【ピアノ演奏】猫 – DISH// (北村匠海) – THE PIANO SOLO｜SLSMusic

Hi, welcome to SLSTalk. Today, I’ve picked one of my favorite songs. It’s “Neko” by DISH//. You might not have heard it, but if you haven’t, you’re missing out! Because this song holds the record for the most views on THE FIRST TAKE. It’s the most-watched on the whole channel, with 220 million views. As for what this song is about— I won’t spoil it, so please listen and read the lyrics to feel it yourself. So, why did I choose this song for the video? Well, Honestly, It’s simply because it’s a great song. Well, actually, it’s because I love cats (just kidding). Anyway, it doesn’t really matter. This song was released in 2017, but became even more popular with the 2020 TFT version. DISH//’s popularity skyrocketed because of it. Most people originally knew Takumi Kitamura from his dramas and movies. Many discovered his singing talent thanks to this opportunity. After going viral on THE FIRST TAKE, it was even adapted into a drama called “Neko.” I’ve included links to DISH//’s channel in the video description, as well as the TFT and LIVE versions of “Neko.” Feel free to check them out! Since this song is pretty special, I took extra care to calmly think through the arrangement while playing. I hid two tiny Easter eggs in the bridge section, and added my own interpretation in the final chorus. It’s been a while since I put this much thought into a performance.
