While Joaika was collecting bamboo in the forest, an unexpected stumble on a branch caused her to lose her balance and fall to the ground. Although the fall wasn’t serious, she found herself alone with no one nearby to help her. In the deep silence of the forest, Joaik lay, unable to get up. Although the pain wasn’t unbearable, her body was gripped by a feeling of vulnerability that kept her immobile. At that moment, she could only fight the growing pain that invaded her body, unable to do anything but wait. Filled with tension. A little later, when the pain began to subside, Joaika could feel the rhythm of her breathing, and her mind began to clear. The fall had been hard, hitting her head against a tree, but in a matter of seconds, memories she had thought forgotten returned with a vengeance. She remembered those peaceful moments in her small home, where she and Tony lived happily, surrounded by love. Those were afternoons when she played with Tony and the house was filled with laughter and simple joy. Despite the difficulties, at least in that home, she felt the warmth of love and the peace she so desperately needed. Then an image of a simple meal appeared in her mind, a meal shared with Jung and Tony. On the table were only vegetables and fish, but that didn’t matter. The most important thing was the moment when they sat together sharing short stories and warm laughter in a modest space. Despite life’s challenges, they always managed to find happiness in the simplest things, and she could feel Hun’s deep appreciation for her and Tony. But painful memories immediately came flooding back. She remembered Hung’s mother, that cruel woman who always interfered with their happiness, seeking to destroy what she had built. She never accepted that Juaik was a single mother and always tried to prevent Hung from getting close to her, all because she didn’t want her son to be with a woman who already had a child. These confrontations always left Joaik scarred, but she could do nothing but stand her ground and carry on. Soon, as her chaotic thoughts began to calm, Joaik opened her eyes as if nothing had happened. She stood up, tried to remain steadfast, and once again perceived the silence of the forest around her. The pain had already subsided, but her mind was still caught up in sad memories and worries. However , she couldn’t let those emotions rule her. Joaik knew she had to move forward, that she couldn’t allow obstacles to stop her. She stood up, regained her composure, and continued on her way, knowing that there were still many difficulties ahead of her. At that moment, Joaik had made a firm decision not to leave Joaik behind in the forest no matter what happened. After saying goodbye to her mother, she placed her walking stick on her shoulder and once again set off into the vast forest to search for her. Her mother had given her detailed instructions before she left. She knew how worried Ja was about Joaik. and I didn’t want him to face it More dangers, but he also understood that he couldn’t give up. He followed the familiar path that led him to the heart of the forest, walking stick in hand, advancing amid the silence of nature. Every now and then, he shouted, trying to get a response from Joaika, calling her name desperately. Joaika oi emoyau. However, in the vast space and with the sound blocked by the treetops, his voice didn’t reach her. It seemed to be only a small glimmer of light in a sea of jungle shadows. He couldn’t stop thinking about her. About the memories shared during the times they had overcome together. He couldn’t forget the image of Joaika. That single mother, always strong and determined, despite the difficulties she faced. His legs were starting to feel heavy after all that walking, but he couldn’t stop. How could he give up when she was out there somewhere in the forest, needing his help more than ever? Ah, he paused for a moment, leaning against a tree trunk, his gaze lost in the horizon, trying to find some peace in his heart. He wondered if Joaika had tried to find her way back, if perhaps she had gotten up and continued on her own. He couldn’t leave her alone in the forest when he could still do something to help her. He couldn’t stand the uncertainty any longer. He shouted again, his voice echoing through the woods, ” Ju oy m Ya roy.” This time his cry faded into the air without any response. He couldn’t let the silence defeat him. Ah, he stood up, gripped his cane with determination, and his eyes reflected a firm resolve. The road ahead was still long, full of obstacles and difficulties. Although his body was exhausted and his feet swollen from walking so much, Ha, he wasn’t thinking of giving up; there was only one thought on his mind: to keep going, to keep searching, and not give up. He couldn’t turn back, he couldn’t allow Joaika to face the danger alone. Every step he took was a promise to himself, a promise that he would find her, that he would bring her back safely. With that hope in his heart, he kept going without looking