the French. Blessed to have her as part of their coaching staff. So now we have Avesta from Cyprus in the white. Abiotauta representing Japan in the blue and she’ll be wanting to get back [Music] to where she belongs and that’s top of the world, top of the ranking. pictures there of the crowd. Fancy dress is disturbing the view of someone in the seat behind him. Interesting battle as well on the mat as well as off the mat. Abuta looking working off the the sleeve grip. Avesta looking very busy out there trying to [Music] picking up the second cheo for a defensive action and um in some way you don’t blame her. She’s she’s trying to survive out there and I think it literally is a survival against Abiuta. It’s just a matter of time. It’s a calming process. settling in. Oh, beautiful Ichimata and planted well. So there you have it. [Applause] Abby on form on track setting their sights on that goal. It’s come to the map now and Neil Adams who’s free from commentating on map two gets to sit in and have a look at this one. Here we go. Oh well, this is the one we were waiting for. This is the one we were talking about and really it is as much as it’s a physical match. This is whoever can keep the head, who can stay composed, focused for the length of time it needs to. This is a fight that you plan for 6 minutes and hope it finishes in 30 seconds. You You’re probably looking at the next world champion here. Yeah, I’m not going to say which one. No, I No, I I wouldn’t put myself on the line for this one. this strength and we know Bashad has actually defeated Abbe before so she she knows his cape was I think it was here I wonder if it was here in Budapest I’ I’d need to look at and the one thing we have said and um Dennis called it well um this morning when he said about Abbe both of them they they like to have their own way when they dominate they dominate and they they can flow with a judo they’ve got the skills But when the fight is on, that’s the bit that they’re not used to. And that’s the thing that they’ll have to really overcome is when someone is aggressive with that determination and fight and that bite like Bashard, like Krniki, those type of athletes are the ones that the likes of Abbe just doesn’t like because it’s a fight. It’s not a It’s not a contest. It’s not about judo. It’s about digging in deep and fighting with the best of them and getting in the nitty-gritty of it all. Surely that can’t be right. They’ve gone headto head on nine occasions. Nine occasions. And what’s the results behind it? Oh, I can believe it. I’m quite sure they they’ve been around some time. Tony Wazard Pab into the position. Oh dear. It wasn’t It was in between. It was just after the Baku competition, the World Championships. She’d lost to her here, but she defeated her in the final of the Grand Slam in Osaka. Yes, home. So, yeah, home soil. Imagine that. Yeah, that’s uh take a loss in your backyard. That’s not nice, is it? But she beat every other occasion. Five finals they’ve been in. It’s the first time that they’ve ever um prepared in a head-to-head where one of them is going to go home. Yeah. Well, no score. Abbeby in all fairness is looking good. She’s looking sharp. I couldn’t write Bashard off. She’s got so much experience and she likes that head bean down. This is where you’re playing into the hands of Bousard. She’s comfortable there cuz she has that Yoko. Um she doesn’t want to be given away any shides. Um not to someone of that experience. You let the first you let the first one go, but she followed it. She followed it up very quickly with a second. But the the thing was I was talked about yesterday. She kept the grip and Abby wasn’t disadvantage. She she kept her grip. So you have to allow Abbe the advantage cuz she’s still standing. And if Bad continues the grip, then Bard gets up and she’s at a disadvantage. So that’s why I think they’ve said no penalty here. Oh, a is like one after the other. She’s not allowing Bashard to settle in at all. She’s keeping it fast. She’s keeping it moving all the time. She’s not getting into the nitty-gritty. She’s not getting into the head crunching. She’s not getting into that right angle position. She is just going for it all the time. That clock has ticked away so quickly. I can’t believe we’re less than a minute into this contest. That’s unbelievable. The action here is just keeping us on the edge of a chair and there’s still no score. But no, it’s too active and just, you know, allowed a little bit here and there where they may have said a false attack