8 BRUTAL Naoya Inoue FULL FIGHTS

in the second round after he won a split decision against Jason Maloney seven months before and he was not the only common opponent that they had first bell here in a way know that he’s there and in way just needs to be who he is be explosive be fast be quick don’t try to overpower Maloney well you see that that uppercut right there just beat yourself nice counter right from after Maloney lands a shot of his own few mistakes that he does make leaving himself exposed doesn’t get off the line. But Maloney said, “I’ve got to be quick enough. I got to be smart enough. And I got to be strong enough to make him pay as he takes another inway jab.” If he gets a little wide with his punches. Nice counter right there. Switch your mind back and remind yourself why you’re here. It’s also true that it’s been 359 days since Inu was last in the ring against Nonito Donaire. And he explodes with every single punch. So, it’s dangerous. You second guess it. Oh man. body shot. Maloney was trying to get out of the way and throw a right hand all at the same time. That’s a lot to process in just one millisecond. There’s that left hook from Naway here to close out the second round. Oh, nice effort. For 12 rounds tonight, they really do want to hurt each other. And Maloney here keeping up with anyway in terms of punches thrown but nice uppercut there with the right hand from Inway but Mononi takes it well. There it is once again the attack. Right hand, left hand. My essentials packet. The right uppercut for Inaway. That first step of Inway is a lot for Maloney to process. Right now he’s thinking, trying to figure out what his next move is on Inu. That’s where all the power is generated from the ground up from the legs up. Had that power going from the bottom up. Oh, beautiful double uppercut from Naoya Inu. Nice right there from Jason Maloney on the inside using his strength and he gets clipped by a left hook is making Maloney forget his game plan. He forgot what he came here to do. Oh, left uppercut from now in switches up and now you see the legs of Maloney a little wobbly as he continues with the attack person. How explosive every shot is how the speed on his punches and the power to go along with it and the pressure he’s putting on Maloney right now. Maloney is a good fighter. He’s a good quality fighter and he’s making him look ordinary. Oh, nice counter to the body from now. And down goes that right elbow of Maloney. Nice stick jab from Maloney though. [Applause] That’s a hard thing to do when you got a guy who’s sticking you with power. He’s been it. See, he’s being out muscle. I mean, that power and that speed mid-range, inside, it doesn’t matter. He’s controlling this fight. He’s leading. He’s countering. He’s out speeding, out clicking, and and he has more power than Maloney. How you gonna deal with that if you don’t open up and try to get some respect? You know, he gets a little enamored with his punching power. He just wants to admire’s work at times, and Maloney is finding home for his right hand occasionally. There you see the finishing shots from Aya Inway as round four comes to a conclusion. Well, it’s special. You know, there’s no perfect fighter. There’s always going to be mistakes the fighter makes, but the question is, can the opponent do anything about it or if they’re going to have the courage to try to risk at the start of his prime right now at 27 years old? That quickness of Naway who’s 19 and0 with 16 knockouts. But here comes Jason Maloney who said if I can get him backing up inside the trenches, but he needs to be careful because any inway would set him up with a counter. He’ll look to punch in between his shots. Anyway, he’s got the power advantage, the quickness advantage, and a 2 and 12 in reach advantage, which we saw just moments ago as his jab got to his destination. Yeah, devastation. Thank you. Thank you. But sometimes, oh, big right hand there from Inway and Maloney takes it and he takes two steps back. If I could, if you could hear the thoughts that Oh, shot right. Down goes Maloney on a quick counter. Four, five, six. In a way, a good finisher, too. Hey. Okay. Okay. Come to me. Position to throw this left hook. Maloney came in with a double jab. You know, we’re taught to, you know, step in behind with the double jab. And if you don’t do it from the right distance, well, you get set up with shots like this. Beautiful left hook right in between. Nice step back. A half a step back by Inoway. Nice check hook right there from him. It’s a lot to deal with, fellas. Power, speed, quickness, timing, and he smells blood. He may be the monster, but tonight he’s a shark going after his prey in Jason Maloney from down under. Big right hand once again. Supreme focus from Naway as Maloney gets caught with another left hook as he leads his jab out there. Cleanly yet, except for that big shot early in the round, but he lands cleanly there with that right. In a way, it’s defeat. When a fighter can close the distance on you in a half a second, and he’s all he’s up on you quicker than you could even imagine, that’s unnerving for a fighter. It’s tough to deal with. There’s that stick from Naoya Inuway. As round seven, a big right hand from Nya Ino. Maloney is down and hurt. 5 6 7 8 It’s over. It is over. Na the monster inway on Halloween night knocks out Jason Mayhem Maloney. Right hand. It was in a way started this fight the way that he ended it. He just got on fire. He he he revved up his engine and he was all gas and no brakes. He did everything. He showed speed. He showed power. He showed some flavor with his feet and, you know, he ended with a devastating right hand like that. Maloney just made a mistake, threw a threw a jab out there and and in a way just took a took a half little step back and just made him pay with a brutal shot. You saw that coming. We were talking about this over the last couple rounds. It doesn’t look like much is happening, but there’s