back. He was sure he would find her, and then together they would overcome any challenge as they had so many times before. Ah, he wasn’t going to allow this time to be any different. On the other side, Joaik couldn’t afford to fail either. She couldn’t give up even though her heart was filled with worry and confusion. With each step she took, she felt the exhausting loneliness slowly creeping in. She had to continue even though the path was difficult, even though her legs were tired, even though the darkness of the forest grew ever thicker. Joaika tried to scream, but her voice was lost in the emptiness of the forest. Ja hoy, cu toy. Her screams seemed almost in vain without any response. The feeling of despair began to take hold of her, but in that moment, she told herself she couldn’t give up. She couldn’t give up because she still had Tony. There were still beliefs and hopes she couldn’t abandon. She walked a little further, but her aching feet wouldn’t let her go any faster. She felt she was running out of steam, so she decided to rest for a moment. She sat by a stream, splashing the cool water over her face to regain some strength. The cold water gave her a burst of confidence, helping her find some calm. She got up again and continued walking along the narrow path through the trees, hoping to find her way back. Along the way, Joaica saw a tree with fruit. She climbed it with difficulty, picked some, and tasted them without hesitation. At first, the taste was bitter, but she soon realized that the fruit was edible. She picked more and put them in her bag, saving them for when hunger struck. She knew it wasn’t the ideal solution, but at least it would help stave off her hunger for a while. She kept walking, but her exhausted legs grew heavier and heavier. She couldn’t go on. She had to stop and rest. She sat wondering how long she’d walked, wondering if she’d found her if she was still looking for her in the woods. She felt lost, not knowing where she was or where to go. Then every sound in the woods frightened her, and every step she took seemed heavier than the last. Hunger It also made everything even more uncomfortable. Looking around, she spotted a nearby palm tree. Determined not to give up, she quickly approached it. She began cutting away some branches and leaves, looking for the trunk she could eat. She worked hard in the dim light, each stroke of her knife echoing in the air, giving her more strength to keep going. After a long while, she finally managed to expose a piece of the trunk. She cut it and tasted it. Although it wasn’t tasty, at least that piece of trunk would allow her to satisfy her hunger a little. She finished the piece she had cut, even though it wasn’t enough to feel completely full. She decided to store what was left in her basket, hoping that when hunger struck again, she would have some food to keep her going. Juai K. got up and continued on her way. Despite her body’s tiredness , despite the wounds that still hadn’t healed, she couldn’t give up. She knew the path ahead would still be long and that the deep forest might cause her to lose her way, but she couldn’t afford to fail. Every step she took was a promise to herself, a promise that she would find her way out, that she would never give up hope. As her feet touched a small stream, she felt the coolness of the water flowing between the stones, bringing with it the gentle breath of nature. The clean water renewed her as if all her tiredness and fatigue melted away in the fresh air around her. She couldn’t remember the last time she had felt so free, so alive. Without thinking, she removed her sweat-drenched clothes and immersed herself in the crystal-clear water, letting it caress her body and wash away her accumulated worries. But she couldn’t stay long. She knew her only hope was herself. She quickly washed her sweat-soaked clothes and sat for a moment by the stream, enjoying the relief of this respite that nature offered her. As she changed into clean clothes, she felt freshness invade her body, even though fatigue lingered, but she was ready. Joaika breathed deeply, gathered all the energy in her exhausted legs, and continued her march. The path ahead remained uncertain, but she knew that with each step she was closer to her goal. No matter how arduous the journey, she would not stop until she found the way out. Her sole purpose now was to escape that forest and return to her son. Nothing would stop her, no matter the challenges, because in her heart, love and hope remained the most powerful forces to overcome any obstacle. Ah, not anymore. Not one more day. After an endless day of searching the forest tirelessly, she still hadn’t managed to find a single clue about Joaika’s whereabouts. Anxiety pounded her chest like a raging wave, preventing her from concentrating on anything but her disappearance. Every sigh of frustration was a cruel reminder of her failure. He could do nothing but keep walking along the narrow paths, exploring every corner of the forest in the hope of finding