Naomi is so talented-all the stuff is there-it's just her mental health that is not. But watching these highlights does she not realize how talented she is? She needs a sports psychologist/psychiatrist-not just a coach. Great match and hope Naomi makes it back to win another slam-would be great for the game
IMO Naomi has always been a drama show. All the baggage constantly. When she burst on the scene, they gave her way too much too soon. Huge endorsements, attention, expectation. Destined to fall sometime, and it has been painful to watch.
Osaka is a hard surface player. Looking at her past performance, she has not passed 3rd round.

It's sad to see Osaka dip the last few years. Her ability is definitely top 10. I think here inability to play defense, be too offensive at the wrong times, tied in with some bad strategy is why she is losing. I think Badosa also played at a high level. Hopefully she can figure out what she needs to change to start winning again.
