So….. I shared this compilation of clips that were put together by JR East to remember the iconic movie that was “Watashii O Sukii Ni Tsurette”, released in 1987.
These clips, put together and released in 2017 on the 30th anniversary of the movie , are amazing. How awesome to see how JR took a tongue-in-cheek approach to remember and leverage such an iconic movie
I am grateful that JR East is open-minded enough to allow fans of the movie and all that is associated with it to share videos. Not for money, not for profit, but just because of love of the original movie.
I can’t say the same for Fuji TV and for Yuumin, or her record label or whoever the heck holds the rights to her songs from this iconic movie!
If you don’t want fans to monetize and benefit from the videos they want to share, then fine!! Just demonentize them!!
But to block and, in my case, demand removal of the original movie, which I shared purely to share the movie far and wide???
