【STORY】
人間と人魚が共存する未来社会。
船舶をつくる会社で働くサラリーマンのステファンは、ある日突然、人魚王国のお姫さま・チャオに求婚される！！ステファンは訳も分からないまま、チャオと一緒に生活することに！？純粋で真っすぐなチャオの愛情を受けて、ステファンは少しずつチャオに惹かれていく――。2人の恋の行方はどうなる！？

    This movie has been secretly worked on for 7 years, which is the reason Studio 4°C hasn't been very active for a few years, and also the reason why this movie feels very ambitious for Studio 4°C in a long time. the film is hand drawn with more than 100,000 drawings (probably because this film takes more advantage of hand-drawn animation than the studio's previous films, and you can see the animation is very fluid), the Madhouse film "Redline" was known for having this kind of development.

    Studio 4°C is known for having a long production time for their movies, MFKZ took 8 years to make, Children of the Sea took 5 years, and now ChaO with 7 years of production.
