Someone should tell that Osaka girl to just drop tennis altogether and be a Mom full-time. Her problem is not her tennis strokes, it's still there. Her problem is the muscle between her ears.
I could always predict Naomi’s game result without seeing it. Same pattern of the games will never make her to the top. Return the ball to the center of opponent court and opponent will kill and get the winning point without effort. So sad
wow, what a hard hitting , athletic match. The ladies have had some fantastic matches this tourney. Mboko and Badosa, Anisimova and Andreeva and now this. Such tension and a lot of good play. Paolini is so petite but man does she have some good shoulder strength to take those high balls and hit that forehand as hard as she does. That forehand is brutal!!
Another fan-damn-tastic match in this tournament. One of those where you kinda wish they could both win in some sort of rule exception. Osaka looked the best I've seen her in months, and Paolini just has no quit in her. Such smart tennis and great defending to go with some quality winners.