a lot happening. And you see in a way a guy with an IQ setting up a shot like that to have an emphatic victory here in the United States. There’s a lot of people that are going to start to know this young man’s name and and if he continues to put on performances like this, he will be a household name. And still WBA, IBF Ring Magazine unified bantamweight champion of the world. Now, oh yeah, the monster in anything below this line is a foul. We went over the rules in the dressing room. I want to remind you, protect yourself at all times. Obey my commands. God bless you both. Touch up. The opening belt. It unleashes the monster. His 21st pro fight. Starting out Death Marine as a southpaw. All starting with the foot position, the lead foot. If you get your foot outside the lead foot of the southpaw, you can line up your power shot, which is the right hand. It’s like almost an auto correct with his balance. There’s that left hook again. You see how quickly he can viper strike it at a moment’s notice. Dez Marine Chun is choosing right now to get on his bike moving trying not to stand directly in front of anyway. He’s saying, “I know you got punching power, but you got to you got to catch me.” The hope for Dez Marine is to get this fight going a little bit where he can warm up. Maybe he can land some shots and start to get his range. Design has given up a lot of energy just from the presence of Inway. Just the the fact that Inway is in range to land is is unnerving Dez Marino and he’s looking trying to lure Inway into that shot trying to get him comfortable moving chasing him make a mistake and then boom lands the left hook as Desenis came in and crossed that threshold. the undefeated champion, the three division world champion who’s really a fighter fighter. It’s interesting to see who came out to see him tonight among the celebs and the boxing stars ringside. [Applause] Good straight left from Dez Marinez. Yeah, but Dez Marine is going to have to be in that range and still get his if he’s got any shot of landing anything significant in way in a way had a spectacular I mean utterly spectacular knockout in his last fight. Good defense from Dez Marine along the ropes. Nice shot left hand. So you can already tell from the body language of Des Minez. He’s moving a lot. He doesn’t want to get touched by those big shots, but offensively he’s starting to settle down and land some shots. There it is. I think a shot like that will win. Left hook to the body. Knocked down. Scored by the monster. Left hook to the liver. Common shot in the sport of boxing, but it didn’t land with common power. Here we see inway throw a waist right uppercut and just sort of raise the mid to side of Dez Marine. And it was a delayed reaction, but he thought about it. He said, “I I just can’t stand up.” It t that kind of shot takes the wind out of you. Jab, waist uppercut, and just a grazing shot right there that just paralyzed Dez Marine. And Inaway went back there. 50 seconds to work here in round two for Inaway stalking his prey. Oh, big left hand dug in underneath. Inaway stalking. Goes to the body. Left uppercut comes in as well. That’s what you do when you hurt a person to the body. Right back down there. Pinpoint accuracy with the left hand to the body. One of the most devastating punches you can land in this sport. Desar is still hurt. There’s no doubt about it. He follows. Another body shot comes in. Look at Inway. This is what he delivers time and again. Des game to fight back. Inway goes to that spot again. Just bruising that liver shot. Round number three. 20 fights for Inaway have only lasted a total of 114 rounds. The velocity, I know it looked like it was grazing, but the speed Oh, he digs it again. This right here is when it when it starts to become unfair for opponents of Inway when yes, he’s offensively powerful, but then defensively he’s stingy and he doesn’t let you get anything with his cat quickness. Inway’s looking to go back to that body. He’s just going away from it for a little bit. Make Dez Marine forget about it. Then he’s going back down there with that left hook. There it is. Sold the right hand. Came back with the left to the body. Now Des Mores trying to get right into that kitchen. Fires off a combination. That’s the high guard enticing right there. He’s trying to entice and allow Dez Marine to punch so that way he opens himself up. Tried to get it right there, but it grazed the body of Desine. Three-punch combination. Goes back to it again. Oh, big time shot to the body by Inaway. It’s over. Six, seven, eight, n survives the count. But can he survive the next half minute? Marinas that side is going to feel like here’s how he finished it. Well, this was the first knockdown. See splitting a guard with the uppercut, then coming around the elbow to the liver with the left hand. Miss with that. But what he really wanted was that right there. Bring the elbows inside with the uppercut. Then come around those elbows. Destructive work from the monster. Uppercut. Body shot again. My oh my. Three body shot knockdowns and a knockout victory for the great Na inaway right to the side of Dez Marinas. Des Marinus was already still reeling from the first body shot and the others that followed up and that just added insult. And still the WBA IBF bantamweight champion of the world, the monster, Nao. [Applause] Poetry of violence. Round 13. Bernardo Zuna alongside Hall of Famer Andre Ward. And it’s Donaire coming out fast with the left hook. Big difference here, the gloves that are being worn by both fighters. They’re punchers gloves. The first fight they featured winning gloves. This time the first attempt by Donaire to land that right hand which hurt away on several occasions in the first fight and sometimes gets overlooked because of his beautiful left hook. You see the jab inway with the counter right and now a left hook from Inway. The fighters are still warming up there. [Applause] Second time in this series