I am currently at Terminal 1 of Haneda Airport, and today I will be going on a 3 night 4 day trip to the main island of Okinawa. The long-awaited opening of “Junglia” on July 25th is attracting a lot of attention, and this time I will introduce to you a trip to experience the nature of the northern part of the main island of Okinawa. Well, I’m off. I arrived at Naha Airport. I ‘m going to rent a car and plan to go to a famous steak restaurant for lunch, so I’d like to go there. After renting a car, I’m leaving for the north. It’s really beautiful even from inside the car, but it’s amazing. We arrived . We arrived exactly one hour. It ‘s cash only. It ‘s lunchtime on Mondays. I came here at 12:30, but there were four groups waiting. There weren’t as many people in line as I thought. It got really crowded in no time and the number of people waiting increased all at once. Maybe it was just good timing. I heard the pies are also delicious, but they were cheese and blueberry mixed pie. The apple and blueberry were sold out, so the wait time was less than 20 minutes. I was able to get in after about 15 minutes . Let’s eat. The soup has arrived. It’s light, amazing. The soup tastes like a side dish to the steak. It’s quite rare. It looks delicious ! You can eat hamburgers in the morning, eggs benedict, make your favorite rice balls, eat ice cream, eat donuts, and ride the water slide. It’s so much fun to come as a family. It has a unique feel, but these piles of stones The way it’s piled is called “Nozura-mimi”, where stones are piled up naturally without being shaped. It’s packed in with such a beautiful balance. Gusuku is a castle in Okinawa, and it was apparently about the same size as Shuri Castle . Now it’s just stone walls like this, but it’s fun just to think about what kind of castle it was. There aren’t many people, so it’s easy to get around. This is the main part now, but the atmosphere is a little different here. This place is called “Utaki”, and is said to be a very sacred place for Okinawans. Even today, locals come here to pray. So, Nakijin Castle Ruins is more compact than I thought, and it’s a large area that can be easily explored in about 30 minutes. I’m heading to Sadahama Beach, located about 1.5km from the Nakijin Castle ruins, and I’m told Sadahama Beach is a secret beach like a natural jewel box. It’s like a hill… It’s a beautiful place where you can get drone-like scenery even without flying a drone, and it’s become increasingly popular as a filming location recently, having been used in the music video for K-Pop group TWICE and the morning drama “Chimudontoka.” As it’s a natural beach, there are no artificial facilities and it has the tranquility of a private beach, so I’ll go and check it out. This is the Kouri Ohashi Bridge! It looks like you can go swimming in the sea, too ! Here we are, we found a cave. There is a legend that a man and woman who came down from the sky started living here and their descendants became the beginning of the Ryukyu people. It is said to be the “beginning of mankind” and a place for praying for marriage and children.
