Hello
This is the Samurai Blue fan voice This time, I saw a post where Keisuke Honda talked about what Indonesia needs to do to catch up to Japan’s soccer level This is a collection of reactions from Indonesian supporters First, let’s take a look at that article A legend in Japanese soccer Keisuke Honda wishes to make the Garuda soar even higher on the international stage Sent an important message to the young players in Indonesia Former AC Milan and Moscow player Honda emphasized that in order for Indonesia to catch up to the level of Japanese soccer, the players need to take a significant step by playing in Europe If they want to grow, Indonesian players should challenge themselves in Europe Because it is where mental quality and discipline are truly tested Honda mentioned in an interview Not only about his career abroad, Honda also referred to the importance of nurturing young talent He stated that Japan is at its current level due to significant investments in nurturing players from a young age at local academies He has roots in Indonesia He advised that we should not only rely on foreign players but also focus on developing local talent from the grassroots level However, in reality, there are not a few cases where young Indonesian players, after a short stint in Europe, decide to return home due to homesickness or a desire to be with their families Many stakeholders express disappointment over this phenomenon This is because the valuable experiences gained in Europe should serve as a springboard for their careers and the development of domestic football Indonesian players have talent, but unfortunately, they tend to return to their comfort zone quickly In reality, growth happens faster overseas Honda added This message was expected to serve as a motivational whip for young Indonesian players, encouraging them to possess the mental strength to compete overseas like players from Japan and South Korea, rather than being satisfied with the domestic league There were many negative comments regarding former U20 Indonesia national team coach Indra Sjafri’s talk about what is important for the development of Indonesian football, but what kind of reactions will we see this time? Now, let’s take a look at the reactions from Indonesian supporters The reason Indonesian players are not being noticed in Europe is that they haven’t had any standout moments in the World Cup or the Asian Cup Even in the AFF Cup, they are struggling to keep up There used to be kids who learned soccer over there, but in the end, they returned to the countryside without gaining any attention For example, there’s Samsul Arif The AFF Cup refers to the ASEAN Championship That side dish was pretty good Before saying you’re going to Europe, You need to get the domestic system in order first Now there are soccer schools all over the country, and I think there are even some in Papua But you know, When it comes to whether young talents are actually given the opportunity to play, I honestly think it’s difficult Even getting into the club level is tough, It’s hard without support or connections, right? In Konoha, money and connections take priority It’s determined not by the result, but by whether it fits in your pocket That’s why I can’t move forward But think about it carefully Soccer is actually the least expensive sport and anyone should be able to play it But in this country, it’s just being exploited by the wealthy for profit The focus has shifted from finding talent to making money For example, even Messi and Ronaldo They both came from poor families at first But they were able to succeed because there were leaders in their countries who recognized their talent We need people who can find and nurture talent In reality, PSSI must go to soccer schools in rural areas across the country to scout for talent PSSI is an abbreviation for the Indonesian Football Association It’s important to learn properly at soccer school, but PSSI also needs to change First, we need to eliminate the shady characters in the soccer world; otherwise, it’s all pointless At this rate, there is no progress at all Progress is impossible The people behind the scenes are involved from the local level to the national level I think it’s a good opinion and advice If you want to grow, you just have to level up little by little It’s impossible to start in Europe from the beginning First, let’s focus on the Singapore League Next is Tai Australia Japan Finally, it feels like Europe When it comes to soccer, we should learn everything from Japan Rather than increasing the number of educational institutions, including PSSI, it’s better to create a few high-quality ones and properly nurture good talent Everyone wants to play in Europe, but it doesn’t matter if the clubs don’t want those players That’s the reality That said, it’s not true that learning soccer in Europe is expensive… It’s already difficult in Asia, so Europe is just outrageous No one will reach out to you The playing style is rough and there’s no discipline Only a very few are active overseas That’s really true; European clubs hardly pay any attention to Indonesian players At most, just a handful The national team needs to study a lot more! If they do, I think they’ll be able to play in Europe too! It’s impossible to build a career in Europe just by learning at local soccer schools If you want to play in Europe, you need to learn at a European academy from a young age Japan is doing exactly that But in Indonesia, there are very few people who can afford to study abroad, and it’s not as wealthy as Japan What Honda is saying is correct But the problem is that our national