her, even if it was just a tiny footprint, but she was nowhere to be found. In his despair, he began to console himself, imagining that perhaps Joaika had managed to find her way back home. She was a strong and resilient woman; she wouldn’t be defeated so easily. So he decided to turn back and leave the forest, hoping that when he got home, he would find Joaika there safe and sound. But what he didn’t know was that while he was searching for the way out, Joaika remained lost alone deep in the forest, with no one around her, accompanied only by the wind and strange sounds of nature. Ja’s mother, Mrs. B, was also consumed by worry. Hours passed without any news of her son, nor did she leave Ikik, and her heart felt heavy with uncertainty. He didn’t know how long Ja had been searching or if she was okay. He could only sit there praying, hoping God would protect the young woman. The minutes stretched on, and she didn’t know how long she’d been in that anguish, only that every second was filled with tension and anxiety. When H returned home, she found her mother sitting in a corner, her eyes swollen from crying. Fear had never seemed so real and close. He leaned closer to her, his voice trembling as he asked, “Mom, has Joaika returned?” She looked up, her eyes reflecting sadness. “No, son, I haven’t seen her,” her voice breaking. “You found her. Why are you coming back alone?” Mrs. Bey’s words continued to reproach her for the pain of loss. It made her fear even more for her daughter. Despite her anguish, Mrs. B tried to remain calm and think about what to do. She would call the neighbors, ask for help organizing a search. They couldn’t leave Joaika alone in the woods. A listened to his mother’s words, but felt like she was helpless. How could she find Joaika if she didn’t even know where to start? Then she remembered someone who could help Hung. After all, Hung was a police officer and could mobilize more people to search for her, but mother and son didn’t know how to contact him. At that moment, Hung’s motorcycle appeared in the distance. The roar of the engine cut through the afternoon silence. Upon arriving, it stopped in front of the house, and Junk got off the motorcycle, carrying a carton of milk with him. He entered the house and gently greeted Mrs. Be. Her face clearly reflected concern, as if something heavy were pressing on her heart. Upon seeing Hung, Mrs. Be quickly stood up and invited him in. She sighed deeply, her face reflecting anxiety. “It’s a good thing you came. I was about to look for you to ask a favor.” Hun sat down, his eyes briefly scanning Mrs. Be’s face before answering softly. “I brought some milk for Tony and took the opportunity to come see Joaica.” But Mrs. B couldn’t remain silent any longer. She tried to sit up straight, but her expression couldn’t hide her unease. She suddenly said, “I have something I need to tell you.” Jun straightened in his seat, his eyes fixed on her, sensing the seriousness in his words. “What’s wrong?” he asked, his voice trembling slightly as his hands clenched the carton of milk. A couldn’t remain silent and after apologizing to Hung, he began to speak with a look full of anguish. “Joaik! She came with me to the forest to look for bamboo, but unfortunately she got lost. She hasn’t returned yet, and darkness is already falling . Hearing this, Hung felt as if a bolt of lightning had struck him. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard. He stood speechless, a feeling of despair filling his chest. He had lost Jua again. Why? Why always him? But Hung was a resilient person; he knew he couldn’t let panic get the better of him right now. He took a deep breath to calm himself and try to regain his composure. There isn’t much time left. The administrative shift is over. Now we can only ask the villagers for help searching for her. If we don’t find her tomorrow, then we’ll report her missing to the local authorities for support. Mrs. Be looked at Jung, her eyes full of hope. “You’re right. I also believe there is no other option. We must find her at all costs.” The three Jun H and Mrs. Bay no longer had time to waste. They couldn’t afford to stop. They headed to the village in the hope of finding help from the kind villagers there. Every house they came to brought with it a spark of hope. And every villager, no matter how busy or tired, didn’t hesitate to accept her plea. Every step they took from one house to another was a constant effort filled with determination. Joaik woke up in the cold, lonely forest, surrounded by birdsong and the cool morning breeze. The night before, she’d been forced to improvise a bed of banana leaves on the ground. Although her body was exhausted, her muscles aching from the uncomfortable night she spent without a break, her heart brimmed with determination. She slowly got up. Her eyes wandered to the horizon where the first rays of the sun were beginning to filter through the leaves, illuminating the peaceful landscape. Joaik told herself that today would be the day she