永井ホトケ隆(vocals & guitar)
1972年、同志社大学在学中に〈ウエストロード・ブルーズバンド〉を結成。同年9月のB.B.Kingと共演し深くブルーズに傾倒する。数多くのライヴをこなしながら“関西ブルーズ・ムーヴメント”の核として活躍し、75年レコード・デビュー。同年ライヴ・アルバムもリリース。翌年アメリカ、カナダなど5カ国でアルバムがリリースされ渡米。77年〈ウェストロード〉解散後、吾妻光良等と〈ブルーへヴン〉を結成し2枚のアルバムを残す。80年代、ソロとして活動しながら『エンドレス・ブギ』などのコンサート・プロデュースとレコード・プロデュースも行う。90年代にはソロ・アルパム『フールズ・パラダイス』など2枚のアルバムをリリース。また、大阪毎日放送にてラジオ番組〈ズ・スピリッツ〉のDJを4年半担当。95年ニューヨークのクラブ、「トランプス」にてウエストロードのライヴを行い『ライヴ・イン・ニューヨーク』としてリリース。98年、小島良喜等と〈tRICK bAG〉を結成しアルバム『Last Exit』をリリース。05年東急オーチャード・ホールにてワールド・ミュージック・シリーズのブルーズ編『ヒストリー・オブ・ブルーズ』をプロデュース。過去、B.B.Kingをはじめ、Albert King、Robert Crayなど海外ミュージシャンとの共演も多く、またエッセイストとしても『ブルーズ パラダイス』など3冊のエッセイを発表し、吾妻光良との共著である教則本『プレイ・ザ・ブルーズ・ギター』も出版されている。現在は月刊アフタヌーンに連載の『俺と悪魔のブルーズ』(講談社)の監修を担当。05年から活動していた浅野祥之とのデュオに沼澤尚が参加する形でベースレス・バンドとして結成されたザ・ブルーズパワーを経て、現在blues.the-butcher-590213を中心に活動中。

沼澤 尚(Drums)
1983年大学卒業と同時にL.A.の音楽学校P.I.T.に留学,JOE PORCARO,RALPH HUMPHREYらに師事し卒業時に同校講師に迎えられた。
2000年までLAに在住しCHAKA KHAN,BOBBY WOMACK,LA ALL STARS,SHIELA E.,NED DOHENYなどのツアー参加をはじめ数々のアーチストと共演しながら”13CATS”として活動。4枚のオリジナルアルバムを発表し数回の来日ツアーも果たしている。1999年には自身のアルバム”THE WINGS OF TIME”をリリース,翌2000年に1997年から参加したシアターブルックとしての活動に専念するために17年ぶりに日本に帰国し、自身の写真とエッセイをフィーチャーしたアーティストブック”THE SEVENTH DIRECTION”も発表した。
21世紀に入ってから拠点を完全に日本国内に移して活動を始め,数え切れないアーチストのレコーディングやライブに参加。
2006年からマルコス・スザーノと内田直之との「ネニューマ・カンサオン・ソー・ムージカ」シリーズ5作品を立て続けに発表するなどソロ的な活動にもフォーカスし,ブラジルでのPERCPANをはじめ国内外の各種フェスティバルに多数出演し好評を博している。
2012年には1987年にLAで出会って以来、長年親交を深め師弟関係にある、アメリカ音楽史を半世紀に渡って築いてきた生きる伝説”JAMES GADSON”とのドラムパフォーマンスを”Drum Magazine Festival”で披露し、その模様を映像化、”THE SURE SHOT”と題して発表した。同時期に全編ツインドラムによるblues.the-butcher-590213とのライブ作品”THE SURE SHOT LIVE!”もリリース。

近年も変わらず国内で多くのレコーディングやライブに参加しながら、ナカコー(中村弘二)プロデュースによる15年ぶりのソロ作品”Entropy vol.1″、マルコス・スザーノ×勝井祐二×内田直之との完全即興ライブアルバム”FIM DE TARDE”、OKI DUB AINU BANDの”UTARHYTHM”、史上初の100%太陽光発電でのレコーディングによるシアターブルックのシングル「もう一度世界を変えるのさ」と多数の友人ミュージシャン達をゲストに迎えたアルバム”LOVE CHANGES THE WORLD”をリリース。
シアターブルックとしては太陽光発電によって全てのライブ活動を行い、中津川ソーラー武道館の開催などで再生可能エネルギーの普及に努めている。

2017年に10周年を迎えたブルーズ・ザ・ブッチャーは「blues.the-butcher-590213+うつみようこ」で通算8枚目になる”ROCKIN’ AND ROLLIN’”をリリースし全国をツアー中。

中條卓 (bass)
1965年神奈川県生まれ。12才の頃に聴いたBeatlesをきっかけにポピュラー音楽に興味を持つ。その後Bob Dylan、Rolling Stones、The Band、Allmans等も聴くようになり、ベースを手に入れ友人達とStax系のR&BやBluesナンバーも演奏するごった煮バンドを結成。当時はWest Road Blues Bandも手本としていた。その後、幾つかのRockバンドやセッション活動を経た後、1996年にTheatre Brookに加入。ここでドラマーの沼澤 尚に出会い、Blues Powerへのゲスト参加をきっかけとして、2007年blues.the-butcher-590213に至る。エレクトリックもウッドも使いこなす実力派ベース・プレイヤー。

KOTEZ (harmonica & vocals)
1971年、東京生まれ。シンガーソングライター/ピアニスト、YANCYとのデュオ「コテツ&ヤンシー」で2001年にアルバム・デビュー。その後、ドクター・ジョン、バディ・ガイ、オーティス・ラッシュ、オル・ダラのオープニング・アクトや鮎川誠(シーナ&ザ・ロケッツ)、内海利勝(元キャロル)、木村充輝(憂歌団)、永井ホトケ隆(ウェスト・ロード・ブルーズ・バンド)との共演や、ムッシュかまやつ、八代亜紀、パリスマッチ、奥井亜紀、ポカスカジャン、古澤良治郎、他多数のレコーディング/TV-CFハーモニカ演奏、ナレーション/CDライナーノーツ/音楽雑誌などの著作活動を幅広くこなす。ファンキーかつメロディアスなプレイを信条とするハーモニカ、ソウルフルで斬れのある独特なハイトーン・ヴォーカルともに各方面に定評がある。