and keep on coming, but he can’t take too many more of those. Now it’s Donaire landing that vaunted left hook. See that right hand now in you poison. Now it’s a left hook that rivals no donire. It’s devastating power and the legs of Donire are not all there and taking advantage of the moment as Donaire tries to go downstairs. You see another vicious left hook from the monster. Naway body shot from the monster. Looks like Daire’s made up his mind. He’s going to fight fire. Drops Donaire. is able to somehow manage to find his balance. But in way it might have been better to just go down because and now does put down air round two and this fight is over. Another impressive knockout victory for the monster and IBF unified bantweight champion of the world monster. Joe Tesstor and Tim Bradley on the call to determine the first undisputed bantamweight champion in boxing’s four belt era. And for anyway, it’s all about pressure and cutting off the ring. And I expect him to go down to the body of Butler. Among all active fighters, that is double the banting weight average. First two punch combination of significance from Inway. He’s doing right by staying defensively sound and not opening up right away. Three-punch combination from Inaway. Now Butler takes a step forward for a moment. Inway comes back with a right hand behind the jab. [Music] There’s a right hand to the body from Inway. He’s still comfortable right now. Still protecting himself. He fears that power of Inway double jab that time. A five punch combination. He went double jab, right hand, left hand to the body. He has landed three lefts to the body. Vicious body work. Like I tell you guys in the past, you see Inway throwing where Butler is moving to to cut him off to pin him on the ropes, landing his own body shot on Inway and Butler comes back with a right hand up top before going with the high guard again. In a way, taking those small steps just to corral Butler always keeping him in range. There’s a right hand and a left hand to the body that backed it up. Always setting the table, creating the opportunity for offense. Now you see the head movement. something he has taken great pride in. Remember he took that mini camp trip to the wildard gym and not enough offense Timmy to keep him away off of hands and two left body for those type of situations. Opens up this third round with a combination as in that corner and desperately needs to get out. He has that left hand up. Just a vicious assault right here in a way cornering Butler. Butler protecting himself really well. A lot of those things was caught on the glove. But as you see, no return fire from Butler. He is timid. Two punch combination again. Working behind that jab, the uppercut, right uppercut, left hook behind. Now explain to people when you say that. You call it a teeter totter. And Butler finally lets his hands go as in a way covers up for a moment. Best work that Butler’s had comes here in round number three. But what you describe is that teeter totter, the ability to throw punches and generate the torque bringing back the off hand to create more power. No, the teeter totter combination is is the right uppercut. So it goes up. So the that side is up and then he comes down. The opposite side is down and it’s around the elbow to the liver. Will neglect defense. Butler will come on with this combination. The hook is the best punch I believe that Butler has landed. needs to make an adjustment. He needs to fight. Sell out now. As is the case with Gallagher speaking to his charge. Paul Butler 34 win champion closing the gap into that corner again. Left hook comes in. Inaway comes around the right hand. Just more domination from Inaway. target practice at this moment. This is punch punching bag work right here. You know, Butler, I understand. Right through the glove. That’s the first contact. Test you from a power puncher like Inway. When you’re getting hit with those type of punches, Inaway is standing just outside that mid-range. He’s he’s hoping closes range with the jab. Gets to the inside. Left hand came to the body. finish with a left hook upstairs. Right hand comes behind the jab. Left uppercut, right uppercut. There’s that left hand to the body. It’s been so effective tonight. World champion. And with that and Timmy, we noted we’re so used to in recent years seeing Inaway with the bright. He does for a moment and Inaway would invite that. Taking more chances trying to get him to open up till he can land that kill shot and engage. [Music] [Applause] It’s too easy, Tess. Far too easy. Too easy. Good combination right there from Butler. Ali shuffled. Beautiful left hook down to the body. That’s what I’m talking about. That’s what I need to see more from Butler right there. Right hand from Inaway. Stop Butler’s lateral movement for a moment. Nice. A combination from Butler. Can hear the encouragement from the corner of Paul Butler as he’s sent back with another right hand that hits that high guard. Hey, the way I hear you talk and what I see out of Butler, you get the sense that to him, the victory was getting the contract signed. That’s it. That’s it. You You got to understand that. Nice. Good. Good call. But Gallagher himself has to understand you’re headed to a shutout loss no matter. Yes. In away with a body shot as Bumpler was up against the ropes that time willing to throw and Ina away filled that gap with a right hand. Nice and tight. Right hand from Inway. He can open up a big shot. Touch touch. get him defensive and then boom, a big shot downstairs. Now in away with a combination to open up this 11th round. Changing up the cadence, baby. Speed coming down the middle, but now he needs to bring it downstairs after he get those hands high and raised. Right hand to the body is a good one. And a big right hand that comes in. Three work for big combination scores the knockdown here around 11. That power away comes through and he gets it done at 11. dismisses an unengaged Paul