Instead I believe that each of us should think for ourselves, without being influenced by other people. From personal experience, I have realized that whatever you do, people will always find ways to judge you. The sad thing is that if you don't share their thoughts, you are automatically excluded or "not suitable". I prefer to be judged rather than following something that does not belong to me. However, I think there is no objective concept of normality, with some exceptions. The most important thing in life is to always be yourself. So I think Akira's mistake was to be conditioned by society for fear of being judged.
You must always be true to yourself. Never change for anyone.
