Shohei with an EPIC BAT FLIP for his 35th HR of the season! | 大谷翔平35号放つ

and getting on base for this guy. Today’s starting pitcher for the Dodgers has hit 34 home runs this year. He’s at two his last two games and knocked in five. Here they are. Batting average lately has not been up where he would like it, but the power numbers have been real good. Whether it’s a full side or opposite field, the last two to the oppos side. So much pop in this bat. And ahead two and 0. Little squeeze there. Homeplay umpire Mike Mlinski. Brian Jeffers behind a plate. This is poorly caught, but it was to the opposite side of where the target was. On a two- pitch, Choi takes a strike. He has not gotten a hit in the first inning of one of his starts. Like you mentioned though, that was with him walking off of the mound to the on deck circle, not even going into the dugout. And like it was his phone booth. Superman hitting the ball in the air to center field. The starting pitcher hits a monster home run. He is out of this world. Show Otani, one of a kind alltime 35 for the year. Mookie gets on. Show goes deep. He used to rely on the nine-hole hitter to get on so he could hit with some people on base. Well, Muki got on with the walk and show took care of it in a big way. Tommy gives one up, takes two back, and the 40ome thousand fans in attendance today are going to have a story they can tell for as long as they live. I was at a game where Show Otani, the legendary Show Otani, started the game and then in the bottom of the first inning hit a mammoth home run to dead center field. [Applause]

  1. I'm a Dodger fan since 1971, So not exactly a bandwagon fan. I myself have never seen a Dodger pitcher give up a HR in the top of the first inning, and then hit a two run HR in the bottom of the first inning. Today I saw a first time thing in Dodger history. IDK if the Babe ever did that. Probably did. But today was a historical day for me

  3. Shohei: Yamamoto, this is how you get your win as Pitcher, I will just show you this one time alrite?
(Shohei didn't get win because he only pitched 3 innings, Just say this as a story)

  4. すごいな。
    今日シンカーあまり投げなかったのは、後続のメイがシンカーめっちゃ投げるからかな。だとしたら仲間思いすぎるな。

  5. As an Aussie, I’m not aligned to any team. I have the benefit of being able to watch a living legend in the making without being frustrated he plays for a team I don’t support.

  6. HR are almost routine for him, but he and his teammates get excited each time, which shows genuine passion. This makes it more exciting.
