Ozaki Yutaka was born in Nerima, Tokyo in 1965, to a family of four: his father, mother, and an older brother who was five years older than him. He was a spoiled child who loved to sing. When he was in the fifth grade of elementary school, Yutaka transferred to Asaichi, Saitama Prefecture, due to his father’s work. That was the beginning of everything. He started playing the folk guitar around this time because he could do it on his own. Determined to become a professional, Yutaka sent a demo tape to an audition three weeks later and passed. A year later, he dropped out of high school and decided to live as a professional singer. For eight years from that day, Ozaki Yutaka ran with his own thread, called song. He felt like he had become free that night of the 15th , and Ozaki Yutaka became a legend.