found a way out, the day she returned home, to her beloved Tony. She remembered the difficult days in the forest, those moments of loneliness and despair, when she felt completely lost. But she wasn’t going to give up, not after traveling so far through the wilderness with no one around her, relying only on her own inner strength. To face the challenges ahead, Joaika knew she had to keep going no matter what the road held. She took a deep breath, seeking the strength to face whatever lay ahead in the day ahead. Fatigue still weighed on her body, but her iron will wouldn’t allow her to stop. She stood up, pushed aside the branches that surrounded her, and took the first step with the hope, however small, that one day she would be able to hug Tony again, her son, whom she missed so much. Despite not knowing if she would ever make it out of that forest in her heart, Joaika was certain that every step brought her closer to her family. She wasn’t going to give up, she wasn’t going to take a step back. Even though the darkness of the forest still enveloped her, she was ready to face whatever came with one hope: to return to her son, to return to her family. At that very moment, Hung and the members of his search team were at the edge of the forest, where all their hopes were focused on a single mission: finding Joaika. They had previously gone together, but due to the vast expanse of the forest and the need to explore every corner, they decided to split up to increase their chances of discovering some clue about her whereabouts. Each of them was determined, their hearts filled with anxiety and longing. They knew that any sign, no matter how small, could be the key to finding Juaika. That’s why they couldn’t afford to waste a single second. As they moved forward, their eyes scanned every branch, every leaf, every faint footprint on the ground in the hope of finding something that would lead them to her. Each of their steps grew heavier as they went deeper into the forest. They tried not to lose hope, even though everything around them seemed to invite them to give up. Each one kept telling themselves that Joaika could still be there waiting for someone to find her. One by one, they advanced cautiously, not daring to stray too far, fearing that if they didn’t see each other, they would lose the opportunity to continue the search. They didn’t want to miss any opportunity. They all shared the same belief: if they persisted and didn’t give up, they would find Joaik. They trusted that something magical would happen, that Joaik would reappear and return to his family. In each of their hearts, besides worry, there was a spark of hope. They didn’t allow themselves to think of the worst. They only wanted to hear Joaik’s voice, to see her return strong and determined as before. And so, without ceasing, they continued walking, searching tirelessly, without stopping, with a single idea in mind: to find Joaik and return her to her home, to her family. After a long period walking through the forest, everyone’s legs were exhausted, but they didn’t stop. They continued searching for Joaik, hoping to find her soon. Upon reaching a fork in the road, the four members of the group decided to rest for a moment, brainstorm ways to continue the search, and make a plan to avoid wasting time. As they rested, everyone could feel the tension and fatigue growing. They couldn’t stop thinking about Joaik, and worry and anxiety were beginning to take over their minds. Unable to wait any longer, they decided to get up and move on. They couldn’t afford to give up despite the difficulties and challenges they still had to face. Not long after they had continued near the place where they rested, Jung suddenly discovered a palm tree that had been stripped of its leaves and cut down at its trunk. This was a clear sign they couldn’t ignore. It was a clue to Joaik’s whereabouts. He quickly informed the others, and the group gathered to review the situation. The team members realized that Joaik wasn’t that far away and that they seemed to be following the same path she had taken earlier. These small traces, although barely visible, showed they were headed in the right direction. The group continued following the trail and then split into three different directions with Each one following their own path. As he walked, he was the first to find the place where Joaika had spent the night. It was nothing more than some simple banana leaves used as a makeshift bed. Nothing extraordinary. But those small details sparked hope in everyone’s hearts. They had found an important clue. These traces not only confirmed that Joaika hadn’t gone too far, but also indicated that she was trying to find her way back on her own. They couldn’t stop thinking about her situation. Was she safe, or had she been hurt? After discovering Joaika’s footprints, the group met again to discuss and plan their next move. They decided to split up once more, follow the previously chosen directions, and if anyone found any more clues, they were to