Butler by hitting the accelerator and putting on a showway made him a punching bag for the entire night until he stopped him. And now, boxing’s first undisputed bantamweight champion of the world, Na the Monster In. This was very important for Inaway to do this. Now to give instruction, Hector Au guys, I disruption in the dressing room. Those who doubt that they don’t believe in me. Well, let’s make them believers. He said the task is in front of him to defend his titles. Now wave that long range jab to the body from Inway tries to come with the right hand around the guard and the up jab. [Music] So interesting to see that low lee hand from Inway starting off like that. [Music] Good jab. Very solid jab from Inway. You know, we talked all all night about Fton’s jab, but what about Inway’s jab? Versatile offensive attack as always from Inway. now goes upstairs with it and follows Fton back to the ropes before the tie up and the separation from Hector. You know, Fton thought he was clear, thought he’s going to get on his bike and inway chased him down, cut him off. In a way getting rough on the inside, gets the warning from a crew of wrapping around the net and now falls in off balance on his own with that three right hands able to punch away [Applause] under underneath the guards of Fton. Right back to it. There it is again. And there’s the first right hand that is able to land. And he comes with it again. And then a four-punch combination that included a left to the body from Inway. Double jab comes upstairs with the right hand. Fton puts up the guard and backs out. But you can tell the effect of those punches. You see Fton, even though he’s a bigger guy, when he gets hit, he gets somewhat knocked off balance from them heavy blows coming from. Anyway, you can see how calm and in control he is early on here as he comes with another four punch combination. Tried to go to the body with that right hand in the midst of that. There’s that jab and there are the levels. Went upstairs and then to the body again, Timmy. And it’s the speed at which in a way closes the gap Fton’s having a hard time with right now. Fton on his bike just trying to avoid shots right now. Double jab, right hand. No, but I like his composure. He’s weathering the storm right now. Bowman using defense movement to get out of range. Test a lot of rounds left, but I’m just telling you right now anyways making this fight look easy right now against Fton. Let’s see if Fton can turn it around. He wants to show that he’s tough. You got to show you’re tough while still being intelligent. You see the shifting game plan. Go to the top. Nice level changing jab right there in exchange a jab for a right hand. See if he can work behind that jab. [Applause] goes to the body again with the jab. That has been a point of emphasis early on. And then the right hand up top partially blocked. One, two from Fulton. [Applause] There’s that up vertical jab again. But he’s not pulling the trigger. Well, it’s that middle ground that was the concern. And if you’re going to stay there, you got to throw [Applause] that up. Javis had such success for Inway. Now an opportunity as Fton was able to get to the inside and back to range. I think he’s afraid for what’s going to come back. The speed is too blazing fast. Tough to replicate with a sparring partner what Inaway and his unique physical gifts offer when you’re opposite him. cut to close out round number three. How it has defined him in so many ways. You see the total body punches in a way with an 11-2 advantage. He has been increasing his work rate as the fight has moved around in the early stages as he comes with two right hands in the inside. Banging on the body of Inway getting a little physical on the inside. Fton has a lot of confidence. Came straight back [Applause] to the body with that jab that has been available since the opening bell. Double jab by Fton. [Music] [Applause] Not sure about that all the way out, all the way in stuff. not doing anything in in a way beating him to the punch. He’s there way. He’s there, but he won’t pull the trigger. Test in way has that kind of power where he can punch through the defense as well. You’ve seen that a few times. Show him the levels with that jab again. Consistently going to the body with that jab is in way. He’s getting out box and he’s supposed to be the superior box. Well, we get so enamored with the power of inway and the results. He is a supremely intelligent boxer as well. Good combination from Inaway. More blood coming from the nose of Scooter Folton. It’s not working for him at that distance. Folks going to have to make some changes. Going to have to make some adjustments to be more offensive minded against the monster. As he does for a moment does Fton then backs out with his hands up. What’s the change that needs to take place for Fton? Kind of change his rhythm. He’s standing directly in front. Use your legs. He can draw in a way. I mean, he tried to come forward, but he’s not letting his hands go. He’s afraid for what’s going to come back. So now, use your legs. Get on your bike. Lure in in a way because now you’re in range just to get hit with those power shots. Now, here comes the combination punch in a way behind that jab as we see early on and round five and change his rhythm up. I mean, when you have a fighter like Inaway just landing shots like that, you have to change your rhythm up. You have to. Oh, good combination from Fton. And that was off the subtle movement to his right. That’s what he has to do. [Music] Another right hand from Inway. Backs up Fton. Heavy. Heavy. He’s extremely good right hand. Good right hand from Fton right there. Catching it in way. Right hand from those shots are being deflected. [Music] It’s a better round for Fton. I don’t know if it’s going to he’s going to win this round, but I know this is a better round. Round six. Unified champion. Steven Fulton in an early hold against the monster. Na Inaway who vacated