That imagination scene is one of the cutest scenes in both seasons combined 😂 it is sooo wholesome to see him fantasizing about her like she does, and in her goofy usual self, and his smile proves furthermore that he adores her goofiness and finds her cute and funny 🥹 I JUST LOVE IT!!!!

Love your videos!! They're so good and positive about Naoki and Kotoko's relationship
At 6:00 : I would like to add more to this scene as i think lighting and shadows play into the mood too! We can see that Naoki's room is dark and cold, almost void of warmth, which mirrors his current feelings to the situation. He gets distracted by the stream of sunlight and follows it, as if it represents Kotoko, who has shown light into his life and made him realize he had other options to choose besides from following what everyone expected of him. It may also remind him that the person he truly loves is OUT THERE with another man who treats her the way she deserves. The way he even moves the curtain out of the way to allow more sunlight in shows what Naoki is battling. Honestly, it is a little heartbreaking

Controlling himself (and the situation!) is everything to Naoki. He's grown up with his mom trying to over-arrange everything all the time. Then to top it all off, he's got some public trauma, which probably impresses upon the importance of never breaking composure in public and led to some major suppression of his feelings.
