【号泣】売れっ子全員退店後のオープン日…ローランド7年因縁相手が突然来店

No matter how cool a man acts, there’s a weakness he can never hide. Hiroomi: Since I started working as a Host, I’ve faced countless struggles.
(Hiroomi Kiyokiba, 29 yrs old, 1 yr and 5 months working as a Host, former member of self-defense force and a former idol.) He came to Kabukicho for the money, but he joined a terrible store at first. Hosts: Let’s do it! They finally got to post the advertisement 8 months after the closing of the store. As you know, all of the famous Hosts quit thus the club became an empty box with no products.
Video released on Dec 28th 2024. People kept saying that it’s impossible to bring back the club with just a bunch of rookies. However, ROLAND ignored all the criticisms and is reopening the store. Soon after the opening, Ikki, a first-year Host, arrived on an accompanied shift.
(Ikki Kamijyo, 25 yrs old, former construction worker, joined the store since Jan 2025.) Hosts: Welcome!
Customer: He told me to come to the store first so I rushed over. I was suppose to eat Eel at a business dinner. Instead, I bought the bento and brought it with me. Host: It might bring in good fortune for us. ROLAND: Hi, we never met have we?
Customer: I came from Hachioji todday. Mikado: I can’t drink alcohol yet so can we start with soft drink?
(Mikado Warabe, 19 yrs old, 3 months working as a Host, just graduated highschool.) The Hosts are all told to bring in customers on the first day no matter what it takes. ROLAND: Hi, nice to meet you. Let’s make a toast later. Do you recognize this guy? Kyosuke: I was a jeans craftsman, and am currently working as a waiter at a hostess bar.
(His name is Kyosuke Yukimura who got hired for his overwhelming extroverted vibe). Sota: He was hilarious at the audition and was the only one I wanted to hire on the spot that day.
(Sota Mizuki, 25 yrs old, 2yrs working as a Host, former train conductor) Sota: Are you good with Tanrei for your second drink?
Kyosuke: She’s going to drink this bottle. In fact her budget is 500k today.
Sota: For real? Sota: 500k for real? That’s super high! Amazing. It’s your first time right. You’ll be a great customer. Sota is acting like an experienced senior, but he’s only worked in the industry for 2 years. But he seems even more happier than when he got the order himself. Sota: I’m the boss here now so if the Hosts fail to make sales it’ll be my fault. So, I can’t thank you more. ROLAND, who knows better than anyone how newcomers develop, encountered a rookie even he couldn’t have predicted. ROLAND: Isn’t Ranobe’s customer insane? He paid 700k upfront… I originally thought he’s just a fake Romane and didn’t expect him to do this well. What does he mean by fake Romane? Ranobe: Here he comes, the second Ranobe!
ROLAND: What the hell.
(He does look like Romane, or more like ROLAND) He used to be a streamer, worked as a host and an office worker at Nagoya, and joined the store this July. He has an unique elegance that sets him apart from the other Hosts. ROLAND: Are you good at playing video game?
Ranobe: I’m more of an entertainer.
(He might have an unique elegance… or maybe not) Ranobe: I tried to match your hairstyle today out of respect, but actually, this is how I have always styled it. ROLAND: I’ve heard about that. We did a kick off party yesterday, and he was the only one who styled his hair. Ranobe: Yup. I make sure my hair and makeup are on point because a girl I pass by on the street might fall for me. Romane is famous as a look alike of ROLAND, but he’s known for his character than his sales. However, Ranobe, who also looks like ROLAND, made sales of 700k on the first day proving that he isn’t just a flash-in-the-pan. Ranobe: I don’t even know your number yet, but if I get to make you laugh…
ROLAND: If he manage to win her over, he gets to ask for her number. Are you going to make jokes?
Ranobe: No, I’m going to tell her my feelings. Ranobe: When Ikko is asked about her favorite champagne… “Don Péri—!”
(Ikko is a famous Japanese comedian known for her catchphrase “Dondake.”) Did he get her number?