or whatever. No, you just keep going. As long as you keep in contact, you keep going. But Abbe is dominating the pace. That’s what’s good about this. is dominating the pace. And there you have Jane Bridge. He’s the one of the coaches for French judo. First ever world champion for Great Britain. Just held on to one side a little bit too long. Picked up the penalty. Brousard [Music] staying focused. Well, this is the bit that she doesn’t like. The head goes down. Rashard is comfortable there. She waits, but the head comes back up. She then corrects her positioning. It’s that little category. Yeah, it’s the category for that’s what we’re waiting for. But Abbeby knows it. Good call up from uh Loretta first up where she said they’re looking at 6 minutes and hoping that we’ll end in 30 seconds. Well, 30 seconds have gone, so I’m looking more at 6 minutes. Yes. And with golden score underway, four have gone and we’re into the uh golden score period. Who’s to say how long this one? Well, is determined. She’s looking good out there and and she has for the majority of this contest dictated the pace of the the the whole movement. She’s kept busy. She’s kept disengaged in that head-to-head situation. She’s not playing into the the arms of Bashard who likes to be up close and personal so she can come underneath with that head and drive off to the side. Abby needs a header little bit. Strong effort from Bousard. That was a good strong attack there but the positions were swapped there. Yeah. when when um Abbeby got on top. Yeah. The danger for Abby is her head being lower than Bousard’s. She has to stay ahead above Abbe. [Applause] Yes. Things look completely different when the head one head the head difference. That’s all it is. It’s the head difference. That’s She got forced into that. She got forced into it because her head was down. She had to come up with something and she came up with that little category was attack which was a force attack. So a minute and 8 seconds into golden score working off the sleeves looking really busy again head up moving creating space not allowing Bashard to get anywhere close to her and this is what she’s got. disengage in the contact but stay feet busy with the feet and the kumikata throws the arm. She had to leap forward for that. That’s a danger wants to get away again. Heads is up close. Absolutely close on that one. Criy that was that was one of the best so far. really had to drive and that hand was the savior. Could have even broke her own hand doing that. But there’s the third penalty. Well, it’s not nice to see the It was an exciting fight. There’s no doubt about it. But pressure was on Bashard a representing Canada, heavy dei. [Applause] Hey, hey, hey. [Applause] Yeah. Hey [Applause] [Music] [Applause] champion, time world champion. from Germany. World finalist [Applause] [Music] [Applause] The winner of those from Japan. [Applause] The number two final number from Kosovo Olympic Game 48 [Music] [Applause] from Spain Welcome to number five. All right, guys. [Music] [Applause] Give me a [Music] [Applause] Who’s that? Who’s there? [Music] You should leave. [Applause] This is from gold medalist [Music] World champion [Applause] Japan Aut. [Applause]

Mighty mouse does it again and again. Quickness, decisive, technical ability, and the drive to win. Uta Abe….fabulous tournament for you in front of home crowd. Could it get any better than that?
Abe —Japan— vs. Buchard —France… France? Really?—… beautiful woman vs. disgusting semi-female. Of course, the beautiful woman won… and she didn't need not a single awful tatoo to win!
This frenchie might be a man.
Good fun
Uta is amazing. It’s a shame that she didn’t win the gold at the Olympics.
Je trouve ça tellement dommage qu'aucune judoka ici n'ait de ne waza…
I am sorry but she is weak minded and the Olympics showed that. I wonder what gear or enhancing they are giving her. Japanese would not let the truth get out but it is too much of a difference.
i love uta
Hopefully Uta-san will be back for the tokyo grand slam in a few months.
boring!!!!
easy was in Hirosima or Nagasaki?
She is definitely the best in her category.
Uta! Epic win!
She has beautiful eyes 😅
Wasn't the ippon in the semi a bit cheap?
Idiotic commentators. I had to turn off the volume to watch this.
Uta, a tough woman. Congratulations.👍👍
Elle pleure plus uta abe…?
SHE IS ADORABLE
Ута супер!!!!!!! 😊
IKF ✊👊✊
Commentators really ought to say 1% of their commentary and allow the judo to speak for itself.
This may be the ASMR of combat sports commentary.