report it immediately so as not to waste time. Although exhausted, their steps remained steadfast. In the hearts of each of them, there was a deep conviction. Joaika was still there waiting for their help. Joaika, for her part, didn’t allow herself to give up. Despite her exhausted body, aching muscles , and tired legs, she continued forward with determination. Every step she took was a constant struggle between fear and hope. She knew that if she stopped any longer, she wouldn’t be able to continue, so she only allowed herself to rest briefly, trying to regain the strength to continue. While she rested, an idea suddenly crossed her mind. She decided to follow the course of the stream she had bathed in the day before, hoping that if she followed it, she could find her way to the village and find someone who could help her. She knew the stream could lead her to some inhabited place, and that was her only hope at that moment. Without letting anxiety get the better of her, Joaika quickly got up and headed back toward the stream she had discovered the day before. The cold water flowed between the rocks as if trying to comfort her at that very moment. Despite her tiredness, she couldn’t afford to waste any more time. She knew that if she didn’t take action immediately, she wouldn’t have another chance. With each passing second, she felt worry and fatigue crush her even more, but she couldn’t let defeat take hold. Joaika moved forward, following the stream in the hope of finding her way out of the forest. She didn’t dare think about what would happen if she didn’t find anyone who could help her. This was her only chance to save herself, and she wasn’t about to let it slip away. Every step, though heavy, was filled with hope. She knew that only by continuing forward without stopping could she keep her faith in a better future alive. The sky began to darken, with small rain showers falling gently, creating a somber atmosphere in the forest. Mrs. B stood beside them, worried, asking each member of the group how the search was going. They all replied that they hadn’t yet found any trace of Joaika. Despite their efforts, the clues they’d found weren’t enough to get close to her. A feeling of exhaustion and frustration enveloped everyone, as if all the day’s effort had been for nothing. The group reunited once more with tired looks and weary legs. Each of them felt the weight of a full day searching the forest, but despite their tiredness, they still held onto a glimmer of hope. Although the clues they had found weren’t enough to determine Joaika’s whereabouts, they knew that if they continued like this, the chances of finding her grew increasingly remote. Finally, they decided they could wait no longer. The group decided to return and notify the local authorities in the hopes of receiving support from rescue teams to continue the search. Joaika finally found her way out of the dark forest where she had wandered for endless days. Exhausted from fatigue, she decided to follow the course of a stream in the hopes that it would lead her to a place that could show her the way back home. After a long journey filled with obstacles, she finally came to a wider path. However, upon reaching that path, she felt lost, unable to remember how to get back to her home. Everything seemed blurry before her eyes. Despite the uncertainty, hope remained alive in her heart. She decided to keep walking, confident that by continuing on her path she would find her home. She didn’t allow herself to give up. In a clearing in the forest, next to a stream, she stopped to wash her face, trying to clear her mind and regain her strength. Inside, she kept saying, “I can’t stop. I have to go back home.” She continued her journey, and every time she met someone along the way, she asked for directions, hoping they could help her find her way back. However, each person she met didn’t know how to direct her. Then she met an old shepherd who, although understanding, didn’t know where she should go. Joaika felt despair take hold of her, but with determination, she continued. A little further on, she came across an elderly woman carrying her grandson in her arms. Joaika asked her for help, but the woman didn’t know the way either. Desperate, Joaika had only one option: to keep going. With her body exhausted and hunger sapping her strength, her spirits didn’t waver. Finally, after a long walk, she saw a house in the distance. With no other options, she headed there hoping for help. Upon entering, she found a young man inside the house. She didn’t hesitate to ask him for directions to her home. The young man looked at her for a moment and said, “Your home is about 100 km from here.” Although the news discouraged her a little, at least now she knew she was going in the right direction. She continued her journey and further ahead met a woman who pointed out a nearby shortcut, saving her some time. After some conversation, the woman understood her situation and realized how long Joaika had been lost without finding her way