She thought it would happen quicker than this, but it seems Mary to be right on time with the performance and the display she put on tonight. Laura Robson, how far back is this woman? Oh, just the the nerves, the tension, everything that she must have been feeling in those last few points to play the with the patience that it took to take out Carolina tonight in what was a really tough match, tough battle, tough situation given that it looked like her opponent was injured and wasn’t moving well. But then you got to think about your own side of the net. There was a lot going on, but that was clutch in many ways to close out that breaker. So yeah, just fantastic to see her back at a semi-final stage of a grand slam.

The 2025 US Open runs from August 18 – September 7 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.     Go Osaka! And Muchova, what a warm hearted opponent. Such a beautiful gesture and words of encouragement from her to Osaka. Never see these from the likes of Swiatek or Sabalenka ever. Sometimes, greatness comes with humility and warmth. People forget.

    Naomi Osaka won while her mentality was still like a kid’s, which is why she struggled afterward. But she grew mentally and came back stronger.

    The only complaint I have is that is so disrespectful for the public not to have respect for the players when the match is on they are distributing them by getting up in the middle of the match,they should do something about it it makes NY look so so bad, if you know what I mean.
