Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. My name is Kim for anyone new. In today’s video, I have an unboxing for you guys and it’s a pretty exciting one, at least for me, because this is going to be the very last Tekkashi Murakami piece that I am adding to my collection. And I feel like I have purse piece after getting this. So, let’s get right into it. I ordered this with my sales associate and she had it delivered to me. This is also my first item with the new box. So, just pops open like that. And I do have the receipt in here. And here it is. Oh my goodness. Okay, I don’t even know what to say. This piece I have been just lusting over since the first time that I saw it. Um, I did try to get it the first time that Louis Vuitton launched it and it was just sold out everywhere. And then I kind of lost hope because about 3 months ago back in March when they came out with the Cherry Blossom collection, I was able to order this. It was I was able to order it through a pre-sale with my sales associate. But the problem that I have with Louis Vuitton and their pre-sales is they take your full amount for the bag including tax and they weren’t able to tell me when the bag was going to come in. So my sales associate was like it could be next month, it could be 3 months from now, it could be 6 months from now. So, after waiting about a month and a half, I ended up um canceling that order because I just didn’t really like that they were holding on to the money without giving me an exact shipment date. So, again, I felt like, okay, I’m just not going to get this bag. It’s not meant to be. It’s okay. But it’s not to say that I did not think about this bag a lot. About a week ago, my sales associate let me know that this bag was available. There was only one and it was ready to ship at the Rodeo Drive location and I told her, “Get me that bag.” I just felt like it was just meant to be. It was ready. Um, I did not ask any questions. I just gave her my credit card information and she shipped it through I think it was FedEx. It was or UPS. It was two day shipping with signature. So, if you’re ever worried about buying from Louis Vuitton, don’t because the box is super duper discreet and they make sure that you have um a signature upon delivery, which I just felt like that gave me peace of mind, guys. I mean, I just love this bag so much. It’s like my teenage dream, really. So, let’s take a look. This is the white Speedy 25 Bandelier version. So, it does have straps. And what makes it different from the regular Speedy is it does have these metal corners, which I love this detailing. And there’s this little ribbon on the front. I probably will take this off. I don’t see myself using it. I I don’t know why. I just want it to be just pretty plain. So, I might take this off. And with Speedy Bags, it is one piece of canvas that goes from the front to the back. So, on the back, the print is upside down. I just love the colors. Oh my gosh, this is such a fun piece. And I feel like I’ll be able to wear whatever with this, so I’m not too worried. The zipper at the front at the top is super duper straight. And it does have the double zip with this little piece right here. So you can um lock it together and have a little bit more security. And inside should be should have the lock. This is what the interior looks like. It is this beige microfiber cottony feel uh material and there is a little slip pocket right here. I feel like that’s actually big enough for a phone or your um card case or wallet. It’s little thing in here. Then there’s a Louis Vuitton pouch. This is where they usually leave the um lock and key. So, it does have a lock. I mean, I don’t know. I might change my mind about this. This is actually really cute. And it does have the lock there. And then I believe I would have to play around with it a little bit, but I think on the interior of this piece, you’re supposed to be able to keep the key in there. But I would have to play around with that a little bit. But this is what it looks like. It is so dang cute. Uh, I feel like this is kind of growing on me a little bit just because it gives it that little girly touch. Like bows are also just so in right now. Inside they do supply a strap. This is going to be different than the Speedy 25 Bandelier straps because it is just one piece. It is not adjustable at all. And the regular strap is actually I want to say three pieces and it is adjustable. I’m just going to take these off. I wish there was something that I can put on these corners so that I can protect the metal. But um I know some people like to keep these plastic wraps on there for as long as possible. But if you look on here, you can kind of see it’s already lifting in the corners. So I just don’t think that that looks cute. This is so satisfying to take this off. And the corners are mint tea. Beautiful. I was deciding between this bag and the Speedy 30 soft. I do love the black with the multicolor. I actually wish that they came out with this in black. I would have probably honestly I wouldn’t be picky. Like whatever is available, black or white, I will take it. put it in the bag. But, um, I decided to choose this over the soft 30 because the soft 30 is leather lined on the interior and I can just imagine how much heavier that bag was going to be. And with Speedy bags, I feel like they’re pretty lightweight in general, but when you start filling things in here, it can be pretty heavy. So, I can’t even imagine the extra weight for the soft 30. Another reason why I decided to get the Speedy 25 versus the soft 30 is the price. For this, it was $3,200 before tax and the soft 30 was $4,300. It was like an extra $1,000. And I get it. It is lined with leather, so that’s part of the cost, the added cost. Plus, it’s a little bit bigger. So, totally understandable. But because of all those reasons, I just felt like this was going to be a better option for me. So, I want to show some mod shots with the bag. I feel like some people don’t love wearing the Speedy on the crook of their arm. I personally love that. I feel like it’s very comfortable and I don’t have any issues with that. But the strap makes it nice because you can carry it on your shoulder. I think for my height, this isn’t too bad to wear it as a cross body. I generally don’t wear my Speedy 25s crossbody anyway. I like to carry it on my shoulder like this, but this is still a little bit too long for my preference. It hits me at the hip. I feel like some people wouldn’t mind that. I personally just like it a little bit shorter. So, here I have my bandelier um strap from the original Speedy. So, I don’t see myself using this one. I think it’s a little bit too long for my liking. So, I would probably use this one. Yeah, I like this like length of the strap much better. Obviously, you can’t wear this strap cross body because it’s too short, but again, I don’t wear my Speedies cross body anyway. Oh, guys, this is so dang cute. After this video, I will probably be spraying this whole bag with Apple Guard. I just want to make sure to protect this bag from color transfer and I do want to make the viceta on here water resistant as much as possible um just so that I can protect the bag.