back. Aika thanked her and continued on her way, aware that although she was exhausted and hunger was nearly overpowering her, she couldn’t stop. Every step brought her closer to her home, where Tony and Hung, her loved ones, were waiting for her with open arms. Hunk arrived at the police station, his heart heavy with worry. He knew that only with the help of the authorities could he find Jua, who had disappeared and with whom he had lost all contact for days. With his heart full of hope and anxiety, he entered the office after a brief conversation with the officers, in which he inquired about their well-being and work. He couldn’t wait any longer and got straight to the point. “I’m here today for something very important,” Hung began, his voice tense and urgent. “I need your help to find my loved one. She has disappeared in a nearby forest. I haven’t heard from her for days and I’m very worried.” The officer listened attentively with a look full of empathy. After a brief silence, the officer asked about Joaik’s physical characteristics in order to identify her and facilitate the search. “Can you describe her? What is her build? What clothes was she wearing?” he asked in a calm, but responsible tone. Jung felt a void in his chest. His memories of her seemed blurry in his mind. He quickly looked at his cell phone. “I really can’t remember what clothes she was wearing. I only know that she is short, has long hair, and always wears a calm expression. I have some pictures, but I can’t remember exactly what she was wearing at the moment,” he replied with a tone of frustration evident in his voice. The officer nodded in understanding and asked him to show the pictures. Hung quickly took out his phone and showed him the images, pointing out what little he could remember. Although he couldn’t provide exact details about her clothing, he at least hoped the photos could be useful in the search. Armed with the information, the officer began meticulously taking notes and discussed possible search strategies with his colleagues. We will coordinate with the rescue teams and begin immediately. Rest assured. We will do everything possible to find her. Jung felt a small sense of relief upon hearing the officer’s determination. At least he was no longer alone in the search; everything seemed to have a clearer direction now . He thanked the officer and prepared to leave. As he stood up, Hung looked at the official with an expression of gratitude. “Thank you very much. I hope to hear some good news soon, ” her voice softened now, though her anxiety was still present. The officer smiled and squeezed her shoulder. “We’ll do everything in our power. Rest assured, someone will help you.” Hung thanked her once more before leaving the police station. Once outside, she felt some of the weight on her chest lift. She knew the search for Joaik wouldn’t be easy, but at least now she had the backing of the authorities. Hunger plagued Joaik, preventing her from continuing down the long road. She felt exhausted and desperate, but she had no choice but to look for a place where she could eat. Suddenly, she saw a small noodle stand by the side of the road. She thought about what she could do in exchange for a bowl of noodles. Maybe that would help her overcome her hunger. Without hesitation, she decided to go inside. Inside the store, Joaik didn’t hesitate to tell her story to the owner. She sincerely explained that she just wanted to do some work to earn a bowl of noodles. The woman, upon hearing her, She showed empathy and decided to give it a chance. “If you want to work, you can help me clean the place,” the owner offered, and Joaik immediately got to work. She started wiping down tables, collecting dishes, and organizing the place neatly. She worked nonstop, hoping that her efforts would be rewarded. All the while, her mind kept wandering to Tony and Hung. She wondered if they would be okay if they were worried about her if they missed her. The questions kept coming back to her, but she couldn’t stop. She needed to work to feed herself, regain her strength, and keep going. Not only did she clean, but she also helped the owner by carrying the noodle dishes to customers and washing them one by one. Each dish she washed was one step closer to filling her empty stomach. Although she felt fatigue, she also experienced some peace, knowing that this simple job was helping her overcome her hunger. She thought of her loved ones in the home she was looking for and encouraged herself to continue. When the work was done, the owner served her a bowl of noodles, complete with meat, fresh vegetables, and seasonings, much more abundant than the bowls she usually served to customers. Joaika couldn’t contain her excitement. She looked at the bowl and then looked up at the owner, her eyes brimming with tears. ” Thank you so much,” she said, her voice breaking. The owner looked at her with understanding eyes and said gently, “Eat, you need to regain your strength. Don’t worry, everything will be fine.” After