In The New Wall Room, this episode was the first time that a new quiz called ヒットソング歌詞朗読クイズ Hit Song Lyric Reading Quiz was played in the show. Reading would be done pre-recorded by other celebrities or performers, and normally there were two readers who delivered three questions each. This type of question lasted for several times before going back to the usual quiz.

From this time onward, when playing Trial of Iron Ball, a handicap would be given to all regular in order to balance the competition with the newcomers, because the regular had already been used to the system so they could get more balls than first-time players. In this episode, the handicap would be given in the form of 煙幕の洗礼 (Baptism of Smokescreen) to Shingo Murakami and Becky, therefore making it difficult to see the iron balls.
