His performance fell far short of his true talent. Perhaps his sense of physical control is off after the injury. The costume's centrifugal force also seems to be hindering him. He possesses remarkable talent, dedication, and humor. I believe in his comeback.
Honestly this wasn't as much of a disaster as I was fearing, seeing the terrible season he's coming off of. I love this program for him. It really showcases his strengths. But, I think he could use a little less costume – it's kind of distracting and it doesn't help him improve the impression of his lines. I also hope he is working with a sports psychologist because when he makes a mistake you can see it all over his body language, and it takes him several seconds to get back into the program. Sell it man! We will buy it!
Kao is a great skater but I guess his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness: his intensity. Its great for choreography and interpretation, but not so good for jumps. He really need to pace himself in those take offs. Nevertheless great program, great music and interpretation!

率直に言って、甲冑がダサい。身体動作の邪魔になってるんじゃないの？ シンプルな衣装を身にまとって、武士？の世界観を表現力で感じさせるように変更しジャンプやステップを安定させることを優先しないと、多分、代表入りさえ難しいと思う。
ジャンプはまだ不調だけれど良いプログラムだな～ ジャンプ決まったら盛り上がりそう 是非復活して五輪勝ち取って欲しい
The costumes and music seem overly Japanese and unnatural.
Would they look cool if performed perfectly?