eating, Joaika felt much better. She didn’t rush to get up, but instead stood there washing her own bowl. Every small gesture brought her a little more calm, as if things were finally taking shape. When everything was finished, Joaika decided to say goodbye to the owner. Before she left, the woman gave her one last recommendation: “Hurry up, night is falling. Be careful on the road.” Joaika nodded and thanked her. As she was about to leave, the owner called her again and gave her two packets of instant noodles. “Take these for the road, because you’re feeling hungry,” she said with concern in her eyes. Joaika, somewhat shy, accepted the packets and thanked her once more. With a final farewell, Joaika left the store and continued on her way. Every step she took now represented not only that of someone lost, but that of someone who refused to give up. Determinedly, she continued forward, knowing that the road was still long and challenging. But at least she no longer felt alone on her journey. She would continue on her way with the hope that one day soon she would be reunited with her loved ones. More than seven days have passed, and Joaika still hasn’t managed to find her way back home. She is about 100 km from home, a distance that seems insurmountable. Every step she takes is a test, a constant struggle against her own body, which is beginning to give in to fatigue. However, a flame of hope still burns in her heart. She knows this is the only path that will lead her back to the arms of her son Tony and the warmth of her family, especially Hung, who has always been there for her. By her side in the most difficult moments. Although exhausted and on the verge of collapse, Joaika doesn’t give up. Day after day, she keeps walking, her feet tired but determined to keep moving forward. She finds herself lost among the bustling city streets, surrounded by a sea of people rushing past, the deafening noise of cars and the endlessly flashing neon lights. A fast-paced world full of busy people who don’t seem to notice her presence. A woman lost in the middle of the crowd, not knowing which path will lead her back home. But Joaika isn’t afraid. She can see a flickering light in the distance, a sign, a spark of faith that tells her she’ll soon be home, even if the road is still long. She knows that with patience and determination, her destiny will be fulfilled. Every day that passes brings her one step closer to her family, to the people she loves. Although she feels lost in the middle of this frenetic city, her heart has only one purpose: to return home. Babai and Va Ja lived with growing anxiety, as news about Joaika remained uncertain. Day after day they searched tirelessly, but each call only brought the empty echo of an unanswered phone. The endless wait had drained Babai’s strength and hope. In a moment of desperation, she called Hung, seeking any trace of help in the search for Joaika. After a brief conversation, Hung informed her that he had decided to take the day off to meet with Babai and Ja and rethink the search strategy. Upon hearing this, Babai breathed a sigh of relief, as at least that day she wouldn’t have to face the anguish alone. With Hung’s arrival, the three sat in the living room, the atmosphere charged with a tense calm, as if everyone knew the road ahead would not be easy. Bay, determined, expressed her intention. “I’m going with Ja to look for her in the village. I can’t just sit there waiting.” But both Ja and Hung agreed. They felt that men would be more effective in the search. Mother, stay home, we’ll go. If you go alone, you’ll hurt yourself more, Ja said firmly. Jun, with his serious expression, also agreed. We’ll take the road that leads to the other district, and you stay here searching the nearby villages. Maybe someone has seen Joaika. Babai looked at the two of them. Her heart wavered for a moment, but then with determination she said, “I understand, but I can’t just sit here idly. I’ll go to the nearby villages. Maybe someone can help me.” They didn’t want their mother to go alone, though . Ja and Jung understood her need and let her go. So the two of them hopped on their motorcycle, setting off on a long and difficult journey to another district in the hopes of finding some trace of Joaika. They knew the road would be arduous, but they also knew it was their only hope of finding her. Babai, filled with worry, didn’t rest. When Hung and Ja left , she decided to walk along the country roads that led to the nearby villages. The humble houses and quiet streets of the village offered her some faint comfort. And with every step she held out hope that some villager might recognize Joaika or at least give her a lead to continue the search. Babai kept asking everyone she met, from the markets to the scattered houses. Time and again, the answer was the same. herself. No one knew where Joaica was. But she didn’t give up. Every refusal strengthened her resolve, and she kept going. She knew that it was enough to find just one person, to receive a small