[Music] Top spin coming from Pavilik. Oh, good block. Saki pushes it backwards and another block from Ukraine. Puts them in the fight. We’re at 240. Mishika went a bit early and then that allowed the block to do what they wanted. She could have gone a little bit later and got quick at the ball and changed her timing, but it’s easy to say that when we’re watching [Applause] long unlucky if you’re a Ukraine fan that puts Japan back in good position [Music] [Applause] come back into the front row because Nikki now came on across the back with a pass. [Applause] Good work by Ukraine to stay in it. This is a high pressure situation. You got to keep your eyes off the scoreboard here. Just keep taking it one touch at a time, one opportunity at a time. It’s a piece float serve. Little bit of backspin on it. Over pass. Ukraine get a free ball. It’s got to be a bump set. Lefty swing and no center on the court for Ukraine. Unbelievable in that situation. Japan putting a bad pass like that. Seki did well to get anything on it, but we’ve got a challenge for reaching beyond the net here by Japan as they cross the plane of the net. So yeah, it will be unsuccessful. Both players with within their rights to play that ball at the same time. Show how well did. It’s 2625 set point. Shiaoa takes the first ball and a swing to go with it. Big block and a hustle. Pick up. Out of system play. And finally Japan get that rally done. They’ve been working extra hard late in the set. That was a ridiculous one-hand dig from Sato in that rally. It looked as if Ukraine were going to take that. Look at that. That was just crazy. And then off the back of that, that is a super swing. Big swing on the right side. There goes me getting it done. [Applause] Oh, they’ve got themselves to exactly where they wanted to be. Set point. Set point Ukraine. 24-9. Oh, pressure serve on Cojima. But that is a good work by Japan to get out of it. Shimamura with a quick arm. They’ve not run the middle very much. The serving pressure has been good enough from Ukraine to stop them doing that. [Music] Guad at the line. Set point Ukraine. They’ve got four of them. That is enough to get it done. 25- 20. Ukraine takes set number two over one. [Applause] Pressure serve. Just trickles over the blockers. That’s a good idea. It looked like she was going to have a big swing all the way up to the moment. Just rolls it casually over the block. [Music] 16 serving 23. Back to water. Oh, what a dig. Back outside this time. Another recycle play from Japan. One more chance to get it done. W again. The hands are there for the taking. And it’s finally Yamada in the middle who’s up early, but The point’s been given the other direction. [Music] Must have been a net touch. Oh yes. Put both her hands on the net. She played it over. That’s a big let off as well cuz Nuda’s ball in was what caused all the problem. Dors tough serve. Pans off the net. Hino looking for the sideline. That’s a great angle out of her. continues putting pressure on Japan with her serve. That’s much better. Yoshino’s [Applause] got plenty of line to work. The choice brings up set point for Japan. 24-8. Six chances to get it done. That’s not going to be the one. [Music] 23y old setter to keep Ukraine in this set. Is it in? Yes, it is. Stuff block by Ukraine. That was a monster block. Straight down. Hands across the net early. 20- 24. Another chance for Japan. Guada on the slice and yes, it is in on the sideline and Japan take the third set 25- 20 [Applause] down the line forcing Ishiawa to take the first ball. He’s out of system. What a dig by Nimva. Off the hands of the blockcha’s got to go again. And she goes wide. Point Ukraine. We are tied up at 23. Unbelievable. It was an incredible incredible dig from Japan off the swing. But look at this. Oh, so close. They have nerves of steel at the moment. Chicago man putting a hole in the ball. A little too wide. [Applause] Set point. Japan to go to a fifth. No, not yet. Ukraine are sticking around. They are not making it easy. Going beyond 25 again. Floats it. Shikawa finds away the hands. Japan back to set point. [Applause] Gets herself in a great spot. Just takes on the hand nearest the antenna again. Set point Japan. Can they get it done? Oh, great defense. Shikawa is the one. No, not yet. Ukraine to stay in it. Oh, simple roll. Here IA gets it done and we are going to fight. Inevitable really once they got themselves in where they wanted to be. Japan. [Applause] Saki floats it. It’s off the net. Doesn’t get a full swing on it. Ishiawa doesn’t either. And the block. It’s good for It’s exactly what it needs to be. It’s still a great position for Japan to be in though. [Applause] 1013 going to drops it in. Shikawa again drops it over. to bring up match point. Match point Japan 14-10. They’ve come all the way back. They were two sets down and now they’re on the verge of taking it. Ishiawa goes for it in the serve. It’s still alive. Yoshino wants to unwind, but it’s too long. Match point save then for the moment. First match point avoided. Three more to go. Is this the one for Japan? Will tip it over. That’s covered well. Ukraine trying to stay in it, but the block is good. Japan has done it. 1511 in the fifth set after being down two sets to zero. for 20th
