  1. Sorry but I go have to bring up the politics. If Naomi lives in the USA , why does she play for Japan? Does she have a green card or work permit or is she going to be deported by Trumpanomics? I am not even American but I find that disrespectful. If you want to live in a country then become a citizen or leave.

  2. Serena and Venus would not have pulled out. If she knew she was hurt from the start, she would not have entered the tournament because she wouldn't fight through it. I love her but I am disappointed.

  3. If you were not watching the match you have no authority to say anything about Naomi. If you were watching then you would see that she had serving issues. I prefer if those with the negative comments would give her a break.

  4. She'll be back! Unfortunate, I was rooting for her. Just hope she isn't too hard on herself for the retirement.

  5. I would say greater than 99% of commenters here don't play any serious level of tennis that approaches anywhere CLOSE to what the pros play at. If you've ever experience ANY sort of abdominal strain or leg injury, you could be in some serious pain for extended periods. It is well known she's been nursing an ab injury, which is not uncommon in tennis so let's ease up on the "she's faking the injury because she's losing" garbage…

  6. Like a Greek tragedy, a promising tennis star then discovered sex. She could have just waited like her idol Serena, but there was no self-control. Beware of the sins of the flesh… Galatians 5:19-21.

  7. Had Muchova employed better strategy in the second set against Osaka, the latter should have been out much earlier.

  8. Naomi pulls out timing rats wish it was with Karolina.Cause Karolina female Federer has the game go all the way a very big bonus for Belinda

  9. If her, Osaka's, pain was so bad, she should not have bothered to step on the court. Same song and dance from some of these players. So glad she's out.

  10. One trick pony Osaka's fuel ended 😂😂😂. Gone are days when she won 4 slams in transition era when the likes of Konteveit & Badosa were #2.

  11. It's obvious that up 5-3 Osaka began experiencing physical issues, her serve speed greatly reduced. She'll have to take care of this injury and do a maximum of diverse training & preparation to better prepare her body now…

  12. Osaka already looked she was struggling in the previous match. Bad for the audience. But that is how things are. Only human – not machines. I hope she will recover quickly.