sign, for the search to become the key that would lead her back to the daughter who had disappeared. Joaica continued on her way. Although her feet were already tired, her spirit remained steadfast. She walked through the familiar streets, lined with those old houses that had always seemed familiar, until suddenly she came across an all-too-familiar sight. A place she had visited countless times with Hung and Tony. It was the amusement park, the one they used to go to on weekends, enjoying the laughter and family joy. Everything looked the same. The Ferris wheels, the games full of bright colors. which continued to shine in the sun. However, upon entering, Jika didn’t feel the happiness she’d once experienced, but rather a deep sense of sadness and nostalgia. She stood still, her gaze fixed on the Ferris wheels, the place where she used to laugh alongside Hung and Tony, the place that held the happiest memories. The image of Hung hugging Tony, of the three of them, playing together, eating sweets, and chatting happily under the sunset light, invaded her mind. At that moment, everything seemed perfect and peaceful, but now she found herself alone in that same place, without Junk by her side, without Tony running and jumping as he used to. The sweet memories of those happy days made her feel a deep ache in her heart. She remembered those moments when the family was together, enjoying every moment with complete happiness. However, deep down, Jika knew that she couldn’t let those memories bring her down. She couldn’t allow the pain to hold her back. She remembered the words she had promised herself: “I will not give up. I will return to my son as soon as possible.” Those words were not just empty promises, but the source of her strength to continue on this arduous journey. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the emotions overwhelming her. She looked around one last time and continued walking. Each step, though slow and exhausted, was filled with determination. She knew she couldn’t stop here, that this was not her final destination. She had to keep going, overcome the pain and heartbreaking emotions, to return to her son and Hung, where he truly belonged. With all the strength she had left, Juaika kept going. She no longer looked back, no longer dwelled on the past. Each step was a new decision, an act affirming that she would not give up. She would not allow the happy memories to turn into regrets. Her only goal was to return to Tony and Hung so that those memories would never transform into something she could no longer achieve. Finally, after a long and tiring journey, Joaika reached a bridge near her destination. Her fatigue and anxiety seemed to fade a little at the sight of the familiar bridge she used to cross with Hung and Tony. As she paused, searching for a way to continue her journey, she met a strange young woman whose kind and friendly gaze gave her a sense of confidence. Joaika, her face marked by fatigue, approached and asked the girl directions to her home. After listening to Joaika’s story, the young woman realized that her home was still quite far away and she didn’t want to tire her out any further. With a warm smile, she offered her some money to help her take a ride. Grateful, she kept saying thank you before saying goodbye and following the young woman’s directions. Despite walking a long distance, Jay K was still uneasy because although she saw she was close to the bus station, she still wasn’t sure she was on the right path. It was then that she saw another young woman nearby and decided to ask one more time to make sure she wasn’t lost. This new girl, noticing Joaik’s concern and understanding her situation, didn’t hesitate to offer her help by taking her to the station. She called a young man to assist Joaik. The young man, with a kind attitude, immediately agreed. He walked her to near the bus station, chatting softly as they walked. Finally, they arrived, and he stopped, looking around. After checking that everything was in order, he indicated to Joaika, “This is your bus, you can get on. You’re almost home.” Joaika felt a deep relief, as if a heavy burden had been lifted from her chest. She didn’t forget to thank both the young woman and the young man who had accompanied her. Before leaving, the young man asked her if she had money for the trip. Aika smiled and replied, “The girl on the bridge already gave it to me.” Hearing this, the young man smiled with relief and wished her a safe trip before quickly leaving. With a lighter heart, Joaika boarded the bus as the vehicle began to move. He looked out the window and in his mind the memories of Hung and Tony emerged once again. She couldn’t wait any longer. She longed to be reunited with her beloved son. The tiredness and sadness of the journey were beginning to fade, replaced by hope and excitement for what was to come. What will happen in the next chapter? Will Joaika make it home and reunite with Tony and Hung, or will she remain trapped in a strange city, belonging nowhere?
