    This iteration of Rebirth to Avoid Marrying Prince (and finding out truth) was entertaining and well-done. The FL and 2FL acted their age in their snide girly bickering (2FL did it better, actually) and ML did all the chasing.
    PLOT
    FL was reborn and remembered in her past life, after marrying the ML (4th Prince), who had ignored her, she and her family were killed off for being traitors. She remembered kneeling and begging in front of his closed door and there was no response. Instead, the 2FL, the side-concubine appeared, mocked her for not being loved (unlike her) and then murdered her. So in this life, the FL determinedly said no to the Emperor when he bequeathed the marriage. The 4th Prince, who was suffering from a poison from five years ago, was surprised at her adamant refusal and started checking her out.

    The FL, however, was no longer concerned about childish crush and romance since she knew her family's persecution was in the future. She was more focused on finding out the truth. However, in her search, she discovered her entanglement with the poisoned (a thing she hadn't known, since SHE had cured him previously in the other life) ML ran deeper than mere coldness on his part. The 2FL, the side concubine-to-be, had been feeding him "antidotes" and he married her as side-concubine because she was his savior but actually (well, we know this), the latter had taken the credit from the FL, who hadn't bothered to correct the fact until she now realized there was something wrong with this picture since she knew she had taken out all the toxin when she'd saved the Prince. The ML, in this life, had his dreams of the previous life and we saw that he, being continuedly poisoned/antidoted/poisoned had weakened in the years and couldn't save the woman he really wanted because he was often kept sick by his side-concubine. The turning point in THIS life was the moment when the FL brought up the truth–that SHE was the one who had saved him five years ago–that he started questioning about the "antidote" fed to him by the 2FL every time he became sick.

    (ME: See, people? You really need to stay around after saving someone's life so you don't suffer and have to come back in the next life to do over)

    Anyway, this key revelation had them both questioning their own version of their "memories." How did the 2FL, a rather stupid brat, knew about poisons? How was this related to the 2nd Prince's mother, who had the same fragrance? How did this connect to her family's executions? All questions were answered in the end and we have a happy ending.

    Review:
    The ML and FL had a good chemistry–even as she verbally attacked him, he didn't lose his cool but instead wanted to know the reason. He had liked her since her youth but because of his sick condition and court intrigue, she was more a BaiYueGuang than anything. Still, he didn't understand the hatred she seemed to harbor against him and he started pursuing her instead of just keeping his distance (as in the previous life).

    The plot revolving around the poison and her family's persecution was also quite well done as the slow reveal gave the characters (and us) insight on how the misunderstanding started. The girls were young and had no knowledge of the court intrigue between adults in arranging marriages and moving chess pieces. The princes knew more about it because they had lived it all their lives and were, as expected, fighting for the throne. Of course, the 2ML, being the villain, used more underhanded means.

    The 2FL was beyond dumb in all her ways of trying to win over the ML. I understand that she was just being used by her parents and she didn't have the grey matter to really get all the schemes done right, but at the beginning of the drama, she was shown as the evil one stabbing the FL to death. Really, she didn't seem capable of the beginning adult controntation because she freaking WHINED throughout the whole drama, LOL. So it was a bit hard to believe that part, but she was evil enough to keep poisoning/antidoting her crush for "love" as well as going along with all the drugging plots the other adults hatched out on her behalf, so eh, I'll just wave my hand and pretended she got more evil after marriage. But it was laughable that a bunch of serious power-hungry adults depended on THIS ONE DUMBASS girl to get them what they needed done, LOLOLOL. Every time they told her to do this or that, she would somehow f**k it up. It was funny as heck.
