Today, we have some pretty big news. NTT will invest just under 10% in SBI and provide capital services. Prior to this , news came out that NTT will acquire SBI Sumitomo Trust Bank, which will provide a TB to SBI Sumitomo Trust Bank. Related to this is big news. The NTT Group is being reorganized. Recently, the NTT Data Group was listed on the stock exchange, but it will be made fully public and become a 100% public company. Before that, all NTT companies were fully public companies. Communications NTT and others have become completely part of the NTT holding company, so I think it’s fair to say they have become the same as the old electric railways. The purpose of splitting and privatizing the company, to hasten its competitiveness and promote privatization, has been achieved in a sense, so it should be fine. In fact, there were some who said they wanted to abolish the NTT Law, amend it or abolish it, and become a completely private company, but this caused a backlash from other mobile companies, such as Softbank and KDDI, who said that if they could no longer use NTT’s stations, it would be even more troublesome, and so they have already faced such backlash, so although the restrictions of NTT4 remain, the NTT Group has reverted to its former electric power company status. There are pros and cons about whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing that they have become an organization similar to the one in the past, but within that, domestic business is the main focus, and in the case of the NTT Data Group, more than half of their sales are overseas, so internationalization is progressing, and it may be that they were thinking of using this as a way of internationalization, but basically, they have a sense of crisis or way of thinking that they need to use a check mark sales method to attract domestic users, not just in telecommunications services, but also in banking, securities, and other such things, but from our perspective, this is something that should have been done more than 20 years ago. That’s what I think, and although I feel like the rally is a little late, I guess this is normal in society, so I think there was probably a certain degree of sense of crisis about Rakuten’s entry into the mobile and MNO markets. As you know, the reversal is in the environment where securities, banking, financial services, cards, and e-malls are all integrated, and if they gain a certain amount of market share, they will become very strong rivals, so they wanted to build something to counter that, and so they created NEX Securities and various other things like commodity point economic rights. So, of course, they want a bank, but from my point of view, it seems a bit late to say so, but they went to buy a bank, and the SBI Group just acquired Shin Bank, and the new bank is so big due to the heat that they said they would be happy to sell it. The reason behind this is that the new bank has 260 billion yen, which still needs to be returned to the country. It was originally the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, which went bankrupt and became a petitioning bank, but it has not yet finished repaying the public funds, so they want to finish that quickly, and so they will collect the funds from the sale of SBS Minshin and this time the 10% takeover investment from NTT and inject them into it, and it will be on par with other banks such as SBI Group. With securities and an application bank , it is a very powerful financial group, but it does not provide communication services, so I think there may have been a synergy effect in that area. Originally, SBI was SoftBank Investment, but it was separated from that to become independent and take its current form. At the press conference, there was talk about whether the environment with Son was okay, and I think Kitao’s true feelings were that it is now a completely different company and there is no relationship between them, but I think it is a bigger deal than I thought. In a sense, Kitao does not own many SBI shares – he doesn’t own that many – but he is really a bit of a jerk. I think it’s amazing that he’s behaving in this way, but I also think that maybe that’s why he has no resistance to this sort of thing. After all, Mitani-san held nearly 50% of the shares until very recently, and with the recent increase and halving he ‘s finally reduced it to about 1/3 of that, so as an unusual owner-manager I think he probably has a fear of losing his ownership , and he’s run the company like that for over 20 years. In that sense, Rakuten’s capital policy is very limited, so I think if they were to combine with KDDI or something like that they would be able to keep it all together. That’s right. Otherwise, SoftBank’s overall strength will be in the PayPay banking and PayPay services. The shopping side was weak, but they have turned Zozo into a high-powered company and are gradually strengthening the shopping side, so KDDI is the weakest in that area, so if they combine with KDDI, I think it will be just the right scale, but it seems that they are not even trying to do that at all. I think that if KDDI and Rakuten combined, it would become a company with a huge market share and extremely high overall strength, but I don’t think Chatan will do it, so this fixed partnership is something that only Kita, who did not have ownership to begin with, could have done, to become the number one communications group in Japan. We have received investment from NTT Docomo , and we have been thinking about things like that in the past, such as being acquired by another company, regardless of whether they would buy or not. Going forward, we will receive investment from NTT Docomo, and there is a possibility that a major disruption will occur in the communications business related to InterSterra Technology’s rocket business, so I think it is very right that they are putting their trust in that.
