Ugh once again we are talkin about someone with a minor to mild injury late in the season. Its getting frustrating to see. I truly think 2026 will see the changes to the events players pick, and if this continues we might see a players strike or something of that nature

Those tears at the end is why I watch WTA. You know she wanted that win so bad and it was a lot closer than appears. A few mistakes and Lamens would have won.
Ahh I hope the injury is not too serious. Naomi had signed up for Tokyo and HongKong open as well which could have brought her very close to the top 10. But it doesn't look like she will be able to play such close tournaments with that injury.

I know it might not be fair, but I often feel like there's a heaviness around Osaka—something deeper than just being unhappy. It sometimes seems like being out there is a burden for her, even though she earns millions and has opportunities most people could only dream of. There’s a disconnect between her privilege and how she carries it.