his four belts is undisputed but so fast and striking and consistent and productive with the jab in his offensive arsenal. Bolton is not using any of his footwork. He’s not move using any of his lateral movement at all. And you want to know why? Because in a way has stopped that. In a way is quick to cut him off and says uh-uh I want you directly in front of me. I don’t want you moving anywhere. That time he comes in with the left hook. That speed to close whether it’s straight ahead or lateral just another part of what makes him so dangerous as Fton comes forward that time falls short of landing and then wraps up too much. Amazing in a soldout arena in Tokyo. The crowd so respectful, polite, restrained, subdued that you can actually hear in the midst of the fight the instructions. So unbelievable how in a way no matter what position he’s in, he’s able to generate the punching power and torque on his shots. Torque is a perfect description of what makes his punching power special. He just ran with a combination. He did. It’s that jab. That jab. It’s been the key. It has been the key. [Music] That right hand hurt F trying to establish his own offense, but getting himself out of position. Court left hand chopped down here at the end of round number six. Fton trying to exchange on the inside and in a way getting the better of it again. Tess this is the baddest man at 122 lbs. In a way he keeps his head on that side. I’m seeing him keep his head on that right side right in the right in the line of fire for that right hand of folks. Short check hook that time. Check hook that time as Fton crossed the threshold. A jab for Inway. There’s the inside coming wrapping around the guard with that right hand and Inway comes right back at him. Returns fire immediately. [Applause] Good right hand over the top. Counter right hand from Bulma. Back to the body from Inaway. Folks said that was low. Inaway said, “Ah, get out of here.” And see how comfortable Inaway is right now as he’s trying to cut off the ring and close the gap. Overhand right. That’s the one thing about Inway. He He never stops hunting for that knock effort. He’s always looking for it. four punch combination back to the jab up top. Gee, these are great moments right here that Colton is allowing Inway to recharge. See, he just threw an onslaught of punches and he’s allowing work his offense immediately after Inway gets done. Right hand, the left hook. the jab. And that jab, [Applause] [Music] that stab, jab down to the body. And the reason why in a way can get there quick with that jab is Fton has a wide stance. His base is so wide. It’s really hard to get in and out. Oh, right hand. Oh, a huge right hand from the monster. And then he chases him down. Fton is laying out. struggling to get to his feet. Fton hurt badly. The monster on the attack trying to claim two more belts as Fton tried to grab the ropes back up into the corner. Here comes Inaway that destructive decisive power does it again. The monster, a four division world champion, stamping in Tokyo. Naoya the monster. [Applause] I gave you guys your instruction in the dress room. I expect a clean, fair fight start to finish. Anything right here is low. Same thing right here. Anything between these lines right here is low. Good luck. And standing across the ring, he has that tonight in the hungry underdog of Marlon Topales, who’s also a two belt champion. Herring. This is the undisputed super bantamweight championship. Naoya Inaway in the white, red, and blue trunks. [Music] There’s a left hand for Tapalos that gets him. in a way’s father Naoyo’s father and trainer. There’s the left hand that stepping over but you don’t what you don’t want to do is stand in front of him because like again we seen him explode out with a one two and you know end fights the one two there that was partially blocked by Zales but that’s what Tales doesn’t want to have happen. There’s a left hand. Is that That’s going to be called a slip. And you see in a way with that back foot taking a step back almost trying to get that looping to disrupt punches coming towards the head. See how he fell in? [Applause] [Applause] Jab. Jab to Polish. Oh yeah. But that right there is still like no cuz you you’re just just a sitting target. And here comes in away. He’s not he’s not looking for one shot. He’s letting his hands go, you know. Nice shot. Nice shot to the body. He’s crazy. He’s trying to find he’s trying to create openness if he can’t the speed of any way. Nice shot. Nice to the body. brings a punch back and then he lands one at another angle so quickly. And Jamal, to your point, it looks like in a way is is baiting Talis a little bit here. Boom. [Applause] Nice. Nice body shot from Depales. See, you know, Depal has to watch out like keeping that high guard cuz he’s dead. Oh, nice uppercut under the elbows to the body. So, you got to you got to start watching out for that as well. Nice body shot with the but in a way that high guard is like blinders in a way you can’t see what’s coming around it and even anyway you know what I’m saying he put his hands up what happened he didn’t see he didn’t see that shot that just broke through the guard that’s what I mean that body shot and you have to give credit to Topales yes he is the underdog but he’s unified champion in this division he’s not coming in like we’ve seen previous opponents of inway do and trying to win games and again I like I like I like the game plan that the is though in terms of the body. He’s he’s going to the body, you know, to probably take away some of that power of Inway, but but he has to be he has to be careful. Don’t you don’t want to get greedy. And here comes Inway. These are hard shots by Na. Big left hand to the head. Here comes the monster. Left hand, right hand tool is down. didn’t see the shot with the high guard. Came around the guard, put him down. You’re attentive and you get you end up getting dropped. The thing is he can he can box with