Sao Kimura is a former Japanese female volleyball player. She was born on August 19, 1986 in Saitama Prefecture. She is 185 cm tall and plays as an outside hitter. Influenced by her parents, especially her mother, who played volleyball, she joined Akigawa JVC in the second grade of elementary school and started playing volleyball. She then continued her education at the prestigious Seido Gakuen Junior High School. In 2002, she entered Seido Gakuen High School, now Shimokitazawa Seido High School, known as a prestigious school for volleyball. Her natural personality and innocent smile earned her the nickname Super High School Girl. After graduating from high school, she joined Torre and joined the Torre Arrows in 2012. She contributed to the Torre Arrows’ fourth victory in the 2011-12 Premier League. In the final, she scored 20 points, the second most out of the two teams, and won the Best 6 for the fifth consecutive year. On July 10, 2012, it was announced that she would be transferring to Shofu Bank Turk Telekom of the Turkish League for the 2012 season after the London Olympics . Her salary is 100 million yen. On June 3 of the same year, In the 2013 season, Nippon Kanko Kogyo announced that he had agreed to a transfer from Bakufu Bank to Galata. On June 5, 2014, it was decided that he would return to the Torerows. This was his first professional contract with Torerow, and the contract period was two years.
