go How about that? If you can grasp the shape at this stage with the pencil, it really makes it easy and enjoyable when it comes time to color Well, maybe a tin roof this time, right here It’s something like that kind of roof, isn’t it? Yes, it feels like this That’s right If you look closely at places like this, they have quite a colorful charm And here is the shape of a small window How does it look? Does it seem like the feeling of the Otaru Canal has a warehouse-like vibe? This is the kind of place, isn’t it? So that’s why, after all So, we are both lined up towards the vanishing point that is outside the left side of the screen, right? I wonder if you can see how it feels now Yes, that’s right It would be great if you could confidently draw this kind of structure Well, regarding the water surface, various things are reflected on it Yes Then, while I’m drawing, I gradually layer the colors I will also make adjustments This is how it is I’ll sketch it roughly In what way should I do this? I would be happy if you could see how I’m using the brush to bring out the touch Yes Is this how it is? It’s really a large brushstroke That’s right When drawing the water surface, it’s best to first draw the main body well, as it makes expressing the water surface easier Yes This prominently red building is reflected on the water’s surface However, since the water is rippling, it slightly distorts the shape with a touch This is also being captured That’s how it is, right? I wonder how it is I’ve visited the Otaru Canal many times, and I’ve been here quite a few times I have had the opportunity to draw here many times It is a very memorable experience Well, the surface of the water and the main body have been depicted with some relation to each other It’s the color of the sunlit area Here and there, I’ve added touches to convey the message that this is made of stone walls So that’s what you mean by being reflected See, the sun is starting to shine, right? Adding bright colors gives the feeling that the sun has suddenly shone through Is this how it is? It’s a bright color, isn’t it? Look, the light is reflecting on the water’s surface Now, let’s move on to the distant view Compared to the foreground, it is relatively a bit brighter and has a grayish color It’s under the bridge, isn’t it? Is this how it is? Yes It somehow feels like the Otaru Canal And I will keep drawing closer and closer Well, this is a boat, isn’t it? How about you? Have you ever been on this boat? I haven’t been to Shibasaki, though I always focus on drawing on land while observing, I would like to try riding it someday It must be fun to try riding it Yes, the boatman is sitting here And this is the customer, right? Yes You are really a small person, aren’t you? I think I’ll go with a slightly noticeable color The boat is sailing Yes, then the sky begins to reflect on the water’s surface It’s a very bright color, isn’t it? What do you think? It’s a bit like this That’s a lot of white, isn’t it? Yes It’s a touch of both horizontal and vertical And then, the handrails on the sidewalk in front, for example, Let’s draw a little of that That’s how it is, right? I think that if you draw this part, it will definitely give the impression of Otaru by limiting the shape of the canal Draw a little more in the distance That’s right Yes At this point, it’s already It’s just a matter of drawing while looking at the whole, so it’s quite enjoyable Yes So it’s the streetlight lamp Around here, right? I wonder if this is how it is Yes Like this, something like that It feels a bit like an exotic port, doesn’t it? When you place something large in the foreground, it emphasizes the perspective and gives the painting a sense of depth Now, I’ll put the white on again No matter what, this acrylic gouache tends to get a little darker as it dries So, I think it’s also a good idea to add bright colors like this to adjust the brightness This is it This is the part I want to emphasize particularly Or, if there are parts where you want to increase the brightness, let’s add bright colors without hesitation That’s how it is The surface of the water is starting to shine Again, a lightly diluted color It’s called a little sauce that is left unpainted, but… You can also apply a light color It is very effective for making the painting a deep and flavorful one That’s right, I’m applying blue right now Yes I wonder how it is Can you see the Otaru Canal? It feels like that What do you think? Yes, this side too
There are some areas I missed painting The sauce is a bit too much, it’s blue, isn’t it? It’s starting to come together, isn’t it? Yes, in the picture How about this? Well then, let’s finish it off with Shibasaki’s signature Today was an expression of the Otaru Canal landscape painting with an awareness of eye level I hope you enjoyed it I added Shibasaki’s signature That’s right Yes
This is now complete Yes, it’s finished It was the Otaru Canal, wasn’t it? How was it? Was it interesting? After all, it’s important to be aware of this eye level It’s really important to think about the sense of depth of that building at the vanishing point In that sense, I would be happy if it was helpful to you Shibasaki will be from July 31 to August 5 I will hold a solo exhibition at the Gallery Utopia in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo Please come and visit! Shibasaki, we will be waiting for you at the venue You will need a free ticket, so please apply from the description of this video Well then, this time Eye level, vanishing point I drew a picture like that Yes See you next time. Shibasaki wants to meet you Until then, please take care of yourself Yes, thank you very much

謝謝你的分享,
建物を描くときの注意点が良くわかりました。ありがとうございます。
それにしても味わいのある美しい風景ですね。
I would rather hear the Japanese. It's good listening practice for me. ^^
