While A BETTER TOMORROW 2 has the ultimate guns n swords ending, THE CHALLENGE goes for a much more intimate battle. Scott Glenn and Toshiro Mifune are an odd couple but have a good Master and Student dynamic.

This film is bonkers — I approve. EDIT Scott Glenn looks like David "Kwai Chang Caine" Carradine's more handsome brother in this one. Perhaps it's just the hairstyle?

I love how when the two samurai brothers are fighting, it is very poised and methodical.. but once Scott Glenn takes over, the evil brother is coming at him like Benny the Jet!
