レコーダーが捉えたＳｎｏｗ Ｍａｎ目黒蓮の思い

記者はそれぞれの取材方法を持つ。私なりのインタビューのやり方は―。
・事前に質問を考えない（生の空気感を大切にする）
・質問を重ねない（相手が発する言葉を待つため）
・ノートを開かない（目線を合わせて会話を楽しむ）
他にもあるが、新年からマイルールを破ってしまった。
元日付１面でＳｎｏｗ Ｍａｎの目黒蓮をインタビューした。２年前の元日に掲載した木村拓哉とは対照的で、質問の一つ一つに頭を垂らして、自信なさげな所作すら見せる。無言や熟考する時間も長かった。そんな目黒に対して「所属事務所に問題が起きた時は？」「滝沢秀明氏のことは？」「紅白歌合戦は？」。雰囲気を無視して、矢継ぎ早に問いかけた。聞きたい気持ちが先行してしまったのだ。案の定、会話にならない。目黒は「ずっと、なんか…」と苦笑いしていた。
