Hello. This time I made the third mountain ranking video. This time, the theme is the top 5 mountain huts in the Northern Alps that I want to stay at again. In the last three years, I have stayed at more than 30 mountain huts in the Northern Alps for a total of more than 40 nights. Among them, I will introduce 5 carefully selected mountain huts that I truly want to stay at again. I think that what people want from a mountain hut really varies from person to person, but in my case, I place importance on the beauty of the view and the satisfaction of the food. So I based this ranking on those two points. I go into detail about the climbing route, the actual cost, and the time it took in each climb in the Vlog. I’ve included links to all of them in the video description, so feel free to check them out too. The first mountain hut in the Northern Alps that I would like to stay at again is Sugoroku-goya. It is located very close to Sugoroku-dake, at the intersection of the Nishikama Ridge leading to Yari-ga-take and the traverse route leading to Mitsumata Renge-dake and the Kurobe source area It is located in my favorite mountain range, so I personally want to go there every year There are several climbing routes, but the Koike Shindo trail from Shinhotaka Onsen is relatively easy to walk The trail is well maintained, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. You’ll pass through Wasabi-daira and Kagami-daira huts, so there’s plenty to enjoy along the way. It’s also a good idea to stay at Sugoroku hut for a few nights and then hike up Mt. Washu and Mt. Kasagatake. Recommended spots for morning sunburn are the classic Sky Runway, and for something a little different, Mt. Momozawa. The specialty tempura is superb for dinner here. It’s amazing how they can keep the batter so crispy. The silkworm room can be separated by a curtain, so it feels private, and it’s convenient to be able to organize your luggage in the hallway. The bathroom is bright and has multiple mirrors, which is a nice touch. The staff are always kind and reassuring. You can stay there. I love the reservation site of the Sugoroku hut group because it is easy to use, but I have the impression that the reservations fill up quickly. The second mountain hut in the Northern Alps that I would like to stay at again is Kumonodaira Sanso. Kumonodaira Sanso is located in the deepest part of the Northern Alps: Kumonodaira. It stands alone in my heart No matter which route you take, it’s long and difficult, but it gives you a special feeling and a sense of accomplishment I entered the mountain from the Oritate trailhead, passed through Tarodaira hut, and took two days to get there It takes about 15 minutes to get to Mt. Baa behind the hut. , you can enjoy 360° paradise with just a light climb. From Mt. Jii, about an hour and a half away from the hut, you can see the famous mountains of the Northern Alps such as Yari and Hotaka, so we recommend including it in your mountain climbing plans together with Kumonodaira Sanso. The building is clean and has a warm wooden feel, making it very relaxing. It is a stylish mountain hut both inside and out. The specialty stone hotpot was full of ingredients such as salmon, chicken, and root vegetables, and the taste was perfect for a body that had walked a lot. Reservations are hard to come by, and fill up quickly regardless of whether it’s a weekday or weekend. The third mountain hut in the Northern Alps that I would like to stay at again is Asahigoya. No matter which climbing route you choose, it’s long and hard, but I started from Renge Onsen. It took more than seven hours of walking almost nonstop. Since dinner starts at the same time, I was determined to make it in time. The dinner at Asahigoya is of a quality you wouldn’t expect from a mountain hut, and the menu features plenty of local ingredients from Toyama Prefecture. When I went, they also served ramen. They don’t serve breakfast, but the sushi and mixed sushi sold the day before are also delicious. The staff are warm and have a homely atmosphere. This mountain range is a Compared to the busier routes such as Mt. Yama and Mt. Yariho, there are fewer climbers, so you can enjoy a quiet and relaxed time at the mountain hut. Many of the people who come to Asahi Hut are relatively experienced climbers, and it was fun to talk about mountains with the people in my room. Reservations are only accepted by phone. The fourth mountain hut in the Northern Alps that I would like to stay at again is Hutte Oyari. Hütte Oyari is located in a great location with a close view of Mt. Yari. It can be accessed from the Yarisawa route or Higashikama Ridge. The course time from Hutte Oyari to the top of Yari-ga-no-kami is 1.5 hours The rooms have bunk beds and can be divided with roller curtains according to the number of people, so privacy is ensured It’s also nice that there are lights and outlets nearby Dinner is a Western-style meal, which is rare for a mountain hut, and is served with a glass of wine Very delicious The interior of the restaurant is stylish, and you’ll almost forget you’re on top of a mountain. The tsukemen noodles on the lunch menu are also popular, and you can enjoy them at an outdoor table while looking at Mt. Yari. You can make reservations through the Tsubame Sanso Group’s official website. The fifth mountain hut in the Northern Alps that I’d like to stay at again is Kitahotaka Hut. Kitahotaka Hut is a mountain hut located directly below the summit of Mt. Kitahotaka, on the ridge at an altitude of 3,100m. The most common route is from Kamikochi, but if you find it too tough to climb all the way to Kitaho, spending the night at Karasawa Hut or Karasawa Hut along the way will make it much easier on your body. From Kitahotaka Hut and the summit of Kitaho, you can see a panoramic view of Yari, the Okirito, and the Hotaka mountain range. It should be wide. I’ve climbed Kitaho three times in the past, but it was always foggy and rainy, so I haven’t been able to see the spectacular view yet.