him, you know. He can box with him. He just got to, you know, he he’s got to watch it. He has his block. He places his shots, elbows, and everything. And in way the way he ended round four. Devastating shots downstairs then upstairs. and standing in front of him is not going to help. All you’re doing is being becoming a punching bag and a sitting target. That’s a getting pieced up against Naoya Inaway. Right hand gets through the guard. Another right hand. Nice uppercut. Uppercut for Ina. Nice counter from Topales though. Another huge body shot. tell you he has to protect that body cuz pretty soon the hands are going to drop and he’s going to come right back up top. Nice counter. Nice counter from Inway. That was nice. That was nice from Tales. Lands a sneak. Another one. Another one. Here comes Marvin Tales. Ooh, nice. Both men exchanging right hands to the head. Oh, big uppercut by Inway. You can tell those body shots are affecting Tala as he motions. Oh, right hand gets In away. And again, just standing in front of him. He got He needs to keep he faint turn something. It’s not where you want to be with your Marlin Tales. Oh, nice. That I love that undercom is breaking the guard up anyway. You can hear you can hear the pal’s team jab to the body. J. Nice. Nice left hand from the palace. [Applause] And you hear him, you hear him saying the corners. I know a lot of those are box, but you can hear you just hear you can hear the pop on them. But it’s like I said earlier, if you know Oh, got caught coming out with his hands down. But it’s like I said earlier though. Oh, huge right hand for Inway to close out round six. [Applause] [Music] Halfway through our undisputed super bantamweight championship. Inway did score the knockdown in round four. his moments, but you’re looking for some infight adjustments here. Nice jab. It’s nice. Good jab. You got to You got to keep backing the monster up. Caught that in the glove. Huge left and right hand get through for in away again. Nice, nice, nice lead jab there. And he’s he’s having moments. He’s probably even winning the round. He’s got nice shot from Polish. He’s bending his knees. He’s got the body movement. He’s turning. The jab is fighting most he says now. You know what I’m saying? He’s catching anyway falling at times. It’s also Jamal, you mentioned Tales lowering that right lead hand. It also allows a different angle for him to throw the jab that Inway may not be expecting. [Music] Nice big right hand there for Inway. For and expected from Topal even though he has two came in as an underdog. Has shocked the world before. He’s doubling up that right hand. See again he’s doubled up that right hand cuz Tal he probably thinks P thinks he’s going to stop at one right hand and he’ll double up. Nice one too. Shot from Palace. Left hand got through for Tales. Right is working for Tales. Mhm. of anyway his lead. But he has but he has to I know he has to watch it even because when he shoots that jab forward he still he shoots right he he falls right on the inside goes back to that high guard [Music] making infight adjustments at times frustrating in a way and you know you notice at times when he puts his hands up like that in a way would throw a And it hurt. Oh, big right hand there. Backed up to PZ. And can he beat the count. He’s not going to make it up. Na in a way makes history. Did he came to fight? And again, like I said, the shots like that, even though it was on it was on the glove, but you just how hard he hits, you knew he was going to break. He was going to break through the guard and and start touching that chin just like that. He thought he had his hands up and he thought he was protected. Sat on that right hand. And that’s incredible. Both of those right hands were partially blocked. He is the winner by way of knockout. He is now the undefeated undisputed super bantamweight champion of the world now the monster [Music] in [Music] you men receive my instructions in the dressing room. Protect yourselves at all times. Touch gloves now men. You’re boxing at the bell. God bless you both. Touch gloves. He is also a calm fighter, confidently calm. He has exceptional footwork. He’s sturdy. But this is a fight where Ner has said, “I want it to end early and goes down.” And I I can tell you if Inaway lands on Ner and he goes down, he’s one of the best finishers in the game. Right hand coming through from Inaway early on. 2023 fighter of the year. First Japanese fighter to win that boxing writers award in 85 years. So holding a New York City June 6th to accept that. I like I like that from Ner is dangerous. However, when he got to be careful reaching right there in a way tends to bag out in straight lines. He drops that left hand and when he throws the left hook, he has a tail. He drops that left hand first before he leads with that left hook. [Applause] Ner right now doesn’t seem spooked by the punching power. Oh, there it is. And away goes down. Luis Ner with a first round knockdown of the monster in the inside right here. You see Ner set up this shot. See the small uppercut right there. But you see when Inaway tends to throw one hand, that left hand, the opposite hand tends to drop. Poor fundamental habits right there from Neoya Inaway and Resolute in saying that he sees flaws and he will knock out the monster and now he’s going after him. Luis Ner determined to deliver on it. Goes to the body with a left hand now on the inside and away covering up. Tries to deliver a right hand of his own. An uppercut comes through but Ner unaffected. He keeps punching. Let’s take into account that Ner is a a veteran in this weight class. been in this weight class for about I believe couple of years now. Tess of course the title is at 118 and 122. And now how does the monster react as he goes back to the jab as you can hear this massive crowd in Tokyo trying to rally support for their hero. You have to go all the way back. The last major fight card was Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson in February of 1990. And then the first round of the showcase event in all that time and the great Inaway hits the canvas. But Darius seems to be changing up his attack test right now. He’s trying to be patient. He’s trying to catch Inaway out of position. When in commits, he’s out of position. There it is. Inaway returns the favor. lunging forward. Ner again on the attack. Coming forward, reaching with that left hand. You see him forward shift and Inaway right there just filling that gap or that space with that left hook. Here he is reaching with the back hand. Inway stepping back, has a single high shield. Oh, why don’t you eat that young man? Go ahead and sit down. And Tim, that is a prime example of what you describe in terms of elite technique and athleticism. Yes, you just saw it from Inaway. That was from about 4 to 6 in away. And watch that back foot. Feet and hand working together. That’s a bad habit from Ner with a sharp left hook on the inside. You saw that back foot of Neri follow forward. His whole body went in that path. [Applause] I don’t know if he was extremely hurt from that shot test. A great bounceback round for Inaway after he suffered first knockdown of his career in round one. So swapping 10 eight rounds to open up this championship event. When a fighter starts to anticipate tests act the uh actions and reactions that’s when things start to slow down for him. You know the mind is faster than any than the actual reaction which slows things down. This combination from Inaway and now he goes with that right hand to the body. Remember, it was a body shot that caused Ner’s only defeat of his career. [Applause] The punch placement right now was given Ner Fitz. Ner understands that he can’t compete with that. He’s looking for that single shot. He’s looking for Inway to make a mistake to make him pay. If Inway gets overconfident and throws too many shots and get a little bit greedy, Good right hand. Anyway, now he’s getting comfortable getting the Oh, there’s another one. Timmy, anticipation is on. Now he better change things up. He better start fainting. Start using his jab. Oh, there’s another one that splits the guard. That right hand is being placed well by the monster. In the first round, Luis Neri scored the knockdown. He had a 15-8 connect advantage. 45 previous rounds in a way had four total connects until the first round tonight against Neri placing those shots in between the shots of in away and he’s going to have to prevent that bomb from coming. Tess his defense has to get better. He has to be responsible after his offense. Four punch combination from Inway. There’s that pop right hand again. It’s finding the target. [Music] Inway seems to be softening him up right now. He’s just taking advantage of those poor fundamental habits. Oh, look at this little showbo trying to draw him in and then firing off. Again, told you defense got to be on point when you face it anyway with the speed, power, and accuracy that he brings to the table. You know, that’s why he’s a two division world champion. Yes, he has the skills, he has punching power. However, that toughness, that grittiness, he’s going to have to bring that out tonight to get one. [Applause] You can just see Inaway right now just weakening up Naring weakening him and he’s look and I think he’s looking for that left hook to deliver. That’s what he’s trying to set up. He’s trying to get him used to the shots up top upstairs and see him testing that a few times moments ago. [Applause] Round number five. Your hands. Watch your hands. Good. Positioning of of Inway top notch. Oh, there’s two right hands. Backs up Neri for a moment. Now he inches ahead. See, positioning is the placement of a boxer compared or in relation to your opponent. With the lead foot, Ner is constantly moving to his left towards the right hand. That’s why he keeps eating those right hands. Good right hand returning fire near stepping forward. There is a certain sound to the combination punching of inaway that’s very distinct. Was handed a lifetime ban by the local commission that was lifted so that they could have this mega event. Perhaps an opportunity for Neri but with them comes great risk. like that. There it is. There’s the risk with no reward. Left hook scores the knockdown again. Being calm in the storm. You see right there. Just found a little gap right there. Lead hand is down of Ner on the inside. In a way noticing that he’s attempted there. Just missed off the mark. But he dips under. You see his eyes. He’s looking right at Ner. He sees those hands. Pull away from that face. When we talk about punching technique, Tim, look at this. When you talk about the ability to turn a punch over in the last few inches of the delivery system, under 30 seconds to go, facing one of the great closers in recent boxing history. Here comes the monster. right hand. Stood up to it for the moment and away on the attack. An undisputed champion against a former champion, but there are levels to this game and guys like Inaway and Bud Crawford are currently just on a far different pedestal. that speed and quickness. Tessa, you you alluded to it, the accuracy and how he’s able to generate that power from short distance like that with that much torque, that much power. It’s brilliant stuff right there from anyway. Stands up to that offensive effort from Inway from Ner and fires back combination up top. It’s almost over. test. Ner can’t keep taking these these type of shots over and over and over. What do you see as a potential finisher here, Tim? There’s a right hand. He just answered the question as Ner has crumbled and the monster has roared. He’s done it again of Luis Ner. Tim, there are not enough superlatives to paint on this performance from the second round on. No, not at all. And that finish right there. I mean, what what do you say, Tess? And look at the way Ner hit the canvas. Knees buckled. Got hit with an