　難病のため29歳の若さで亡くなった棋士、村山聖（さとし）九段の生涯を松山ケンイチさん主演で描く映画「聖の青春」（森義隆監督）の特報映像が15日、公開された。これまで写真は公開されていたが、映像が公開されるのは初めてで、特報映像では、村山さんを演じる松山さんと羽生善治さんに扮した東出昌大さんが緊迫した表情で将棋をさすシーンなどが収められている。また、同映画が11月19日に公開されることも分かった。

　村山さんは難病を抱えながらも将棋に打ち込み、「東の羽生、西の村山」と称されるほどの実力を誇った棋士で、映画は、作家の大崎善生さんのノンフィクション小説「聖の青春」（角川文庫、講談社文庫）が原作となっている。松山さんは役作りのため体重を増やし、羽生さんを演じる東出さんは、羽生さん本人が1996年に史上初の7冠達成時に実際にかけていた眼鏡を借りて撮影したとして、話題になっている。

　特報映像のほか、ポスタービジュアルも公開された。ポスター表側では、松山さんが力強い視線を放つ表情と、東出さんと将棋盤に見入る姿を収めた写真がデザインされており、裏では、10代の村山さんを大阪に引き取り、共同生活をしながら支えた師匠・森信雄役を演じたリリー・フランキーさんと弟弟子の江川を演じた染谷将太さんの写真も掲載されている。

The teaser of the movie “Satoshi no Seishun” (Directed by Yoshitaka Mori) which portrays the life of shogi player ranked 9-dan Satoshi Murayama (Satoshi) – starred by Kenichi Matsuyama who passes away at the age of 29 due to incurable disease, was released on the 15th.

To date, the images were released, but the video has been published for the first time. In the trailer, there is a scene where Murayama played by Matsuyama and Yoshiharu Habu played by Masahiro Higashide show down chess with tense expression.