Customer: It wasn’t funny so unfortunately no. Even though she spent a lot on the champagne, she wasn’t willing to exchange her number. The Host at the table across is also suppose to be an amateur but…. Customer: Let’s go all out to celebrate a new chapter for my Waseda classmate!
(Nagisa joined the store as a new graduate of Waseda University) Nagisa: I had a choice between THE CLUB and THE CHIC, and decided to join THE CHIC.
Director: You sound like you had a choice? Nagisa: Yeah, I joined a week a part from the ones who joined through the 5th audition, but I passed the interview so I had a choice. He chose to join THE CHIC, where everyone was a newcomer, thinking strategically like a highly educated person, since it would be easier for him to stand out. He isn’t just smart, but he’s also rich.
Nagisa: I drive the same car as ROLAND. He rides the same car as ROLAND, which is a Mercedes-Benz that cost roughly over 30 mil JPY. ROLAND: You know how most juniors would show respect to their senior and, if asked what car they drive, would say they don’t own one. Instead, he said, “I drive an SL”. Can you believe it. ROLAND: Do you own a cruiser?
Nagisa: What kind?
ROLAND: Damn, that’s the reaction of someone who actually owns one. Nagisa: I do have one with a bed.
ROLAND: Don’t say that in front of your senior. Also work hard like you don’t own a cruiser. He’s highly educated and is rich. He’s a bit obnoxious, or is he.
ROLAND: He came in late on the first day. And we all thought he won’t be successful. ROLAND: But later that day, his senior threw up, and since I knew Nagisa is rich, I thought he wouldn’t go near it. Instead, he immediately started cleaning it up. ROLAND: That amazed me. He’s the first person to clean up puke with his bare hands who also owns a cruiser. And then, a familiar face showed up.
ROLAND: Long time no see.
Guest: It’s been 8 years. ROLAND: You seem nervous.
Guest: Ofc I am. One is ROLAND’s former boss Ran Senna, and the other is ROLAND’s former competitor, Saran Saotome. Video released on May 2020.
ROLAND: Remember Saran and Sho, when I lost to them, I ended up thinking, “Why did I lose? I would’ve won if I’d just gone all out.” Host: Second place, general manager Saran Saotome, 12.3 mil! First place is Director ROLAND, 20mil! Congrats. Thank you for your hard work as always!
ROLAND: No worries, this place would fall apart without me. Back then, acting cocky was considered cool and thus both made no reaction when winning the sales competition. Still, they were rivals, always trying to outdo each other. Now he is managing two Host clubs. ROLAND: Let me introduce. This is Sota, he’s one of the nominees for the representative of the group. And this is Hiroomi, he’s working hard recently. Saran is a great Host so you two should ask questions. Ran: You’re the key to rebuilding THE CHIC, right.
Sota: Well yeah, though I kind of got lucky. Ran: You’ve only worked like 3 or 4 years right.
Sota: A bit over 2 years.
Hiroomi: I’ve worked as a Host for about a year and 5 months now. Ran: What?! It’s very rare for someone with only one or two years of experience to be the person in charge of the opening of a new store. Even Ran, who’s worked a long time in Kabukicho, is amazed. Ran: I feel like not many hosts stay long at THE ROLAND GROUP, so even a host who’s only been here for a year or two has about as much aura as Hosts elsewhere who’ve been coasting for ten years. Ran: I feel like most Hosts here is willing to work super hard for like half an year instead of coasting for another two years. And that’s what makes this group great. Sota: Thank you so much. Though we are just standing on the foundation the seniors made. We are lucky. Saran: You two are so lucky to have ROLAND!
Sota: I agree. For ROLAND, Ran is like a mentor he hardly ever gets to meet. ROLAND: Do you yell at your juniors these days.
Ran: If they are someone who do listen when I get angry then yes, but otherwise I don’t.
(As you may have known by now, Sota is famous among the middle-aged man) Sota: Will you yell at me?
Ran: How old are you?
Sota: I’m 26. Ran: I might try once to see if it works. But I think I will since you got a high motivation.
