【THE QUESTIONS✌️】Vol.33 Maya Delilah
[Music] Hi, I’m my Delila and you’re watching Turn TV. Oh. Um, my recent favorite album is I think it’s I think the title is This This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway by Lola Young. Yeah, it’s a pretty good one. It’s neat and she went to school with me and I think she’s amazing. An album that changed my life is Continuum by John Mayer. It’s I think it’s such incredible songwriting uh singing and guitar playing all in one. Um which is something I aim to do and to have all three kind of going at the same time. The first live concert I went to was Paul Simon uh playing his album Graceand was incredible. Such a lucky first show to go to. It was um a British summertime show in my park. That’s a good question. Um, I mean, she’s so like miles beyond me, but um, Jonie Mitchell, I feel like a lot of her songw writing is about uh, love and passion and and politics and and yeah, I think I find I find her music like quite easy to to put my own like life situations in because they’re so exciting. [Music] Um, the creator I’d like to work with someday would be Anderson Pack. I think he’s really cool and so versatile. He does so many different things and and he’s just looks like a lot of fun to work [Music] with. Oh, okay. My favorite movie I’m going to go with um is a movie called Captain Fantastic about this family that move um this uh this dad that moves all his all of his children to live in the woods in like a very um like stripped lifestyle. Um and I think it’s a really wholesome film about like living life just in a really handsome place. [Music] Yes. Uh my favorite venue in in London is a venue that I used to work at. I used to bartend there for 5 years and it’s called the Roundhouse. It’s quite an iconic venue in Camden and uh about 3,000 people can fit in it. And yeah, it’s my dream I need to play in in my own time. Oh. Um, I’d like to pass on like confidence playing guitar as a woman to the next generation cuz I know it can be quite a daunting thing. Um, cuz it’s still such a male-dominated industry and instrument. And yeah, I think just the confidence to play it as anyone else would is the [Music] thing. Uh yeah, I’m a big fan of uh Reena uh Sama Syama. Yeah, Reena Syama. Um I think her music is incredible and I love everything she stands for as well. I would love to go to Woodstock. Like I would love to have gone to Woodstock and seen all of the music with that and Bob Dylan and Journey and Fantana and yeah I think like what a crazy lineup. I have the I have a vinyl of all of the performances like a massive like it folds out like five times different finals from that from that festival. So I think maybe about 60 70s probably. Um I’ve loved coming to Japan. I’m so excited to keep going coming back and and playing shows for you all. Um, yeah, it’s nothing like the UK. It’s so much better. And I love I love all the food and and the people are so kind. And yeah, thank you for having me. I’m Mile. Thank you for watching. [Music]
