Hideki Matsuyama 松山 英樹 Highlights Final Round | 125th U.S Open 2025
but he’s back downhill here lack of wind today i think early on you see the morning fog there i think put the ball in the fairway i think the course is early on please welcome plays downhill the deck keep posing go right a little bit then straighten up at the end so quick well it get there sums up his week but an easy par for Matsyama it’s the fairway and packed 295 to that bunker on the right you can see at the top right of your screen players just laying up short of there pretty accessible hole location today at the second it’s going to be positioned over there into under the pressure and he’ll be working on something trying to find something that will carry him on to the next week back portion of the green i mean strategic elements and that is actually a strategic hole where guys have to think through what club are you going to play how far do you want to carry it and where do you want to end up in the fairway matsyama for birdie hideki on the board at the second what a putt you’re able to hit the fairway it’ll be a blind approach shot lane ball in from right to left all indications it’s kind of hanging out to the right see if it gets a little feed back to the left there boy early on Hideki the last quarter of this putt is should start turning back to his right matsyama looking for back to back just had to be Tell you what he’s made more pars today in three holes he’s got two parts well out to the right there those bunkers down the right first one starts right there around 240 and there is a cluster of bunkers i’m not sure more than likely that is it looks like it’s in the rut there definitely going to be a layup it’ll have to should stay in the fairway there that’s going to be okay hideki gets really steep there trying to work this ball in from right to left uh he misses that ridge luckily that shot right there combined this is an unlikely birdie chance here wasn’t leaving it short [Applause] routine par for Matsyama tugged a little bit soft fairways and he’s in the short crafts that’s what we talked about yesterday the best of angles so now he’s going to start this right out of the hole try to work it in from right to left cuts the follow through off trying to flight the ball down flag hunting party right all the way well if both these players are putting well they wouldn’t be in the position they are right now you know started on a pretty aggressive line this could be shortsighted and is first miss green for Matsyama that was jarred there oh that’s incredible touch there what a shot by Matsyama that 315 from the teen ground to that bunker on the right the one down to the left is 280 yards he has split the fairway there good poke by Matsyama love the way he he carries his hands really low breaks the club up quickly all right two good shots here at the seventh just pass the ball English i like Hideki’s chances here he’ll give this one a good run matsyama also leaves it short to my point jeez good look there though as they move over to the eighth here after Harris on the right the one down to the left is 280 yds on a string he has split the fairway there poked by Matsyama turn it over really low breaks the club up quickly and missing the green at the eight which we’ll see quite a lot today many and I don’t know Tom all right seven just pass the ball English went halfway up his shin i like Hideki’s chances here he’ll give this one a good run ayama loses that on the low side his first miss also leaves it shorting the even par on the round good luck there one hole to go on the front nine this hole the ninth a difficult driving hole just like the 15th blind t- shot you can’t see the ball land you have a ditch up the left hand side that comes into play just just a few feet off the fairway down the left english and Matyama in the right hand rough on the nine all you can do there that’s actually very good from that position oh my wow that was probably one of the most misjudged putts that I’ve seen in quite some time there is fast really fast adekki Matsyama has reached the ninth well good par save ninth hole has been the most difficult on the golf course through the first three rounds up has pulled this to the left chose not to put that ball on the tee there it was just right off the deck full plays downhill and now Hideki looks like he’s choosing to lay up and it’s shortsided he could not get that ball back anywhere close he had to go sideways just to get it back into the fairway now hit the green and took him at the 10th after driving it in the left hand rough pretty nasty around here if you missed the green and he had to make a long one for six good chance to save bar inside the hole here don’t give it away what are the mornings like for the leaders going off keep it up on that top shelf on the left hand plenty of time to warm up if if you want to come to the golf course 3 hours ahead try and slow things down you know you never exactly what Jim was showing us right here this baller cut back all the way pretty much into the intermediate cut you know it’s going to the day is going to be Mr jack Nicholas final group on Sunday at the USO but you want to be that’s why you play this game but you you sort of have to pretty pretty good from Matsyama walk through the preparation for maybe one of the most difficult rounds of golf just do it slowly getting it ready for Daniel Burgerer in his third yama a miss is going to have a really good look after a really good second shot at set up by a excellent shot it’s still going to wander gave that one everything though second birdie on this back nine how about some highlights from these two earlier today at the second the approach for B double the first decided driver up there and was able to spin off but this was a dandy around the hole that would lead to his first birdie of the day so got one of those two shots back quickly out of the play there after a bogey at five what do you do you bounce back this was a sweet shot got to perfectly hole high on the par three pulled it right in the center [Applause] that’ll play tony Fen now also some good shots right in the middle of that front nine his second at the fifth the tilt in the fairway right to left the tilt in the green right to left the flagger on the left sweep it in there here for birdie it’s his fourth on the par five and he’s about 40 yds from the hole that’s some thick nasty stuff over there and you’re short side of yourself you got no green with which to work tough hole location not nearly the number of birdies you just got to hack this out and maybe take the what these guys are looking at love watching Matsyama he’s always been inside one of the top 10 in the world with his long iron play for a long time a little bit not the effort going to need a big time effort from Scotty Sheffler warming up he’ll be part of our afternoon feature group at 10:04 p.m eastern time alongside Nick Taylor you just said an interesting stat tiger the only top ranked player in the world to ever win the US Open that is correct eight shots any chance i don’t think so i I think just you know he’s he’s been a little sloppy a little untidy um as I said 15 bogeies that hopefully it’s under 94 yds it’s going to be a pivotal hole come late location really right on top of this shelf way to dazzle the crowd to finish his week that’s the armor close up two under 68 hit it in the spot and then you just have to be accepting what a second shot couldn’t believe it in a better position and what a final day for Matsyama got two under pie i was on a

Matsuyama could have shot 63 today. He is absolutely one of the best iron hitters in the world.
how many speaking at the same time?
バーデイーパットもう少し決めてくれよ😅
How did you select these highlight players? Is it your preference? As a Japanese person, I'm happy to see Hideki.
