I understand you’re in Los Angeles, so I know it’s super early for you guys. Uh before I talk about Hands in My Pocket, I want to talk about K-pop. This is a really interesting format of a show getting western big stars to kind of reimagine their songs with K-pop or Japanese pop artists. So, what’s it been like working with Eve and Kesha? I know the band, your band had to split up into two groups competing once again. Yeah. So, it was amazing. So, and it felt like standing alongside true Americans music icon icon icons and seeing how so powerful their performances were made me realize uh how much more we can grow but also inspired me to push harder and aim to stand to the same global stage. It was amazing. Yeah, I’m sure it was such a cool experience. You guys are in the fourth episode of that show when you guys are featured. Uh, so recently you guys have been promoting your new single, Hands in My Pocket, and I know you say that the pocket is not just a pocket. It symbolizes confidence. It symbolizes your secret weapon and also highlights each of your in individuality and uniqueness. So, uh, I know show you said you had guitar picks and receipts, but KGO, you have bananas and a heart. So, Kiego, why do you love why do you love bananas so much? Because I know you also have a song about bananas. Uh, why why so very delicious and so so healthy? Yeah. Uh, the shape is shapes. Yeah. Perfect. Yeah. And he he like go to the gym and then so the muscle Yeah. And then the perfect the meal in the war. Yeah. The banana. Yeah. Hey, bananas are really good for potassium and if you’re running, it gives you that extra nutrition. Uh listen, you guys started your band five years ago uh as a result of going on Produce 101 Japan. There’s 11 of you now. You’ve got so much fans all across the world, not just in Japan, but in America and here in Canada, too. We have so many Canadian fans tweeting at our show this morning about how excited they’re to see you on CP24 breakfast. So, I know you’ve taken the stage in America, met your US fans uh show. Are you guys planning to perform in Toronto in Canada anytime soon? I hope. Yeah, we hope so. We definitely come to the Toronto. Okay. So there soon. Very soon. Okay. And let’s talk about your album Be Classic. I mean, you’re only five years young, but you’re already putting out a greatest album, and this is based on asking your fans what songs they liked, right? Funny. This is the so fantastic. So this album is the best album. So be classic is means you know the classic is like a icon iconic thing. So we want to be like an iconic for you. Thank really Absolutely. Yeah. We hope to be like a iconic like That’s very cool. One hit a vintage here yesterday. They look very much like they could Yeah, absolutely. I mean it’s amazing what you’ve done already with chart topping hips hits in Japan and also in the US. So I can’t wait to see where it goes. Uh, I have to ask you guys, I know that you say your band is really um the key to your success is you guys kind of look at each other’s weaknesses and you step in to support each other in that way. Uh, show I know that when you started you weren’t a really great dancer, but how are your dancing skills now? Yeah, at that time so it it was so hard you know this I didn’t know everything you know this is like a move is the coro is everything is was the first time but so ko so can play dance but you know me is the zero oh thank you so we grow up yeah yeah I’m sure it’s like one big family the 11 of you J1 show and Kiego, thank you so much for joining us live on CP24 breakfast.
