Great match from both players. However, I don’t know why Naomi’s coaches are not working on her net game, finishing points with good volleys, drop shots. She needs all these weapons. It’s gonna be hard for her to go through those top ladies with only baseline power. I wish her a great run here at Melbourne.

Im surprised to this day, Naomi doesn't sidestep back to center, her linear running in either direction already shows the opponent in their peripheral vision well ahead of time where to hit

I was rooting for Ruzic but after she’d won the 2nd set, I knew 3rd set will be hard on her because she utilized her whole energy on 2nd set… And Naomi played that strategy well.. Its tough, its Naomi Osaka.. hmm
