ドクターコトー診療所は２００３年スタートの沖縄県八重山列島にあるとされる架空の島志木那島（ロケ地は与那国島）を舞台とする、孤島医療をテーマとした、吉岡秀隆さん主演の大人気ヒューマンドラマでした。
２０２２年にも映画版が作られ、記憶に新しいところです。
この動画は２０２４年の７月に与那国島のロケ地で撮影した、録音あて吹きの実写映像です。
診療所は現在も撮影で使用されたままの状態で保存されています。
海の日(７月２１日)にちなみ、美しい日本最西端の海の映像をどうぞ。
“Dr. Coto’s Clinic” is a popular human drama series that began in 2003, set on the fictional island of Shikina-jima, said to be located in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa Prefecture. The actual filming location was Yonaguni Island. The story focuses on medical care in a remote island setting and stars Hidetaka Yoshioka.
A movie adaptation was also released in 2022, which is still fresh in our memories.
This video is a live-action recording with post-dubbed audio, filmed at the Yonaguni Island location in July 2024.
The clinic building remains preserved exactly as it was during filming, still standing at the site today.