uppercut. Short uppercut right there on the inside. But then that short right hand has that type of effect. Like gosh, that’s just different level of of of technique right there and punching power. That’s god-given stuff right there. You know, Tess, you know what the difference is really with the Terrence Crawfords or the Inways of the World? Their athleticism is godly. and still the undefeated undisputed super bantamweight champion of the world. Naha monster in only because of the lower weight classes over the rules in the dressing room. I expect a good clean fight. Protect yourself at all time. Listen to my commands. Good luck. Touch gloves. Now title holder three consecutive knockouts all in Japan. This is the country where he won his first world title against Rio Isawa. That was five years to be heartened by the fact that there’s holes in the monsters arsenal. Yes, there there is. And the right time with Inaway. Inaway usually drops the opposite hand. So you see right there he threw the right hand to the body but look at the lead in when he throws the right one he’s you know he’s fainting fainting fainting see that that again the patience and the punch selection right here from anyway going down to the top had some success with that as well Donaire nice body work there from Naway a three-punch flurry nothing too dangerous to be able to to land Oh, there it is. That right hand to the body. I mean, oh, nice, nice little faint right there from Dhaney. Got himself in position with those faints. Right on top of left from Dohaney, but that right hand is in a perfect defensive position and that allows the body work for Dohaney with that left. Good stuff. Advantage. There’s a nice right there to the body from Inuade. He lands an overhand right to close out two rounds. Is has a lot of trickery to his style and it’s making inway uncomfortable. Uhoh. He’s not willing to let those hands go. Nice getting out. Is there a left there from Dohenny? But again, it all it almost feels like one shot. Nice looping left right there. Oh, another one. Howard, things are heating up here in the fourth round. Inway sets up an overhand right as well, but nothing landing perfectly clean for Inway as of yet. But it almost feels like Inway is is just looking to line up. One big shot left. Come over the top by going to the body like he’s doing right there. [Music] Really technical approach by both both men tonight. And and now Tim, he’s closed the gap. He’s in his grill. Yeah, but again he’s not but he’s not going but he’s not going there. Yeahation [Music] right there. Nice change up levels going to the body and then coming upstairs with combination. That’s the that’s the shot that he was looking for. Step in right. I’m very impressed with that. And look look look how he was able to get in position right there. Just a little trickery. changed his his strategy and he’s saying, “Okay, I want you to come to me now.” Yeah, come to me. Nice left there from Dohenni. How will punching power too that he has to worry about. Now, the thing is Dohenny has punching power early on in the fight. Na body once again from Dhenni has a straight jab and a quick combination, but good defense from Dohaney. Only the first one comes through. Pay attention to that shot. He’s going to try to set up that shot. Nice body work right there from Inway. Really good Dhaney with the left uppercut. That shot from And that’s what you’ve got to do as Dhane goes to the body with the rightway. You have to pick your poison, Tim. There it is. 2-1 combination. That lead hand when he throws that right hand or when he steps back. Ooh, that’s a big left hook right there. Now in a way starting to get in his rhythm now. He’s starting to get in his rhythm. That’s what you got to do is break down your opponent. Nice straight left there from TJ Dohaney to close out another solid round. Oh. Oh, Tim. The the face doesn’t take the punches as well, but Noy delivering some here in the six. Anyway, unable to get punches and bunches going so far. Although there a nice right to the body. Sets up an overhand right. Man, a lot of respect to the defense. you know, you know that that’s what he probably went back to the gym to work on. So, you know, although he’s an exceptional fighter, you know, still got a lot to learn. Oh, nice liver shot there from Inway. You’re always perfecting your craft and trying to make yourself better. Good left right hand down the middle. There’s a straight right downstairs from now in answers in turn. in a way starting to have a little fun now. Getting in his rhythm and just the change in pace and rhythm, bouncing in and out on his toes. Yeah, there’s a pep to his step now. Like he found something, Tim. And there’s that straight right that lands on Dhaney. He sure nice body work from Dohaney. Overhand right from Na. And a straight right across the face. Carrying him. He wants this fight to go into the later rounds. He’s figuring it out here halfway through this fight. And that straight right is finding a home on the face of Dohenny. And it’s the body work that could pay dividends for Naoya Inu. Nice body work there from Dohaney. Good combination. Could be less steam on those shots from Dohaney. Now, that does nice stiff jab though up the gut. And there’s Oh, yeah. Anyway, that body work pins Dohenny back against the ropes. That’s the difference. That is the difference right there. And this is where he’s making them an instant punching bag right here. Having him trapped in the corner big body punchers. And now you see the reaction from Dohi. That one hurt him. And I don’t know if it’s ankle back. He said, “Hold up.” Yes, he did. Hold up. He hit me in the stomach and he just dislocated my back. He he punched me. Straight right hand right down the middle from Inway. Can’t miss with that shot. He started to spam it upstairs and downstairs. The combination right there as he’s moving back. Ladies and gentlemen, world nuya the monster in know [Applause] [Music]