Sota: I’m scared of you now. Sota: Thank you for coming today. THE CHIC’s reopening is drawing attention from the entire industry. Competitors would’ve loved to see the store, full of newbies trying to rebuild its legacy, fail. Renge: As you all known, I used to work at BELLA NOTTE and… ROLAND: Your voice projects well. Renge: I loved eating Ramen from my childhood and have been training at a Ramen shop for 6 years now.
(Video released on Apr 2023.) He failed the second audition, the one Sota and the others passed, but he worked for two years at BELLA NOTTE, run by ROLAND. He kept working hard thus ROLAND decided to hire him as a Host. Renge: Let’s all work even harder on rebuilding THE CHIC and make the store more exciting than ever! Koutarou: Hear me out, my princess just told me that she’s glad that I transferred to THE ROLAND GROUP!
(Koutarou, whom ROLAND has high hopes for, started off with a champagne order.) He was also celebrated with champagne by his former Host colleagues. ROLAND: I did imagine before that new members, wanting to energize the store, would come together, but seeing it now makes me realize that this is exactly what I’ve wanted. The event ends with two stunning champagne towers lighting up the floor. ROLAND: It’s rare that we do the Princess Tower. We do a lot of social-tipping tower but… It’s your first time seeing it right. The social tipping tower is made through the social tipping from multiple customers, but the Princess Tower requires one customer to spend millions of Yen. Having not just one but two of these rare champagne towers signified the store’s comeback. The tower wasn’t built for the crowd watching online—it was made for the single person sitting right in front of it. It was their first champagne tower. They managed to liven things up, but under the intense pressure, they seemed a little overwhelmed. Hiroomi: I don’t know how to tell you how grateful I am and…
ROLAND: Don’t cry! You can do it! Hiroomi: Since I started working as a Host, I’ve faced countless struggles. Video released on Dec 28th 2024. He grew up in Okinawa, left the Self-Defense Forces, and his time as an idol didn’t last long either. Even after joining THE CHIC, he was just a nobody. No one gave a crap about what he was going through. Then the store closed. He had no where else to go. Hiroomi: Ever since the day I promised Sota we’d rebuild THE CHIC, there were so many times I wanted to punch him in the face, but I’m glad we got to work together. Hiroomi: Thank you for working with me. He knew from the beginning that he doesn’t have enough skill nor knowledge to be the person in charge for rebuilding the store. Hiroomi: What the hell were you guys thinking? Why haven’t you prepare these beforehand. He isn’t the type to get angry and bossy, yet he had to act like one. He feels relieved now. ROLAND: Let’s clean up together. Closing meeting Renge: Was a great opening day.
ROLAND: Are you the boss now. ROLAND: Good work today everyone. Raise your hand if you think you worked hard! ROLAND: I saw you all putting your best effort today. A lot of staff may have motivated you to work hard because it’s a special day, but it’s important to carry that same energy into regular business days. ROLAND: Remember the unity we shared today and all the hard work you put in. Don’t ever forget it. Well done everyone! Sota: I’ll be honest I didn’t have high hopes for today. In fact I was thinking that me and Hroomi getting 10 customers total would be good enough. Sota: But because you didn’t just tell the customers to come—you actually shared your feelings with them—today was a huge success. I’m proud of you all. Sota: Be proud of yourselves too. I watched you all work today, and I’d give it a 10 out of 10. Remember this day and let’s make this store the very best! ROLAND: There’s a phrase I really value. The dreams that people laugh at are the ones worth chasing. What I mean is that people kept telling me that I won’t get to rebuild the store. ROLAND: But what I thought was, what if I succeed. How would they react? Isn’t that exciting. I’m mean so I love winning and seeing those faces. ROLAND: Anyway, some of you might have thought “I could’ve done better”, or “I don’t know if I can keep on working here.” But I want you to remember that I care for you all and I only hire people that I see potentials in them. ROLAND: The entire world consider us to be in the loser’s bracket. But remember what I said yesterday, we aren’t making a V-shape recovery. We are making an I shape recovery. ROLAND: Let’s make everyone surprised and watch them cry! Ok then, everyone gather around! Let’s say “Let’s go CHIC!” together! Ready? ROLAND: CHIC let’s work hard together!
