Hello! This is Ai from Midochare TV. It’s a Sunday morning. I’m making a simple Japanese breakfast. Since I just woke up, my hair is a mess, so I’m wearing a face wash headband to hide my bedhead. I should have done some makeup, but today is Sunday, the day I’m supposed to upload a video, and I haven’t finished editing yet, so I’m feeling a bit rushed. This is a quick and easy rolled egg dish, but I added too much dashi, and it ended up all mushy. It was too soft, so I couldn’t roll it properly. The dashi I put into the eggs is a simple dish made by adding miso soup stock, but adding plenty even if it loses its shape makes it incredibly delicious. This is also a quick and easy dish, but it’s healthy. You’re supposed to dissolve the miso after turning off the heat, but I’m in a rush, so I just did it casually like this. Okay. Breakfast is ready. Miso soup is meant to be enjoyed with vegetables. Again, since making dashi stock was a pain, I used miso soup broth instead to save time. The rice contains glutinous barley. Let’s eat. Here we go. Sorry. My hair was really messy and I was wearing no makeup, so I’m hiding my swollen face with my glasses. So, even though I’m busy today, I decided to make and eat a healthy breakfast. I accidentally dropped my fish. Sorry it’s so messy. The salmon was tough. The reason I decided to eat a healthy breakfast is because of this annual festival! I decided to make it a day to “drink while eating a McDonald’s Tsukimi Burger.” I’d decided to have a McDonald’s Tsukimi Burger party after I finished editing, so I decided to at least have a healthy breakfast. I was in a hurry, but I cooked it myself, and this is the menu I came up with. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. [A few hours later] I’m back from McDonald’s grocery shopping. Ta-da. Tsukimi time. A delicious, creamy Sukiyaki Tsukimi Burger. Cheese Tsukimi Burger. Regular Tsukimi Burger. Tsukimi Pie with Anko Butter and Mochi. Nuggets and nuggets. What about the fries ? They’re falling off. Okay! So, I’m going to drink while eating a McDonald’s Tsukimi Burger. [Applause] It’s a simple plan to just eat. I bought some sauce for the nuggets. [Included with nuggets] Limited-time offer? Setouchi Lemon Pepper Sauce and Mustard. Which do you prefer, mustard sauce or barbecue sauce? Today, I got to choose two, so I went with mustard and the limited-time lemon. Are you all ready for drinks? Are you ready for McDonald’s? I’ll open it. Another day of hard work. Ah. Delicious. And let’s eat. Let’s eat, everyone. What should we eat first? Hmm, what should I do? Well, I’ll start with this Tsukimi Pie. All right. I’ll open it. Let’s take a bite. Mmm♡ It’s been a while since I had pie. This one has red bean paste and mochi inside. Okay. Next up. Potatoes. Yes. Setouchi lemon pepper sauce. Nugget dip. It’s tangy and refreshing, making the nuggets refreshing. I bought 10 nuggets. I was told that this set was cheaper if I wanted both fries and nuggets, so I bought it. 10 nuggets and fries for 600 yen. Now, let’s start with the regular Tsukimi Burger. It’s a traditional Japanese Bon Odori song. [Lyrics: The moon is out, the moon is out.] Let’s eat. Yeah. Yeah. Consistently delicious. The best. Cheese Tsukimi Burger. Loaded with cheese. It looks like this inside: bacon, cheddar cheese, egg, and patty. Let’s eat. This is it! Yeah. The Cheese Tsukimi Burger looks great, doesn’t it? Is this how Kimura Takuya holds his burger? [This is the original way of holding a hamburger, created by the famous handsome Japanese actor, Kimura Takuya] I’ll eat it with the Kimura Takuya grip. Mustard♪ Delicious. I think a lot of people of my generation and those above and below have watched this, but huh? ??? The cord was coming out of a weird place. I pushed it in. I’m sure there are people who have tried eating a hamburger in front of a woman while holding it like Kimura Takuya. It was popular back then. [Music] If I were a guy, I might try it once on a date (lol) . Maybe I’d practice it at home first. What do you think, everyone? Holding it like Kimura Takuya. Kimura Takuya is so cool, isn’t he ? I’ve seen the real Kimura [Kimura Takuya]. I saw him at Shibuya Station. It was a long time ago, when both Kimura and I were teenagers. I was in junior high school, around the time SMAP debuted. SMAP was incredibly popular even before their debut. Kimura was around 18 or 17 at the time. The situation was that I was attending school in Shibuya, and it happened on my way home. At the time, the Toyoko Line ticket gates were located above ground level, and in front of them were the stairs to the Bedistria Deck, and I was fighting with a friend at the bottom. It was a cute, childish fight, like, “You two