team’s ranking is too low compared to countries in Central Asia and East Asia That doesn’t mean that overseas clubs will easily accept players It’s different if they were born in Europe The reality is that even promising talents like Withan and Marcelino are sitting on the bench Even though they have the ability Everyone has the desire to chase after Japan That’s why I want PSSI to seriously organize the league, eliminate corruption, and enforce discipline properly In the end, even if you go to Europe, you’ll just be sitting on a bench, right? Even so, don’t act all high and mighty Don’t forget that Japan’s current growth is thanks to the resources stolen from Indonesia; where’s the arrogance in that? It’s laughable Your knowledge level is low You don’t even understand the difference between advice and a condescending attitude? Monkey level The road to Europe is still a dead end Because there is no support Even if someone says they will help, they are only looking for immediate profits for business purposes The problem isn’t that the players don’t want to go, but that European clubs don’t want to acquire them That’s true They’re not skilled and they tend to want to fight right away Even though there are problems happening domestically, It would be even tougher if we went abroad, right? Even in the domestic league, foreign players are taking the positions How can they compete in Europe? The truth is, there are many talented players, but they aren’t given the opportunity to learn abroad In the end, the money is spent for oneself, and it’s easier to use players who have easily naturalized If that’s the case, local players will be buried It’s too much to dream about Europe when things aren’t even going well in our own league In fact, foreign players are increasingly coming to Indonesia But those foreign players are not top-class; they’re B or C level, right? The Indonesian league can only be called that level That foreign player is almost at an amateur level They’re no different from local grassroots soccer players If there is a chance, you should challenge yourself overseas, whether it’s in Japan, Korea, Thailand, or Vietnam You won’t grow if you just stay in the domestic league Of course, I’m not denying the domestic league, though That’s a good way of thinking Indonesian athletes tend to think about marriage and women as soon as they become a little famous It’s impossible to go to Europe I want to try challenging myself overseas too, but I don’t really have any skills The process is important in everything, right? You won’t see results right away Especially in soccer, I feel like I’m doing well in badminton I think soccer needs more physical training Like endurance and speed When looking at the technology afterwards, the Indonesian players still have weak stamina Of course, Japan is struggling even against Vietnam At this rate, it’s going to be tough to compete in Europe Indonesian athletes seem to perform naturally because they haven’t been properly trained since childhood It’s hard to achieve results that way In Japan, it’s said that preparations for becoming an athlete start even before a child is born I’m raising it on a national level Physicality doesn’t work in Europe, you know No, no, that’s not true Rizuki Ridokakankadeck and others have good physiques and are not inferior to European players Even Messi and Maradona were small but they excelled, and Japanese players are also making their mark, right? That’s right The problem might be with physical endurance It’s disappointing that there are no players getting results even when going to Europe unless they train more It’s impossible for players who aren’t even used domestically in Indonesia to play in Europe That’s why we need to raise the quality from a young age, just like in Japan, as Honda says It’s important to nurture from a young age Relying on naturalized players all the time is pathetic If they are players I have nurtured, they can have a long career There are many talented players, but we don’t have the funds Japan is a developed country, but Indonesia… no Indonesia has resources and is a wealthy country It’s just that the money is being embezzled There are plenty of things like oil and coal There are still many naturalized players in the Netherlands, Why try to develop local players? Maybe it would be better to change the name of PSSI to PSS Belgium? Indonesian athletes really need political backing to succeed They are being used for political purposes Once you become popular, everyone suddenly starts to approach you, and a competition of flattery begins Even a single international tournament can cause confusion In such a state, there’s no way for the soccer world to improve It’s understandable that foreign players say, ‘If you want to make money, go to Indonesia; if you want to build a reputation, go abroad.’ I agree with that opinion Having Honda as the head coach would be much better than the current situation Speaking of which, you were directing in Cambodia, right? Moreover, you can’t make progress in a country full of corruption for free Just winning against Thailand is already a stroke of luck Even if you build a career in Europe, you might end up on the bench in the second division Honda doesn’t understand With the quality of our players, we can’t compete with European teams There are still too many facilities lacking in Indonesia Let’s increase the number of grassroots soccer tournaments In Indonesia, there’s a strong belief that ‘being together is the most important, even if we can’t make a living.’ Even if it’s raining money abroad, I’d rather be hit by a rain of stones in my own country But you know, Where is that ‘rain of gold’? For Indonesians, even if they go abroad, it’s usually just a few thousand who succeed as servants or in manual labor businesses How do we move forward… there are just too many people passing the selection through the back door Mr. Honda The current Garuda is no longer in a state to fly The deep-rooted connections and nepotism make it impossible Japanese people have a strong mentality, don’t they? But as for my players’ mentality… well, as you can see, Japan is thorough in its training Indonesia tends to look for an easy way out quickly We should properly learn from Japan, right? There are players who get carried away just by being on the bench in a European club Honda is like the king of gasoline cars when it comes to fuel efficiency I really agree with this opinion Overseas You can’t grow unless you play, especially in Europe Exactly What the Japanese players are saying is really on point It should be important advice for the Indonesian players and coaches I think it’s fine even if it’s from the third division If I play for a year, I might be able to go to the second division, Mr. Honda I’ve started to miss the ‘fried foods and chicken’ from Indonesia The players can’t stay in Europe Indonesian players are gaining attention in Europe While dreaming, Japanese players are proving their skills in the World Cup We are at a level that doesn’t attract attention even within Asia The problem is that our players are at a physical disadvantage and it’s hard to maintain balance On top of that, there is also a language barrier Not just in sports, but in the economy as well, talented people from Indonesia are fleeing abroad first The most important thing is to change the ‘mindset’ of our athletes Mental and physical skills alone are not enough Indonesians basically have a ‘worker mindset’ There is no awareness of wanting to become a business owner As long as I can earn, that’s good enough It feels like as long as the family can eat, it’s okay The players’ mentality also has an impact, right? I get hurt just from being scolded a little I feel homesick as soon as I get a little lonely And this is while I’m still in the country Local players are already satisfied with their domestic leagues, so they’re afraid to go to Europe The competition there is tough, and they have to adapt at first In fact, there are young players who are being noticed by European clubs But the problem is whether that player has the determination to succeed over there The problem with young players is that when they score a goal or win, they immediately think, ‘I’m a star!’ and then they stop improving It looked like the U-23 representative was kicking a coconut instead of a soccer ball The passes only travel about 3 or 4 meters, and the quality is at the level of a pot, yet they act so arrogantly like they’re Honda You’re talking too much about it, even though your own country has lost in the World Cup Japanese players are able to perform well in Europe because they have been playing solidly in the domestic league Indonesian players still lack the skills, Mr. Honda Not only in Europe, but even in Asian leagues, I’m just sitting on the bench It’s like being a marketing staff I really think this is a motivational phrase! If I’m already exhausted and about to collapse after just a little training, it’s impossible Indonesia is too wealthy I’m satisfied with playing street soccer without going abroad Buying a car on loan and feeling happy when a driver asks for my autograph feels like being an idol If the player doesn’t get involved with women, their soccer life wouldn’t be ruined Honda is suited to be the national team coach In Europe, they don’t eat much rice It’s only natural to want to go home as the holiday after fasting approaches Europe and Indonesia have completely different cultures Indonesia tends to be lazy, which is quite unusual Isn’t there something going on behind the scenes that Japanese people are showing interest in Indonesia? What Indonesia needs isn’t Honda’s words, but corrupt bureaucrats You shouldn’t be posting silly things on social media or losing to women Are Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki all just names of fish? In this country, I can’t even dream of becoming a sports athlete In the end, even accomplished athletes who are discarded end up being neglected later Even if you try to succeed domestically, you are only hindered If you try to build a career abroad I saw a post where Keisuke Honda talked about what Indonesia needs to catch up to Japan’s soccer level, and he was called a ‘traitor’ It was a collection of reactions from Indonesian supporters This is a response to a question from the press conference when Asia Warriors FC played a match about a week ago It seems to be a new project started by Keisuke Honda, where he gathers Asian legends to play matches against professional clubs And the Indonesian supporters were still stating many reasons why they couldn’t do it Even if it’s impossible now, we need to think about how we can make it possible, or it will stay this way forever I saw a post where Keisuke Honda talked about what Indonesia needs to do to catch up to Japan’s soccer level What did you think about the reactions from Indonesian supporters? Please share your thoughts in the comments This channel features reactions from Japanese supporters We will also post reactions from overseas soccer supporters, so please subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss out! I would be really happy if you could also give a thumbs up! Please look forward to the next video It was a Samurai Blue fan voice