get along well, but I’m the one who gets along with you better.” So, while we were fighting, Kimura Takuya walked right in front of us. Whoa. Then, in the middle of our fight, my friend spotted him and said, “Oh! It’s Kimura!!” We were both like, “What? Seriously? It’s true!!” and got really excited. Even though we were fighting, we held hands and chased after him, saying, “Let’s go, let’s go. ” When he turned around and said, “Excuse me! Is that Kimura?”, his face was so beautiful. It was Kimura’s typical, “Oh, yes.” Yes. Yes. His eyes were so beautiful that we both froze. It seemed like if I’d said, “Please shake my hand,” he’d probably say, “Sure,” but I was too nervous and couldn’t speak. I was silent for about three seconds, so he was like, “Oh, sure,” and got on the bus. It brings back memories. That was all suddenly brought back to mind when I saw Kimura-san holding the burger today. Yeah. Thanks to Kimura-san, I was able to make up with my friend instantly. I don’t think you’re watching this video, but I wish he’d said, “Dear Kimura-san, thank you so much for everything.” I wish he’d shaken my hand… Next up, the fatty sukiyaki tsukimi burger. Let’s start with the visual. The fatty sukiyaki tsukimi burger. The bun is definitely different. It feels fluffy. Let’s try it. I’d like to continue with Kimura-san holding it. Hmm. Yeah. Oh, something’s different from the last one. First of all, the bacon has been changed to fatty bacon, and the sauce tastes a little different. The biggest difference between the regular Tsukimi Burger and the Sukiyaki Tsukimi Burger is the bun. It was fluffy and incredibly sweet. The bacon was also completely different. This one had more fat and was thicker. The patty was about the same size, but this one was infused with the flavor of sukiyaki. The cheddar cheese was the same as the Cheese Tsukimi Burger. The Sukiyaki Tsukimi tasted sweeter overall. So, I’m going to drink a Heineken, which is unusual for me today. Yes. So, I’ll have a Heineken today to cheer me up. Yes, it’s been a while since I last had a Heineken, and it was delicious. Heineken is a Dutch beer, right? Hamburgers have an overseas image, so I decided to try something a little different today. Since it was McDonald’s, I thought Budweiser would be good, but I couldn’t find any, so I went with a Heineken. It was delicious, too. And then I finished off the Cheese Tsukimi. Thank you for the meal. Yes. Three hamburgers is a bit much, so I decided to save a few regular Tsukimi Burgers to eat the next morning. Don’t try this at home, kids. Buy as much as you can. It was delicious. I’m still going to drink a few more drinks while eating the nuggets. Squish. Well, that’s it for tonight ♡ So , a highball to celebrate today ♪ Haaa ♡ Refreshing ♪ Delicious. Time to relax. I’m super full. Of course, my blood sugar went up after eating two and a half hamburgers. As an egg lover, I absolutely eat this annual McDonald’s Tsukimi Burger during the festival season. I think there are a lot of people like me, but of McDonald’s seasonal burgers, I love the Tsukimi Burger and the Gracoro. I eat the Gracoro every year, too. I also really like cream-flavored burgers. Wow, it was delicious. It’s been a while since I’ve had a McDonald’s Tsukimi Burger. Yeah. I haven’t tried any other burger joints’ Tsukimi Burgers yet, so maybe I’ll give them a try. Maybe MOS or something. I think Mos Burger opens on September 8th, and then there’s KFC. Rather than a Tsukimi Burger, I’d probably like something like a regular drumstick or chicken. Maybe I’ll have a KFC drink. Yeah. The nuggets are delicious. The bear’s in a really weird pose. Like, “Hey Girl.” Lately, the bear’s been moving around like it’s alive, making all sorts of movements. I think I’m just moving unconsciously, though. Okay. I ate five nuggets, but I couldn’t possibly eat 10, so I’ll try them again tomorrow. Okay. And that wraps it up. My favorite of the 2025 McDonald’s Tsukimi Burgers was the Cheese Tsukimi Burger. I prefer the simpler buns, and the cheddar cheese was delicious. I love cheese, so adding cheese really enhances the flavor. I hope this helps anyone who’s thinking about which Tsukimi Burger to get. The thick and creamy flavor is delicious, but for me, it’s quite strong and sweet. Drinking it at McDonald’s is also good. I’m also thinking about trying the Mos Burger Tsukimi again. As for my future plans, tomorrow I’m going to a hotel in Tokyo again. I’ve been staying in Tokyo for a while, but I don’t want to go far away… due to various budget and time constraints. My main purpose for traveling is to stay in hotels, so there are still plenty of hotels in Tokyo I’d like to stay at, so I’m focusing on those right now.
